The shape of the this serving piece is seen in other Haviland patterns by Schleiger. Most notably the"Theo" pattern from the early 1900s. The bottom plate measures 9" long and is 6 1/2" wide. The attached bowl measures 5 3/4" long, 5" in wide and 3 1/2" high. This serving dish is in very good overall vintage condition. There are no chips. I'm not exactly sure what this piece would have been used for- it looks like it would have been for snuff or possibly hat or dress pins. It is handpainted porcelain with a silver hinged lid. I am not sure if this is sterling or silverplate as it is tarn ished and I don't see any hallmarks. This piece is in excellent antique condition- no chips. Cracks, crazing or paint loss. The silver lid closes snugly and hinges are in good working order. I have not cleaned the tarnish off the silver portion but I think it would shine up nicely if you cho ose to do so. The overall dimensions are 5" long and approx. 1 1/ 8" in diameter. My guess is this piece is from the 19th century but not certain. All of our items come from a clean. Very pretty antique 19th Century Limoges porcelain dresser box by R. Laporte. Soft blue exterior with gold painted accent design. White daisies transfer on the lid, and yellow interior. There are a few flaws, and although notable, you have to be looking for them to notice. The lid has one tiny chip on the exterior, a larger chip on the interior, and a"water mark" in the paint on the side(see photos) Aside from that, this piece is in very good condition and would make an excellent addition to your collection. Lovely antique 19th Century Limoges porcelain dresser box by R. Laporte. Soft blue exterior with gold painted accent design. White daisies transfer on the lid, and yellow interior. There are a few flaws, and although notable, you have to be looking for them to notice. The lid has one tiny chip on the exterior, a larger chip on the interior, and a"water mark" in the paint on the side(see photos) Aside from that, this piece is in very good condition and would make an excellent addition to your collection. Enamel and gilt decorated all around and even with a pair of flower bouquets within the box itself. There is some wear to the decorations, mostly on top of the box, but otherwise this is in good shape. This measures about 5 5/8" long and 3 1/2" wide and 2 1/2" deep within. This auction is for a magnificent Antique Hand Painted French Limoges Covered/ Lidded Jar/ Box. Overall measurements are 8 inches in length. 3 3/4 inches in width,and 2 5/8 inches in Overall height. It is marked at base"Hand Painted. Limoges, France" It is in excellent condition with no chips or cracks with a few points of paint loss where the paintbrush ended its movement leaving a thicker quantity of paint. Which is in no way disturbing and or noticable. The rim of the lid is gilded so is the very base of the base. Most probably 19th Century or very early 20th Century. This Wonderful Antique Hand Painted Tressemann& Vogt Powder Box is Beautifully Painted with a Dreamy Scene by the Sea with a Sailboat in the distance and houses built up on the Rocks. In the Foreground there are Columns and a Sea Wall with Ivy or Greenery growing up the columns to the Pergola. The overall Colors are Blues. Purples and the Sky is a peachy Yellow. The Body of the Bottom of the Box and the outer rim of the Cover is a Lovely Turquoise Blue. Over the Painting there is Raised Gold Gilding all the way around the top of the Box, Scrolling inward toward the Painting which is unsigned by the Artist. Gorgeous Antique Limoges Porcelain Jewelry Box Casket on Ormolu Stand
Offered here is a fabulous Limoges jewelry box. Which rests on an ormolu stand. Hand painted every inch in beautiful gilt, with flowers on the hinged lid inside and on the bottom, although these may not be entirely paint, perhaps transferred, which was a common way of doing secondary decoration when this was made. Condition is very, very good: some slight bending to the stand, and what looks to be possible glue residue to the edges of the bottom. Also a bit of dust in the corners inside, I haven't cleaned this and will let the new owner decide if they feel it's necessary. Measures 7 inches long and about 4 inches tall when sitting on the stand. This is a wonderfully fine thing. Definitely first quality. Antique L.L. France Limoges Porcelain& Brass 3-Compartment Postage Stamp Box Up for sale is a really lovely antique porcelain L.L. France marked Limoges postage stamp box with ornate brass metal applique accents and trim. The box has 3 stamp compartments. It's 3.5" long. 1.75" wide and 1.75" at its tallest(the lid slopes down) The backside has half of the brass applique missing but otherwise all is in nice condition with no chips, cracks or breaks. The top of the lid has a metal flower design. There is residue around it that is perhaps glue from that piece being reattached(that's a guess) So a solution that will clean that off is all that is needed on the piece. I purchased this at an estate auction and am uncertain of its age but believe it to be many decades old and likely late 19th century. As in the last photo ... morethere is neat little tiny hole drilled in the bottom in a corner. This does not entire the inside compartments. Please note that my shipping time is up to 5 business days as I have multiple jobs and can only ship one day a week.
