ARCHITECTRAL- OAK DECORATED PAIR- SALVAGE Approximate measurements: a) 19" x 2 1/2" 9 1/2" x 3/4" b) 19" x 2 1/2" 9 1/2" x 3/4" Approximate weight: 7 lbs. An oak pair of.detail pieces is what I am listing. They were part of a table that an older feller had stuffed in his barn and used for who know what. It was a horrid brown poopy color. And cream. And red, and another brown.and you get where I am going. There is still some paint in the crevices where the embellishments are placed. The details are added and not part of the larger wood. The oak is quarter sawn so it has that amazing tiger oak look. The measurements are without the pegs since they all aren't there. I am sure that the artist in you will think of beautiful items that these could become. I am located in central Illinois and used to own ... morea small sawmill business. A few years ago we sold the saw but kept the lumber thinking of all the wonderfully beautiful things that could be created with the wood.furniture. Art, and anything in between. For sale is this unique one of a kind all wooden column pedestal. It stands 40" tall with a 9" shaft and a 15" wide top perfect for a statue stand. Plant, or lamp etc. This column originally came from a remodel job at the Princeton International School for Mathematics and Science(P.R.I.S.M.S) and was originally 8' tall and was modified into a half size decorative stand. Maker unknown. The pedestal weighs about 28 lbs as is and has a thick hand painted coating of oil base paint. The colors are an almond white with olive green as seen in the pics. It has has visible signs of some distress under neath the paint job such as a few chips and dents in the wood which actually adds character to this piece. Item sold As Is. Up for auction are two antique carved wood architectural remnants recently found in the Saratoga Springs NY area. They are offered in as found condition. They mirror each other but one has more losses than the other. It features the original dry finish of a blueish green over what appears to have mellowed into a salmon. There are cracks and breaks on both pieces. But would be great hung as architectural ornamentation. The smaller piece is approx. 10x8" and 3/4" thick. For sale is this exceptional looking copper on silver architectural piece. I was told this was a hat mold. But I could not find anything like it in my internet search. It could be used as a banister knob or any other creative reuse the winning bidder may have! Just an exquisite natural patina. Knob sits on a wood base That has a large screw hole on the bottom. Really beautiful in its simplicity. Top has a makers mark with 4 squares and under that is written silver on copper. You can see this in my top view and close-up, which was a bit hard to photograph clearly. Measures approx. 7" h. Wood base diameter is 6 1/2" while the knob width is approx. 5 1/2" A rare find! These are a very nice and unusual carved wood bullseyes. They have a soft minty green painted color that was done years ago. These measure 5 1/2" wide and are 8" tall. This is one of two very old ornate wood panel doors with folding privacy screens. After much debate. We determined that they were originally part of a church, perhaps modesty doors on a confessional. This is just our opinion since we have never come across something this unique. Hand carved oak leafs. Only the front is carved. Back is flush. Pegged tenons& ship lap joints leads us to believe the doors are 19th century or even earlier. They are solid and fairly heavy. Given the age. They do have several conditional issues and we'll let the photos address these issues. I consider all the issues expected honest wear. This door has a crack which is displayed in a close up photo. 8 Salvage Wood Pieces/ Chippy Paint - Architectural - 1890 ship lap/ Heart Pine
These eight salvaged wood pieces came from a 1890's Florida"Cracker-style" house whose interior walls were covered in painted shiplap made from heart pine boards. Here are six small salvaged boards from a mint green room in that home. Each piece measures 12" with 9.5" painted in the mint green. This is caused by the ends of the boards laying under door and window casings. Each piece is 3.25" wide. The pieces do lap together to make one large area. But these boards are old and some of the grooves are splintered. The fronts of the boards look fine, but some edges may be damaged. Heart pine was used extensively in Florida construction at the turn of the century. It smells wonderful and lasts forever. These salvaged pieces would be great for short peg shelves for jewelry etc. or for vintage signs or small craft projects. ... morethe last photo shows what these would look like as a peg shelf. Early Ottoman Empire / Architectural Fragment Wood Box
Up for auction is an antique 15th-16th century(1400's to 1500's) architectural fragment that was made into a slide open box. When you slide open its top. It reveals three compartments that were carved into the wood. The outer dimensions of the box measure 10.6 inches in length, 5.4 inches in depth, and 2.4 inches in height. I had the box appraised online. As I had no idea of its value or where it came from, and only knew from the second I picked this up that it was genuinely very, very old and could not be a modern reproduction. It would have taken just far too much time, labor and skilled workmanship in carving/aging it to even bother given its value that it could be sold for. Anyway, the expert verdict was that it dates back to the 15th- 16th century under the early Ottoman Empire, and probably comes from the Levant, although Egypt ... morewas also considered as a possibility. Given its age, I was surprised that it wasn't valued higher than it was, but as antiques and collectibles do fluctuate in value and in demand over time, that can certainly change and you just never know. Solid Wood Decorative Trim Molding Lot of 4 Pieces - Neat Architectural Salvage!
Up for sale is a great lot of 4 vintage pieces of wood decorative trim or molding. I'm not exactly sure what this was used for. But it was salvaged from an old estate in the Cincinnati area. It is solid wood with what appears to be some sort of lacquer on it. The motif looks floral, perhaps a tulip? In terms of condition. I would consider these to be good to very good. A few pieces have some minor cracking, but nothing that goes all the way through or causes them to be falling apart. Each piece is numbered on the back. And these 4 go in order, so they are fairly evenly matched. Each piece is roughly 6.5 inches long. 2.5 inches tall, and 0.75 inches deep at the base. Antique Architectural Salvage Hand Carved Wood Griffin Or Lion With Wings
This is a very cool looking antique architectural salvage handcarved wood Griffin or a lion with wings. It probably dates from the very late 19th to very early 20th century. It measures 10 inches tall(25.4 cm) It is 7 1/2 inches deep(19 cm) At the bottom in the front at the scroll it is 3 inches wide. But most of it is 2 inches wide(7.6 cm, 5.1 cm) I have a strong feeling this was from the front of the arm of an armchair. If you look at the bottom. You will see that one side has a strip of wood attached, whereas the other side doesn't. In the back of his head it looks as if there was another piece there which is missing(please see photos) It's developed a great old brown patina to it. It weighs just under 1 lb. 3 oz. 530 g)

The paint is a beautiful crackle green finish and it has a piece of the original hardware still attached. Its in great shape for it's age, the only damage I notice is on the left corner of the crown molding, it is cracked and splintered(can be glued) and the paint has flaked off. The other corner has some damage but not as bad. The back side I might mention has some damage where it was preyed of the wall. There is no paint on top of the crown molding and the other end where the molding was cut to fit the space. Great character and statement piece. Description This is a great piece that was salvaged from a Philadelphia. PA Victorian Home. They are made of oak and are painted. They were originally part of a set of doors that were beyond repair so we removed the decorative elements. There are several quatrafoil panels. We also have moldings that form a Gothic arcade. The squares are 7.75 inches square. It is approx 9 feet of Gothic arches by 7.5 feet tall. Overall. It is in good condition. There are misc. scratches and dings as it is antique. It could use a good cleaning. There are some missing moldings and various breaks. The Gothic arches are molding pieces without any backing boards. Architectural Salvage-Piece of Carved Wood Door Frame-maybe from Bath, England
I purchased at an estate sale. It had the tag on it when I purchased it. I have no idea if the representations are true. Or partially true. I certainly know the 14c and 1800's are two different time periods. Has a very nice patina. The wood is certainly petrified like, and I love the worm or termite holes. It has a gold teeth like hanger on the back and was previously hung vertically with rubber pads at the other end to prevent it rubbing off on the wall. The hangar portion is at the rough end of the piece. Overall, it is 17 inches long and 4 1/2 inches wide. It is 1 3/4 inches deep. Happy to answer specific questions.

Three (3) Tiger Oak wood panels Wainscot Architectural Antique
Three Tiger Oak panels: The smaller 2 panels are 47 11/16" x 24 3/32" at the base. The narrower measurement is 22 1/16" The large panel is 47 11/16" x 61 3/16" The depth of all panels at the base is about 2" The narrower measurement is about 1" These were salvaged from a church somewhere in the mid-west in the 1970's or 80's. My dad's friend salvaged church organs and came home with these one day. Don't know the age of the panels but they are beautiful solid oak. They are still in very good condition. There are two small red stains and some scuffing along the base of the large panel. The construction is identical on all three. Except that there is no return on the bottom of the large panel.
