Bottle itself is in fine condition no cracks or chips with a stopper that moves freely in and out. White paper attachment is part of an old sticker affixed to outside that will wash off in warm water. Inset glass label has a cracked edge missing some glass about 1/4" long tending to 1/3" along left hand side only. Label itself otherwise very intact and stable, cannot be jiggled nor is it loose. Very nice shelf display at a low New Years's special BIN price for collectors out there! Bottle measures 8.5" tall. This listing is for a Nineteenth Century antique tapered club form port wine decanter with fine diamond and flute cutting. It has a faceted flattened lozenge form stopper. And intricately engraved Royal Crown armorial crest over an"N" monogram. The engraving is beautiful with tiny evenly spaced cross hatches. It retains its hand made silver bottle ticket and belcher chain- which is unmarked. I'm unsure as to whether it is sterling, but it still has the scribe marks used to lay out the punch work. The decanter is unsigned, but markings are visible on the side of the polished stopper plug. it appears to read" 328 AGn T Paw" I am uncertyain about the"G" and"w" The glass is quite clear, and of good quality. For sale is an E.N. Welsh"Eclipse Regulator" circa 1900. The movement is 8 day. Time only with a calander wheel on the outer rim of the dial. The dial, which appears original, is paper on the original pan. All three hands also appear original. The glass which bears the name Eclipse Regulator, is old glass as evidenced by the small bubbles in the glass. The case is walnut and has been cleaned and sealed but not refinished. It has Eastlake Victorian styling and carving. The label on the back is approximately 95% complete. There is a beat meter that is not original. This is one Amber colored glass lightbulb shaped shaker. As in salt& pepper shaker. I don't know which one this is but it has one small hole in the top of the cap. It measures 5 3/4" tall from the base to the top of the lid. This looks just like a colored light bulb minus the interior filament. The lid is a brass toned metal. It unscrews so you can fill it. The belly of the bulb is approximately 2 1/2" in diameter. It has a flat bottom with the original label that says"VANDOR 1969 JAPAN" It has no chips, cracks, or damage of any sort. Up for auction is a beautiful square antique label under glass apothecary bottle from the late 1890's. This square glass bottle has a mold seam of the type found on older bottles. Pre-1900(non- machine made) The seam stops before it runs over the top of the lip of the bottle. It has no chips or cracks. Some air inclusion bubbles can be seen in the old glass. It was recovered from an old New Orleans mom and pop drugstore that went out of business in the 1950's and has been in storage since. This bottle measures about 10.25 inches tall with stopper and 3.5 inches wide. The stopper can be removed. The gold rimmed label with a red trim indicates that it was used to dispense Tincture of Gentian. In apothecary times Gentian was used in treating diabetes. See photo below) The thumbprint top was made wth a large shapely bubble of air in the center section and has no chips or cracks, and the indents are sharply cut. There is a pontil mark on the base. The apothecary bottle. Circa 1870s came from a Brooklyn Pharmacy established in 1875. It measures 9 1/2" high to the top of the ground glass stopper by 2 3/4" wide at the base. FOUND A CURE! This is an early British apothecary bottle for ground powder PULV(Pulverized) ULMI FULV with a label under glass label inset and highlighted by a thick gold border striped with red and bold black highlights that predates the 1930 drug laws. It is also called a"shop round" given its shape and has a ground glass stopper with flat tab pull handle. It measures 7 1/2" tall and 3" across the bottom. Picture Two shows you the affixed paper original label from former shop operator JW Woodhouse on Market Hill in Barnseley. England(this is a coal blackened Yorkshire town if you've ever been there set in rolling northern hills. I brought this bottle back from a trip myself so I do guarantee its authenticity. Condition Report: No cracks. Breaks, chips except for one internal air bubble captured on shoulder front ... morein the making. Stopper is intact but firmly stuck in bottle cannot remove unless you soak it carefully. Inner bottle contains dry filmy residue of former powdery ingredients. Label is perfect, shiny, strongly attached by beeswax. Caution: Please do not attempt to wash and use these bottles for food use. They are for collectors and display use only. Keep away from hot sun and overheated rooms due to beeswax affixative. This is thick substantial glass bottle weighing in at 18 ounces so welll boxed Priority Rate with insurance will apply. Very Rare Early 1900's DRUG STORE SODA FOUNTAIN RASPBERRY SYRUP BOTTLE with Measuring Cap Curved Glass Covered Label From a Connecticut Estate Auction comes this Very Rare Early 1900's DRUG STORE SODA FOUNTAIN SYRUP BOTTLE with CURVED GLASS OVER THE RASPBERRY LABEL. Standing 12” tall to the top of the heavy 2 1/2” tall cap. This has two strong seams and has an inset gold rimmed label which is covered with curved glass. This early bottle has some bubbles and straw marks consistent with old glass and is in excellent used condition with no defects that I see beyond a little typical roughness at the edge of the label along with some very minor staining from decades of being cleaned. The glass is clear and fairly clean although I'm sure it will benefit from further cleaning. This is one of several similar bottles I have. The hand-blown dish is of a typical wavy flattened form, decorated with a swirling pattern in colours and aventurine, on an opaque white ground. In all a really lovely stylish piece of Venetian Art Glass! It measures 9 1/2" across and 2 1/2" high. Apothecary Bottle c 1870. 9 1/2" Blown Glass, LUG(Label Under Glass) F.E.JALAPÆ(Label Under Glass) FLUIDEXTRACTUM JALAPÆ. A Cathartic(Laxative) It measures 9 1/2" high to the top of the ground glass stopper by 2 3/4" wide at the base. The thumbprint top was made wth a large shapely bubble of air in the center section, and the indents are sharply cut. There is a pontil mark on the base. The Bottle is Crystal Clear in excellent condition and the glass label is in good condition. The hand written documentation on the flask reads.Pocket Decanter Carried by Luther Mitchell( grandfather) It also states that the bottle was nearly 100 years old and it has a 1914 date after the statement. The color is a real honey amber although some of the photos appear to be greenish. Height is 5 3/4" tall. A nice double collar mouth with the original cork stopper gives the bottle a neat touch. Nice visible mold marks along the sides and the base are in fine problem free condition. This bottle has very good sharp color and clarity. Photos are proof that this bottle is empty.
