Antique Tooled leather physicians medicine carrier, holds 6 pill bottles.
This is a real nice and very well constructed leather medicine bottle carrier. It has a snap to close. Personalized with initials EEK, canvas lined interior glued to the leather, holds six pill bottles. Five of the six bottles have cork tops and gold paper label with something written on the front but cannot make it out. The smallest bottle does have a good label and a fancy metal cap. The bottle separators are actually the small straps you see on the back that are fed thru and tied off. The leather is still soft and in very good condition. Extra effort was taken to add the tooled borders and stylized front flap. It measures 5 3/8" wide and 3" high. and 1" thick. I'm guessing late 19th c and possibly very early 20th c. Hold off sending payment until I calculate exact shipping to your zip code.

Here we have two different sizes of amber medicine bottles. One is good for pinky and the other maybe forefinger. My freind and great blues slide player Charles King swears that these kind of bottles give the very best tone for slide playing. The smaller one is about 2" tall with a 1/2" diameter opening, the bigger one is about 2 1/2" tall and 3/4" in diameter at the mouth. Set of 4 Antique Medicine Bottles: Cobalt Blue
This lovely set of antique bottles would be a great addition to any collection or the start of one. These bottles are deep cobalt blue. Made in England. Each has six equal sides, blown in a cup-bottom mold, tooled finish and range in size from about 2" to almost 6" Each bottle also has vertical ribs on two sides to remind one that the contents are dangerous, along with the embossed warning NOT TO BE TAKEN between the vertically ribbed sides. According to the website. The product these contained was Paragoric Elixir made by E. E. Hall& Co. of Wolverhampton. England. The label, now gone, had the internal dose suggestions- contrary to the embossing on the bottle. Paregoric was an opioid analgesic used for several medical reasons, though when this bottle was used it common for"calming fretful children" The bottles are ... moreall clean and in excellent condition. The largest and the 3" bottle both have one small fleabite: the large one along an edge on the side and the smaller one at the bottom along on edge. Both are very small defects. Here for your consideration is a lot of 4 antique mold blown medicine bottles. These measure 6" x 2" x 1" They are aqua in color. Two seem a bit more blue and two seem a bit more green although they are all the same size and shape. Three have cork stoppers and there is a tiny remnant of a paper label on one which is amazing since these were part of a bottle dig! One has been broken off at the top but is included loose in the box. Bottles are hand-blown glass and each has the letter s"HAG" embossed on the bottom. Also. Each has the letters"S M" on the side. The letters measure ⅝" tall. Each of the two bottle measures 3½" tall not including stopper. 3 Antique Glass Pharmacy Jars Bottles - Medicine Apothecary Drugstore
Three antique glass pharmacy jars. Two of the jars have a couple barely noticeable small nicks on the inside edge of the openings. Two of the covers have chips on the bottom edges of the stoppers. They need some cleaning. The bottoms are marked: W.T.CO. A. They are approximately 4 5/8" tall(including covers) Please view all 7 pictures.

Estate sale: Antique vintage Parke. Davis& Co. Medicine Set with 10 small medicine bottle and a small knife scrapper thing. Bottles are labeled as follows: 1. Adrenalin Chloride Solution 2. Adrenalin Chloride Solution 3. Caffeine and Sodium Benzoate 4. Adrenalin in Oil 5. Camphor in Oil 6. Camphor in Oil 7. Pituitrin 8. Ergot Aseptic 9. Pitocin 10. Digifortis There are two spots missing bottles. The set also comes with a metal scrapper knife that has the Parke. Davis& Co. label on it. 3 Antique Medicine bottles, George Rau Apothecary, Hoff's German Liniment
These are three different medicine bottles. I am not sure what year they are. From Left to Right. The first bottle is 5 5/8" tall and has 12 sides. On the bottle it has"Hoff's German Liniment Goodrich& Jennings Anoka, Minn. It has an uneven blown on the bottle as shown in photo#4 giving an impression that there is oil in the bottle. Has air bubbles. Please inspect photo 2- 4. Bottle number 2 is 4 6/8" tall. Imprinted on the bottle is"George Rau Apothecary 101 Second Ave Cor 5th St. N.Y. The cork is inside the bottle. Chip on the lip. It has air bubble. Bottle number 3 is 6 2/8" tall. It has an"A" on the bottle. Long neck bottle and it is slanted to one side. It has 6 sides. 2 Sizes Blown Antique Oriental Medicine Lrg.1-1/2 in. Applied Crown Tops Bottles
2 Sizes Hand Blown Oriental. Japanese or Chinese Medicine Bottles with Applied Crown Tops_Lips. These are both the same the taller is just under 8 in. tall and the smaller is 6-1/8 in. tall. They are hand blown and there's groove and ripples in the glass that can be felt inside of the tops and where the mold line ends and the extra glass meets which in my opinion appears to be applied lips on both. The diameter is the same on both top@ 1-1/2 in. or 37 cm OD. these bottles are very hard to find and have seen ones like this only twice since I started collecting Asian Japanese bottles back in 1995 when I stumbled across a huge trash pit in Hilo town. They both display very well and the only distraction is in the base there's a unmixed ingrediant potstone in the smaller bottle's base.
