Bottle is 10" high and 3 1/2 diameter. Rare to find one with a bubble top stopper. Which is original.There are some vertical scratches on the shoulder which looks like the glass did not smooth over during manufacture(can be seen of photo of right side of bottle) One crack in the glass on the shoulder inside the glass, not on the surface. Some cracks inside the glass neck. Glass on bottle and neck is solid. and cracks can not be felt on the surface of the glass outside or inside they are in the glass. label has some flaking to the gold trim. Nice clean bottle. A different syle than the majority of these bottles. Including to unusual stopper the ridges on the bottle do not go all the way to the bottom or top, most do.

This clear bottle is in good condition for it's age, there are lots of bubbles in the glass, which is natural. There is a long bubble right under the neck that looks like a crack, but it is just a bubble. The location for the label is indented but label has long been missing. There is no evidence of any cracks to either the bottle or the ground glass stopper. RARE ANTIQUE PAT 1894 CANNABIS INDICA GLASS APOTHECARY LUG BOTTLE JAR MARIJUANA
For auction is a very rare vintage antique 1890's apothecary pharmacy general store medical bottle/ jar. This jar has a wonder label under glass for Cannabis Indica. Aka Marijuana, weed, pot, ganja, smoke, endo, etc. This jar has information on the bottom and says: Patd March 6th 1894, F& S St Louis MO. The jar is farly good size, and with the lid on it measures 10 inches tall by 3 1/2 inches square. The main body of the jar without the lid measures 8 3/4 inches tall. The mouth or opening of the jar measures 2 1/4 inches across. The jar itself is in very good condition with no breaks, no chips, maybe some light small scratches. The inside rim of the jar has 1 small chip and a couple super tiny fleabites. The label is in good shape with no cracking, but what looks like some light fading or discoloring. The ornate fancy lid to the jar ... moreis also in very good shape with 1 small nick on the upper part that fits inside the jar, and some tiny fleabites. Label Under Glass Apothecary Pharmaceutical Bottle, pre-1900
Up for auction is a beautiful square antique label under glass apothecary bottle from the late 1890's. This square glass bottle has a mold seam of the type found on older bottles. Pre-1900(non- machine made) The seam stops before it runs over the top of the lip of the bottle. It has no chips or cracks. Some air inclusion bubbles can be seen in the old glass. It was recovered from an old New Orleans mom and pop drugstore that went out of business in the 1950's and has been in storage since. This bottle measures about 10.25 inches tall with stopper and 3.5 inches wide. The stopper can be removed. The gold rimmed label with a red trim indicates that it was used to dispense Tincture of Gentian. In apothecary times Gentian was used in treating diabetes. Here is an apothecary bottle with"Spirit of Nitrous Ether" label. On the label it looks like a date of 1/13/27 and a number 5. It is a Rexall label from Burnham Drug Company. Oldtown, Me. The bottle measures 9" tall by 3" square. There are no chips, dings or cracks. Cork is in good condition and able to be removed. Ask questions, look at pix. Thanx for looking.

~ANTIQUE APOTHECARY CHEMICAL LABORATORY MEDICAL WHEATON GLASS BOTTLES LOT~ Up for bid is a nice 4 chemical glass bottle lot from the late 1800s to the early 20th Century from one of the great bottle companies of the era The Wheaton Glass Company. The T.C. Wheaton Company was started in 1888 by Dr. Theodore C. Wheaton. They started by making ampoules. Viles, and chemical bottles. In 1892 they expanded and started to produce perfume bottles, and in 1937 expanded again to accommodate the growing consumer demand. 1946 the Wheaton Glass Company started to delineate the different product lines. The company was sold to Algroup in 1996. The four heavy glass chemical bottles are: Acid Acetic, Ammonium Hydroxide, Barium Chloride, and Alcohol. The bottles have all been cleaned and there is no smell to the inside of the bottle. They are 8 inches tall ... morewith stopper, about 7 inches at the top of the neck and are 3 inches in diameter. The glass stopper is 2 ¼ inches long. The bottles have raised lettering of the Chemical name and compounds on the front. Three of the bottles have strings tied to the glass stopper and the neck of the bottle. On the bottom of the bottle it is stamped Wheaton, No-Sol-Vit, 5 U.S.A. The Alcohol and Barium bottles are stamped with the number 5, the Acid is stamped with the number 4, and the Ammonium is stamped with the number 3. There are no cracks, chips, breaks, or deep scratches. The overall condition of these Antique bottles is excellent for their age and use. Antique 11" Apothecary Jar/Bottle cylindrical/cork seal on glass stopper
This is a turn of the century apothecary jar which is 11" tall including the stopper and 4 3/4" in diameter with 3 1/4" stopper. Jar is heavy and sides are sturdy and thick with side marks as if made as"pressed glass" or in a mold' Stopper is interesting 1" thick and 3 1/4" in diameter There is an indented part on top of the stopper 1/4" deep and1 5/8" across. The plug part is 2 1/2" across and about 1/2" deep with a large indent also 1/2" in and 1 1/2" across. Around the edge of the plug/stopper part ther is a thin ring of cork which must have been glued on and there is about 1/4" part missing. Outside of jar has remnents of a label. This auction is for a Antique Apothecary jar/Bottle stand Owens-Illinois Glass Company Druggist Award. This is an interesting piece. The stand is 11" tall. It feels like aluminum. It is 23" tall to the top of the large glass stopper. There are some small nicks around the edge on the top where the stopper fits in. The main glass part is in good shape. Ther stopper has some flea bite nicks on the edge. There are paint splatters that will need to be cleaned off on this. I did not attempt any clean up on this, I will leave that to the high bidder. Early 1900's IPGCO Illinois Pacific Glass APOTHECARY Chemical BIG! Drug BOTTLE

The Illinois Paci fic Glass Co. was formed in 1902 when Illinois Glass consolidated its West Coast holdings and purchased the Abramson-Heunisch Glass Company. The company opened plants in San Francisco. Los Angeles, Portland, Seattle& Oakland. This 12" tall bottle has the original ground stopper and is marked. At the bottom, IPGCO within a diamond and the number 142 5. There are two mold marks and one large bubble(see photos 5& 6) Conditi on is very good. There are no nicks. Chips or cracks to either the jar or stopper. The glass is clear with a bit of hazing that I have not tried to clean. The top lip is smooth(see photo 3) with a few tiny ... morefleabites at the inner edge and at the edge of the stopper. There are typical swirls. Bubbles and straw marks. Measures 11" high to the lip. 12" high with the stopper& 5" in diameter at the base. Weighs just over 2 pounds prior to packing. Real Antique S.G. Wall Drug Store Bottle from the La Plata County town of Durango. Colorado. This apothecary jar is clear and says"S.G. Wall THE DRUGGIST" boldly embossed on the front within a tombstone shaped plate. It is a clear bottle in very good condition for it's age. There are some bubbles, which is natural and what appears to be a chip or a flaw on the inside of the neck of the bottle. There are no chips on the lip and it is very clear except for the bottom of the bottle, where there is some yellow residue. The bottom says"WT& CO, USA, Pat. Jan 5, 92" The bottle measures 4 3/8" x 1 3/4" x 1" Samuel G. Wall operated a drugstore in Durango from 1894-1915. Glass Apothecary Bottle with Amber Colored Top.Here is the story on this bottle. My husband's grandparents owned a pharmacy back in the 40's. They kept just about every bottle from their store. They have passed away and I have boxes of these bottles for the collector! I am not cleaning them. So they have been sitting for a long time. As you can see in picture number 6, there is a residue inside. It looks like some kind of dried herb. I don't know how to get it out and I'm just selling it as is.
