Antique Dovetailed Medical Dental Barber Shop Wood Sterilizer Cabinet Tagsale. Here is a wonderful item to add to your collection. The cabinet has dovetailed corner that is somewhat unusual. As most just have have plain made corners. It is in overall very good used condition. The only real issue or damage that it has is a dent. In the wood, that is on the left side. You can see it in the image below. The dent is about 1/2" long and about 1/8" wide. The paint is chipped a little all the way around it, and that makes it look a little bigger. I don't know the maker or the age. The dovetailed corners suggest that it may be from the early 1900's. Dovetailed corners are a sign of high qaulity craftsmanship as they were more time consuming to make. I have no idea when it was painted. But it is old paint. It doesn't look like ... morefreshly painted. The paint has a few stains scattered around on it. Basically how you see it in the images is how it is going to look when you get it. This woudl make a super nice addition to yoru collection! It has little wood slides that held shelfs. Probably made of glass, but the shelfs are missing. It has some paint chips all scattered all around but no damage to the wood. Except for the dent. The door works good and has a fixture to keep it closed. I am not for sure of the type of wood that was used. But it looks like walnut. The back is looks to be a piece of paneling. Weight: 7.6 lbs unpacked. This piece is extremely heavy so as not to fall off the desk onto the patient during the procedure. Excellent condition and running smoothly. This drill has 2 speeds on the model 11 motor. I can't say for sure that the high and low speeds work. It runs the same as far as I can tell with the way it sounds. I can't tell if the drill is spinning faster or not. The base has a plate on it that reads mount for SS White Electric Motor Laboratory Type. The base has a bit of corrosion on part of it. Pictured below. The arm is 4 pieces to accomodate about any angle or direction you need to get into for the procedure. There is a little bit of rust on the arms in a few places. Up for bid is this terrific Antique Caulk's Dental Cement Bottle. Plus it has the original cork, which is also in perfect condition. This is a Rare Find, you don't come across these every day! Manufactured at Turn of the 20th Century, Caulk's was one of the countries largest suppliers of Dental Supplies. This Clear Caulk's Bottle is Embossed on the Front, Caulk's Crown- Bridge And Gold Inlay Cement. The Base is Embossed with the Number 13 and the Back of the bottle is Indented, perhaps for a label. This Caulks Dental Cement Bottle is all of 1 1/4" tall, 1 1/4" wide at the Base and the Mouth is 7/8" wide. The condition is Excellent. No chips. Cracks, pings, dings or repairs. for auction. 100 percent original, original finish, milkglass, knobs, etc. all original. no added pieces or parts. outside of a high victorian harvard cabinet or two, the is the finest dental cabinet i have offered for sale out of my collection. it is signed american cabinet co. it is a great original piece in near mint condition. there is a small chip out of the milkglass on the back right hand corner. outside of that there are no issues whatsoever. on the top is an frosted etched drop down door that exposes a shelf with a board with many holes cut in it to hold various medicine bottles, the mirror behind it shows a bit of hazing. below is an original beveled mirror above the milk glass shelf. below is a cabint of consisting of 24 drawers or doors. the 17 drawers on the left all lock when the fourth drawer from the bottom left is pushed ... moreall the way in. this drawer has a lock but no key. i can probably get a key make for it for 10 or 15.00. the right hand side of 7 drawers or doors do not lock, one of these is a large door with a shelf inside that space. this is an early cabinet circa 1890 or so. it has all wooden drawer secondaries of maple i believe. the later versions had metal bottoms, backs, and sides to the drawers. many of the little dtawer or door components are still in place. i have pictured the drawers and doors open. it has a greenish black marble base streaked in white marble. very nice marble base, the best i have seen. anyway, it is 58 inches tall, 35 inches wide, and 12 inches deep. i am starting it for less than it cost 12 or 15 years years ago, but a bush and an obama and a house and senate that should probably all be in jail have place our economy in a pickle. outside of a very fancy victorian dental cabinet with exceptional carvings and peculiar form, you won't find a nicer one. shipping is at buyers expense. i will pay the shipping in the lower 48 states should someone do the buy it now option. it may also be picked up at my home. good luck.

Austin is located on the Western edge of Chicago.When these doctors were in practice, This piece was discovered by my mother inside a childrens book she bought.This is hand printed on a napkin type material.It most likely was displayed in a hotel to advertise the dentist and his services. You will note there is no phone number for his office. This no doubt was made before telephones were invented. Antique 19th Century Dental Instruments LOT of 42
There are 42 instruments in this lot. They are quite old. Possibly victorian, maybe earlier. They have no markings of manufacture of any kind. They are each quite beautiful and have a wonderfully aged patina. One of the tools looks to have been more recently filed and one has the very tip broken off. There are 5 thick ribbed handled tools that are just amazing. They range from 6" to 7 1/2" inches in length. I'm not an expert with dental instruments and know very little. Antique real human skull, articulated for medical or dental use
This skull was given to my husband. Who was a Neurosurgeon, by an older physician who used it in his own practice for many years. My husband, in turn, used it as a teaching aid until he retired 15 years ago. It has markings identifying the various boney structures, such as parietal, temporal, occipital, etc. It has partial dentition. On the floor of the skull can be seen the openings through pass the various blood vessels and nerves as well as the spinal cord. Also on the floor of the skull is inscribed the name of the owner.

So they resorted to daylight through the windows and this very rare spittoon, filling the bottom removable reservoir with water and using the hand pump for water to rinse the mouths of patients. Antique Unique Authentic Real Human Skull A rticulated Used For Dental Medical Teaching Articulated For Medical Use Up for Auction is this real skull used for teaching with metal dental work on teeth.SEE PICTURES This Skull is with springs that allow the jaw to go up and down using your hands to move the jaw. Also the mid section is cut across the skull. Holes pins with clamps hold it together( SEE PICTURES) the work is nicely done one clamp to hold the half section is missing so the past owner used a piece of wire to hold it together. I do not know what the dental work mat. Is on the teeth. It may be silver? The piece came from Cape Cod Mass, area. Please note that lots of work went into this skull and it is very rare to find a original skull with dental work like this type of work.This skull was worked on in the early times of dental work ... morearound 1870 to 1900 It is in excellent condition. I do not know if it is a man or woman. I never asked that question to the past owner.This skull was with the past owner for over 70 years and her father who got it from his father had this skull and used for Dental classes. This dental switch box is mounted onto its original mahogony cabinet. A rare find and a nice display. The dental swithbox was used to control and regulate power to any of several devices used in the dental exam room. Lighting. X-ray, drills and suction were all controlled by this"high tech" device. The exterior of the mahogony cabinet on this unit has been recently refinished. The wiring to the light bulb has been replaced.
