This is an insertion lace, meaning that both ... moreedges of the lace are straight and it was meant to be butted up against another piece of fabric or lace. On the edge of the lace(either side) there are tiny threads that can be pulled, when done, this lace can be shaped into ovals, circles, a scalloped hemline or even gathered into a ruffle. This lace has a pretty and delicate pattern, it measures 1/2" wide. When I was ironing this lace, I had sprayed starch on it and when it was damp, it touched another piece of pink fabric. There several spots of pink on this lace. I counted 3 areas of light pink and I've taken a photo of it, so you can assess the damage for yourself. It might wash out, but it might not, that being said there is still plenty of good usable lace here, as there is a total of 11-5/8 un-cut YARDS.that's a lot of lace for your sewing and crafting needs. Over the years this lace has softened to a soft, light beige. This old lace is well over 100 years old and to find this much un-cut yardage is hard to come by. Be sure to view my other lace auctions. According to some authorities. The actual Banjara lineage goes back to some 2000 years. They are said to be the descendants of the Roma gypsies of Europe who migrated to India through the rugged mountains of Afghanistan and finally settled down in Rajasthan. The colourful stream of the Banjaras began to travel down to the South in the 14th century. Two lengths of vintage Broderie Anglaise type floral cotton trim- with corners as you can see! I'm not sure what it would have decorated. But I am sure you clever crafters out there will be able to use it as it is very pretty with no stains to the fabric. Difficult to measure but it is approx 2.5m long and 4.5cm wide with a ruffled scalloped edging. The second piece is approx 1.15m long. Vintage Wicker w/Leather Trim Fishing Creel & Handy Pak Net w/Leather Holder
This is a Vintage Wicker Fishing Creel and a Vintage Pak Net Fish Net with a Leather Holder. The Wicker Fishing Creel has leather trim and has the leather harness and the leather strap with buckle closure is intact. The Creel has been used and has wear(see photos) There is a faint measurement ruler imprinted on the lid top on the trim. There is blue paint on the bottom of it. Spots of paint on the front and spots on the harness as well(see photos) I do not know if there is any way to remove the paint. Other than the paint. It is in pretty nice condition. It does need some cleaning. The fishing creel lid is approx 10 1/2" in length and approx 5 1/2" wide. The creel is approx 7" high on the back side(not including the lid) The bottom measures approx 14" long and 5 1/2" wide. Vintage Marshall Lead 12 Mini Stack Classic Marshall tone at manageable levels. Great for recording. Home playing, and smaller gigs. I am going to start off by saying I am a drummer and know little about guitar amps. I researched this amp online and this is what I came up with: This is a Vintage Marshall Lead 12 Mini Stack Guitar Amplifier. This is from the early to mid 90's. And made in England. It has a rare plexi trim. The amp is in excellent condition. No rips or tears in the speaker grill or cabinet fabric. This amp was actually used in a church. There is a little dust on the cabinets. I did not want to polish it I wasn't sure what the proper method of cleaning is. I tested the amp everything appears to work normally. I did notice some"scratchiness" when I adjusted the volume control but only while I was turning the ... moreknob it it went away after that. I was told by someone the pot needed to be cleaned. Some information I also found online: Don't be fooled by it's size. This little stack rocks a 12 watt head and two 10" Celestion cabs. You can use this head to drive other cabs like your 4x12 or your fender bassman cabinet etc. and you can also use the celestion cabinets as extensions for your fender blackface amps and such. You are getting such a variety of tonal possibilities if you think out of the box a little. great for recording. I did my best to describe this amp. The tablecloth is made primarily of a very finely woven. Pale ecru-colored linen. It is embellished with hand embroidery and very small cutwork squares filled with tiny decorative stitches. The cutwork decoration is primarily made of buttonhole stitches. The embroidery is done in a highly raised, curved style, executed in a very light taupe cotton thread. The elaborate, wide lace is highly detailed, and is formed from tightly woven threads, like a linen stitch. The tablecloth was part of a trousseau given to a woman by her Italian mother, who had brought it back from Italy for her prior to her wedding- the mother is now in a nursing home, and the daughter was thinning ... moredown herself, having moved into smaller housing. VINTAGE WOVEN WICKER JAPAN SEWING BASKET WOOD TRIM ++
Fantastic brightly colored woven wicker sewing basket. This was purchased in Japan in the early 1960's by a couple stationed there as missionaries at the time. It is very well made of brightly painted alternating colors of blue red white and tan colored wicker. With bamboo wood trim. Excellent design in excellent shape, the wicker is bright and intact with little wear. Handle wicker is clean and intact but needs a spot of glue on one end to prevent unraveling. The interior is fitted in red satin with a pin cushion top, base is a heavyweight cardbord. interior pin cushion shows use and some wear to the lining but very nice overall. Metal closure. This is an old piece. The urn/pitcher is greenish with pink and yellow roses with gold trim. It stands 10" high and 8 3/4" deep. At its widest part it is 6" wide. Its mouth is 3 3/4" I have had this for 25 years and I know my mother had it for about the same. She told me it was French. There are no markings on the base. No chips or cracks. Truly a beautiful item.
