Exquisite hand sewn salmon pink glossy pure silk satin(burn tested) jacket dating from the 1930s. Featuring shaped front; three-quarter length sleeves gathered at shoulder and cuff; cream Alencon lace trim; pink ribbon ties and bound edges. In great never worn condition ~ one miniscule spot stain to the back and a scuff hidden in the folds of one wrist area ~ and measuring 21" underarm to underarm and 23" at the longest point ~ about a size 12-14. Very rare to find in such great condition. Probably made for use as a bedjacket but ideal as an evening jacket. This is made by the same seamstress who made a very similar jacket I sold last week. Large Long Vintage Antique French Alencon Lace Table Runner 12" x 39-1/2" to start a new paragraph use- Very nice large and long Vintage French Alencon(machine lace) runner measuring 12 inches wide x 39-1/2 inches long. This is in very nice condition. There is one small flaw in the lace on the short edge where it has a minor separation which can be seen in the bottom of the first two photo's. The flaw is minor and if you wished could be completely hidden with a couple small stitches. Otherwise in good condition with no problems, this is untreated and has an overall patina, the edges with some faint tanning, but nothing detracting. This is constructed of a lace panel and edged in matching 1-1/2 inch lace trim on all 4 sides. I believe the threads are all cotton. Hello and welcome- Antique and vintage laces and trims. Mostly new, unused, some skillfully removed from a previous use. Use in making doll dresses, period costumes, lingerie, etc. dressed up bears. And more. All the laces and trims for sale are either in very good. New, unused vintage condition, or in used, but usable condition and have been examined for flaws, but, may need to be laundered, due to being stored and yellowed, or may have spots. There may be an occasional hole or tear. I will mention something if I notice it. I am not a lace expert- and may miss something occasionally. so. Suggestions welcome. My camera shoots everything a little cooler and paler than things really are. So the true colors are actually warmer and darker. Up for auction is a mixed lot of fine antique or vintage French net laces. All is silk and cotton. Or all ... moresilk. All is in good to excellent condition, with various degrees of aging, and an occasional spot and small hole. There are two similar pieces of hand worked Alencon lace, in very good condition, and a hand worked Tambour collar, too. The large piece of Chantilly is a rich golden blonde. It is very good, and sturdy enough to use in clothing. There is a fragile Chantilly of Peonies, in three rows, with evident wear. It is pure silk, but has condition issues, and is quite fragile. I wouldn't use it on clothing- just dolls or something that will be on display. A ruler in the photos to use for measuring scale. Look at photos carefully, for details. This is a very nice, varied collection. I am not an expert on fabrics or trims. But will do my best to answer any questions. I am always happy to combine shipping to save you money.
