It is very rare to find a William IV period table in burr walnut. As they were nearly always in mahogany, and this item is of superb quality. This card table has a rectangular swivel top and features superb hand-carving to the solid walnut base and around the top. The attention to detail on this piece is second to none. The table has an acanthus carved column and stands on cabriole legs with inset castors. Provenance: comes from a Country Estate in Dorset There is no mistaking its unique quality and design.
