18th CENTURY HEPPLEWHITE MAHOGANY INLAID CARD TABLE-SOUTH SHORE MASSACHUSETTS
LATE 18th CENTURY HEPPLEWHITE FIGURED MAHOGANY INLAID CARD TABLE ATTRIBUTED TO ABIEL WHITE WEYMOUTH MASSACHUSETTS With our compliments we are pleased to offer you this fine South Shore Massachusetts Circa 1780-90 Hepplewhite mahogany coca bola inlaid card table attributed to Abiel White of Weymouth. Massachusetts. It has semi eliptical top and base, a heavily crotched figured mahogany 4" apron with curved formed corners, three oval coca bola and satinwood inlaid panels, a fine inlaid coca bola& satinwood inlaid border running around the base of the apron and satinwood string inlay running around the leg blocks and the finely tapered legs. We noticed this piece was dry when it came in and gave it a feeding wax application before taking these photos so please excuse any shiny glare. This card table is 36" long, 17" wide and ... more29 1/2" tall. It has a hinged swing out back leg that supports the card table when its opened to its 34 1/2" width. There is an old professional repair to the surface of the table's top under the folding lid. It has a few light scratches that will fill in when we give it a tinted waxing and buffing. We just don't like to wax pieces until they are leaving the shop. We are constantly moving the shop around and the wax gets smudged when we have to pick up a waxed piece to move it. Lastly we noted a very small chip of wood gone near the left lower lid. We are sending this over to our woodworker for a splice that will be completely invisable. We have deep connections to the South Shore of Massachusetts and Weymouth. Abiel White was the decesendant of Mayflower passenger Perigreen White of Marshfield, Massachusetts. We are very proud to offer an Abiel White piece(we have only been able to find two in the last year) and we will see this piece gets the finest attention it deserves. As it stands right now this period card table is perfectly acceptable the way it stands but why not do a few hours of cosmetic work to make it simply perfect? We know you will appreciate i
American Queen Anne Birdcage Tilt Top Side Table, Connecticut, Late 18th Century
American Queen Anne Tilting Tea Table(Antique Side Table or Candlestand) Connecticut Connecticut River Valley. Late 18th Century Plain dish-molded top over birdcage support tenoned over a compressed-ball pillar terminating in triform snake feet Item# 130002YRW19 This is a fine American Queen Anne Antique Tea Table crafted during the last quarter of the 18th Century. Probably in the Connecticut River Valley. Of wonderful form and proportions, this very attractive piece is pure and relatively undisturbed, the finish being the only change over the last two centuries. Characterized by simplicity and a compression of lines, the design carefully balances the visual weight of the spherical top and oversized birdcage by squeezing the baluster as close to the legs as possible, perfectly dividing the mass of the table away from the midriff. The top ... moreis a work of art. Crafted of two solid Cherry boards joined nearly seamlessly, it was lathe-turned patiently and with great risk to the craftsman to produce a raised molded edge of the solid. The cleats are affixed to the underside of the top with symmetrically spaced original and undisturbed screws, these flanking the birdcage box structure that allows the top to spin freely. The birdcage is crafted with complex and possibly unusual construction, four baluster turned pedestals joined into the square(unidentified, possibly pine) softwood top and through the cherry bottom, the latter tenons wedged with splints for a pressured joint. Four iron bars penetrate at an angle down through the top and are twisted under the bottom, giving incredible strength and permanence to this delicate structure. An original clasp on the underside of the top still perfectly grasps the latch on the birdcage, both undisturbed with original screws still securing each(one later screw added to the clasp due to a loss at one corner) The solid cherry pedestal joins through the birdcage. Tapering as it penetrates the structure and is secured in a hollow in the top of the structure, joined with a wedged

One side of the drop leaves as a slight typical warping. This does not effect the use of this table. Its top surface in this spot is still level. These wide board maple planks are susecptable to these issues when the table was stored in varying climates over the last few hundred years. Usually this happens very early in the life of these 16" wide plank maple tables. ... moreThis is a wonderful Vermont table with a rich history of a family that lived in East Fairlee for over a century. It is 49" long, 16" wide folded down, 57" long with the leaves locked up on its wooden hand carved finger jointed hinges and stands 28" tall. Someone installed caster wheels on this table around the last 19th century which have been removed. If you desire these wheels which will make the table an inch taller we will be delighted to reinstall a super quality set of brass casters or we will plug the bottoms of the legs as it as originally made. American Maple 18th Century Tilt Top Table 1750-1790
What a great looking table we have here. We are estimating between 1750- 1790 and we think it's on the earlier end of that due to the blacksmith construction of the catch(latch) Iron leg tie, and handforged nails. There has been obvious repairs to the legs and it appears that the feet have been shortend. Also seems to have been painted red at one point and black at someother time. This would lead us to believe it's not the original finish.however it looks pretty close to original. Measures 31.75" round and 27.5" high. We can ship this item at the new owners expense or local pick up is always available. Please ask questions or provide any insight you might have. ANTIQUE 18TH CENTURY FRENCH COUNTRY KITCHEN DROP LEAF HARVEST TABLE Very nice early kitchen table with drop leaves resting on pullout rails above a single drawer. You can raise one or both leaves at a time. Tables like this were used to make daily dough on busy kitchens. But today it can serve the purpose of a kitchen table in a small cottage or even a dining table if you have no dining room– when leaves are open you can serve up to 8-10 people and when leaves ... moreare down it takes up minimal floor space. This table was carefully restored, when we did our best trying to preserve it’s original patina and time marks on the top are clearly seen. Because it is solid wood it was much easier to remove them and make this table like new. But we are museum quality restorers, not refinishers. Table is jointed with wooden pegs; uneven. Hand cut dovetails on the drawer and the way how it was constructed, along with early, rusted through nails makes us believe that it is a very old item, dating back to early 19th- late 18th century, but due to the provincial nature of this piece of furniture it just cannot be identified for sure and an exact date of its creation is unknown. It is a quality made item, well build and precisely fit, only three solid pieces of lumber were able to make it 42“ wide, which means that it’s wood came from about 300 years old tree; you will not able to find lumber this wide in stores anymore– all old trees are under protection of the French government now, hence they were almost all gone in 18-19 centuries, when France was producing only solid wood furniture. Because this table is only 28 ½” tall it might feel inc

French or Continental Neoclassical Antique "Vide Poche" Side Table, 18th Century
French Neoclassical"Vide Poche" Antique Side Table or Candle Stand Late 18th Century. Walnut(primary) Oak(secondary) with Satinwood Inlay Item# 130001NBU27 This is a wonderful little table. A French Neoclassical Antique Side Table crafted of solid walnut during the last quarter of the 18th Century in France. Known as a vide poche. Literally translating"empty pocket" this form is often stationed by the door, designed with a small stretcher tray for holding the keys, wallet and other pocket contents. The top has a satinwood inlaid diamond highlighting it's otherwise plain rectangular form, a small drawer with a chased-brass knob sliding out to reveal two square compartments on either corner. The left has an original tiny hand forged hinge that allows it to lift to reveal a space inside. The right compartment is hollowed ... moreand empty, possibly either to contain a candle or an inkwell(though no ink residue is visible inside the drawer) Crafted of solid oak secondary woods, the drawer is hand dovetailed front and back, nailed from the bottom into rabbets on the sides. The table is raised on pierced lier supports. These tenoned into oak rails beneath the table with two original and two replaced steel screws securing it from beneath. The strings are formed with brass tubes that tenon through the top and into the base. It has a scooped tray stretcher at the base and rests over bowed legs. The interior is stamped by it's maker. TARPIN BREMAT ALYON" possibly"ALION" A simply gorgeous work of art. Crafted with utmost precision and remaining in excellent condition despite it's fragile and thin profile. It is a wonderful find for any serious collector of 18th Century French antiques or for a decorator looking for a gorgeous 18th Century side table for interior design. Measurements: 13" wide x 11 1/4" deep x 22 5/8" high Condition Report: Early finish with deep patina- probably not original. Foot is cracked and repaired with a dowel from beneath. Two original steel scre
Rare Late 18th Century Georgian Chippendale Octofoil Tilt Top Birdcage Tea Table
Click for a slideshow of detailed pictures! Rare Georgian Chippendale Mahogany Tilting Tea Table England. Late 18th Century Octofoil top carved with fruit& foliage over fluted pedestal. Cabriole legs with acanthus carved knees terminating in ball and claw feet. Item# 120109PTE08 This is a rather rare form. Carved in the manner of Frederick Hintz tables, though absent of any brass inlay noteworthy in his works. The top is octofoil in form, featuring eight shallow dish spaces circling a large central dish space. A table of this form would typically be used as a dinner table, not for tea due to the oversized nature of the dished valleys in the top. Formed from a single piece of mahogany, crafting something of this nature was exceedingly difficult and likewise exceedingly expensive in the 18th Century. A work of this nature would be found ... moreonly in the finest London homes. Evidence of how it was formed is still visible in the piece, as you carefully look at the centermost point of each circular form- note the scar where the craftsman anchored his lathe to shave the perfect circle with raised molding. Each dish space is flanked by fruit carvings, each unique and different from the next- note the incredible crispness of each fruit, the attention to even the smallest details leaving identification of each fruit relatively easy: cherries, blackberries, raspberries, strawberries, and plums. The table twists freely a full three-hundred and sixty degrees on the birdcage mechanism. Formed of four columns that through-taper the top and bottom, between which the shaft of the pillar comes through and is locked on with an angular through-wedge. This wedge is easily removed, allowing the entire top to lift off of the pedestal. The pedestal shaft is turned and tapers broader towards the bottom, deep stop-fluting around the entire shaft. Three cabriole legs dovetail into the center of the pedestal, exposed from beneath and actually formed such that no three-way bracket was necessary to lock the legs permanently in place. The kn

English George III Chippendale Late 18th Century Mahogany Tilting Side Tea Table
Very Fine English Chippendale Period Highly Figured Mahogany Slipper Foot Tilt Top Tea Table Third quarter of the 18th Century. C. 1750-70 Item# 110005LHP25 The grace of this piece is found in the highly figured top. A single solid plank of mahogany hand planed carefully to create a perfect smooth surface. A glowing deep patina shines through the years of waxed layers preserving the entire piece. Hand carved fully original cleats connect the top to the base, with four hand made screws that appear to be original, and two later replaced screws attaching the cleats to the original top. A replaced brass catch on the underside of the table top functions fully to secure the table in a resting postion; the shape of the original brass catch was circular, still evident as an impression around the current catch. The pedestal tenons through the square ... morebase. With the letters"DL" still visible at the tenon and in photos below. These could possibly be a signature of the craftsman who designed this table. The pedestal is carefully turned shaft culminates in a vasiform baluster, the three legs locking into the shaft with tight dovetail joints. The cabriole leg form is tight and sprung, the table almost poised to leap; the lines curve down and terminate in sharp well formed oval slipper feet. This is a fine piece for any home. Working easily in any number of design scenarios. In the upward tilted position, it is ideal to bring beauty to that empty corner or fill a long wall with two chairs on either side. Naturally, it functions wonderfully as a tea table or common side table, bringing elegance to any collection of furnishings. In very fine condition, with a deep glowing patinated finish and in a well preserved state, this is an outstanding find for the collector and designer alike. Measurements: Top measures 26 1/2" wide(along the grain) x 26" wide(across the grain- the 1/2" difference would be from shrinking across grains over time) 41 1/2" high in tilted position. 27" high in rested position;

18TH CENTURY NEW ENGLAND TAVERN TABLE, 1 PLANK PINE TOP, ALL ORIGINAL
This great early American 18th century tavern table is one of three pieces from a local Massachusetts home. All which were in original untouched condition. All we have done to this table due to the years of grime were to lightly clean and oil it. It has a 1 board pine oval top on a splay leg maple/cherry(not sure) base. All peg construction. The pegs on the stretcher are exposed and beautifully intact. The top and base are guaranteed original to each other and not married pieces. The top has a lovely rich patina and signs of character from years of use. There are random marks along the edges of both sides due to sewing birds being attached to the table. The table top measures 36" long and 27" wide. It is 24 3/4" tall. The legs are positioned 21 3/4" x 16 1/2" apart to the outside of each leg. American Queen Anne Serpentine Top Tilting Antique Tea Table, Late 18th Century
Fine American Queen Anne Serpentine Top Tilting Tea Table In the manner of Joseph Short(1771-1819) Probably North Shore. Massachusetts- possibly Connecticut Item# 130006RUP13 Possibly by Joseph Short(1771-1819) of Newburyport. MA or a contemporary during the same period, this fine American Queen Anne Tilting Top Tea Table is an unusually attractive specimen. The top is an incredibly broad single plank of Birch with a molded edge carved of the solid in a soft reverse serpentine. Generally these tops are of at least two boards, sometimes with a small third board making up the edge- to be crafted of a full single plank and still maintain the original cleats and smooth function is quite a feat; shrinking and expanding can often have dire consequences on the cleats, resulting in a top that is either cracked or too compressed against the square ... morehead of the pedestal to be functional. Surviving in excellent condition. The table maintains it's original untouched cleats, mostly original screws, original brass latch(and period replaced clasp on the square head of the pedestal) and original tri-form iron bracket beneath the feet. The square pedestal head is a block of cherry chamfered along the underside, the pedestal tenoned through it in a square. The solid cherry pedestal is robust with a wonderful swollen baluster beneath tight ring turnings and over three cabriole legs that terminate in raised pad feet. The legs intersect with the base in soft scalloping that works to soften the flow of the joint, these joining into the pedestal with large dovetails. Finished with a glossy and attractive wax over shellac. The worn and oxidized patina of the wood maintains it's preserved glow and character. This is an exceptional piece for serious collectors of American antique furniture. Measurements: 31 3/8" x 31" top width/height; 24 5/8" from foot to foot Condition Report: Fine mellow refinish. Cleats original and untouched. Mostly original hand filed screws still securing these to the underside of the table wi
18th CENTURY SPLAY LEGGED TABLE STOOL STAND AS IS
Here is the battered remains of an early 1700's splay-legged stand which I also found at a local estate tag sale. I wasn't paying attention to the adds. And this was all that was left on the second day of the sale. There had been several pieces of pre-Revolutionary War era furnishings! The feet have been worn right off and even some of the all original box stretcher base is worn off. There are signs of old worm activity(not extensive or any current) Each of the four corners of the tops of the legs and aprons have metal bracing that is probably over 100 years old, and there is evidence of even older repairs- like a big ugly screw, and an added wood brace nailed with a rose-headed nail(picture 6) The top is probably a very old replacement. It is attached with two forged nails and two round nails, and when it is pulled off, one can see ... morethe top was off many times during it's life. I think all the wood is oak, or maybe some is hickory. It is sturdier than it looks, and is very heavy. It feels almost petrified. It was still in use holding a stoneware lamp next to a family room couch! It measures a little over 18" tall; the top is about 12" square. The top of the base(under the table top) is approximately 9" square, splaying down to the bottom stretcher base which is a little over 12" square. I will brace and double box very carefully.

Queen ann Cherry deep drop leaf table 18th Century
Good original condition table. In storage. Swing legs. good finish. some wear and tear but it's an early american antique!
English William & Mary 18th Century Antique Gate Leg Drop Leaf Breakfast Table
William and Mary Period Oval Gate Leg Breakfast Table Late 18th Century. England; one leaf replaced, feet probably replaced. Item# 120008SMT11 This is a table of unusual form with a simply gorgeous oval oak top. Each section of two solid golden oak boards covered with a wonderful wax finish, the leaves lifting to flush on ruled joints. The leaves have original 18th century hand forged hinges, though we suspect at least one of the leaves is replaced(see notes below in condition) The frame is pinned tenon-mortise construction over intensely ring-turned legs, each stretched permanently by a box-form stretcher, from which the gating leg on either side swings freely on a through-dowel peg. The legs swing very easily and smoothly to support the leaves, each with the correlating scrape marks underneath. It is an excellent piece to match any Colonial ... moreinspired decor. While having an overall petite proportion that is very desirable in a table of this nature. This is not a museum quality work in light of the feet and leaves, but is an outstanding find for the designer and anyone looking for a deeply patinated colonial table for a rustic interior- in wonderful condition for a work crafted over 250 years ago, this will be cherished in your home functionally and decoratively. Measurements: closed) 15" deep x 33 1/4" wide x 27 1/2" high(open) 44" deep x 33 1/4" wide x 27 1/2" high Condition Report: 1. Finish is well preserved beneath a later wax finish- the finish beneath the wax is very early. Probably not original 2. Feet are possibly replaced- they are affixed to the legs. But have a very natural wear- however, the softwood(presumably pine) nature of the feet also suggests possible early replacement 3. Drop leaves are possibly replaced; at least one is certainly a replacement. Note the second cut for an earlier hinge and the slight mismatch between hinge size and cut slot. The leaves are both certainly 18th century, and there could be an argument made that the empty cut slot was simply a mistake

18th Century~Antique Carved Pine Pioneer Wood FARM Table~Side Slots~Cabin~Lodge
This is a fabulous Antique. Handmade, 1800's*Carved/Sculpted WOOD Table* I purchased this many years ago at an antique store. And it's been one of my favorite tables. Not only a fabulous table that will fit just about anywhere, but very functional, as it has the top and lower shelf, and on both ends, it has wood slots, that you can push in or out, and is perfect for holding magazines, books, letters, remotes, or other things. They also slide up and down, and have a lovely hand-cut out pattern in the centers. see photos) A super sturdy table. No wobble whatsoever. Will last for many more generations! All very well glued together. As they made them back than. I believe this is made of beautiful PINE Wood. The wood measures approx. 3/4" thick. The legs are beautifully hand-carved. Many people like antiques in their original condition. ... moreAs this is, or you could sand it down and give it a new finish. You could put a pretty table runner or tray on the top if you wanted to, as it does show more age/use marks on top than on the rest of it. A great table from days gone by for next to a chair, an entryway, by the bed or sofa, hallway, just anywhere. Would be a beautiful table in a Cabin or Lodge also. It measures 11 1/2" front to back(deep) X 25 1/2" wide X 25 1/2" tall. A fabulous Antique*Hand Carved PINE Wood Table* Payment preferred at auction end. But due within 24 hours* Shipping charge listed is for lower 48 U.S. only*No P.O. Boxes*Will be happy to combine shipping for multiple auctions if it can be done with this table! Fine American Chippendale Antique Card Table, Pennsylvania 18th Century c 1760
Fine American Chippendale Mahogany Card Table over Marlborough Legs Pennsylvania c. 1775-1785 in nearly untouched condition Primary Woods: Mahogany[tops. Primary case, legs, molding] Secondary Woods: Golden Oak[gate leg frame] Yellow Pine[back board of frame, runners, interior blocking] Cedar[triangular blocks under drawer bottom] Poplar[drawer sides and bottom] Item# 130108MWT12 This is an exceptional work of art. An American Chippendale Mahogany Card Table from Pennsylvania circa the last quarter of the 18th Century, likely crafted between 1775-85. The table is remarkably well preserved, almost entirely untouched other than regular maintenance of the finish through periodic and regular waxing- the finish beneath is possibly not original, or at least partially restored, but is very early and highly patinated. Every aspect of the table is ... moreoriginal, including the highly delicate C-Scroll returns that flank each leg- these are replaced or damaged with high frequency due to their precarious nature, particularly the left rear bracket, as this is only secured at the table frame and does not attach to the gating leg. Clearly the table remained in one area without being moved or roughly handled for much of it's life. The top is crafted of broad solid planks of mahogany. Each just under an inch thick and spanning the entire depth of 17 3/4" without a second board. The figure is warm and flowing, a rich pudding surface that is even more evident on the cleaner"game" surface. The top lifts over original hinges to rest on the gating back leg, this crafted with golden oak making up both ends of the knuckled board, tenoned into the rear left leg and pinned with two wooden pegs. A single drawer pulls out from the front with an outstanding Rococo pair of brasses, likely imports from England and fully original, the edge of the drawer lined with a thin cockbead molding to give shape to the drawer. The drawer is framed with poplar secondaries, the deeply chamfered bottom sliding into rabbets along the sides with

IMPORTANT 18TH CENTURY COASTAL MAINE MAHOGANY ROPE CARVED WORTH TABLE
18TH CENTURY COASTAL MAINE MAHOGANY SHERATON ROPE CARVED WORK TABLE-SAMUEL SEWALL CIRCA 1785 With our absolute thrill we are proud to bring you one of the most special work table we have seen in a very long time. This true late 18th Century solid cuban mahogany coastal(now Southern) Maine work table is. In our opinion attributable to Samuel Sewall. This is simply the best example of this school of furniture making. It has four robust turned carved legs that gives it a stout handsome presence and defines it with a very charming colonial American technique of carving that incorporates a technique of the larger city furniture making disciplines with a almost primitive technique of the earlier Coastal Maine mahogany pieces. This one just shredded all of our opinions and caused a very heated debate. Just everything is fabulous on this table. The ... moreonly negative and we are not going to make any apologies or excuses for it are two plugs crudely, but charmingly applied to fill the key holes. Why? We can't guess. If that bothers you just pop them out and reset two simple half mortise locks back in the channels. We are just not going to touch it or anything about it. For those of you who follow us you'll note work tables are something of a specialty of ours. This is one of the best we have had in years in the category that gets our hearts racing. This specimen has a fabulous first finish and untouched so pure first surface. A true 18th Century New England gem! We are seriously considering reducing costs, energy, and assets by obviating Important American Furniture sales and just doing it all right here. We will see. So far we have just met the most wonderful and educated collectors here and we can't see why that won't just get better. Its solid Cuban mahogany top is cut employing fabulous crotched mahogany figuring. It has its original lock and refreshing touched very little. Cut that cost out and give incentives to buy here with streamlined sales, reasonable prices& rapid shipping safe shipping methods of fine period pieces. This is every ounce of a $3,000- $5,000 piece in the proper sales setting with noted condition. We are offering it for about a third of its bottom number. OLD Antique Flame Mahogany American Games Table 18th C on Mid Century Base
This is a marriage of a very old beautiful table top and mid century base and legs. The top of table is amazing. It believe it is flame mahogany. There was some type of apron around the bottom edge that has been removed. As you can see there is a huge patina difference where it was. The bottom of table has never been stained. There is a mid century base that has been added to make it a coffee table height. I am not a furniture expert. But I estimate the table top to be 18th or early 19th C. The base and legs are 1950's or 60's. Table is about 35 inches across. I think it is just two mirror image boards. There is a partial age crack that is lighter colored on the bottom, but It does not go all the way across. You can't see it at all on the top. The table is in very good to excellent condition with some minor wear as shown. I have ... moretaken several close ups for your consideration. There are also a couple of small knots in the bottom of table. They are not on the top. I see no shadow of where a base would have been in the middle. This is a mystery table.Very interesting! If you know about furniture, I would like to hear your opinion of the age of the table top. What do you think?

18th Century Antique Italian Gilt and Painted Wall Mount Bracket Console Table
this is an 18th century.I believe early 18th century.Wall mount Bracket type Console. It is in original finish.that appears to be almost a faux tortoise shell with hand etched and gilded ribbons over it.The painting is done over a gesso.and there are cracks and some missing piece of the finish.it is ALL original and OLD. This is the real deal. It does NOT have it's original marble top.and is being sold without a top. The actual top of the pieces could be waxed up and used as it is.it has a wonderful OLD patina.and you can see the mortised construction in the top. Check out all of the pictures of this REAL antique piece. I'm pretty sure it's made in Italy.and I am sure it's 18th Century. The construction is really great.and I have tried to show the"insides" so you can see how it's put together. It does have two ... morepieces of new wood attached to the back that come with matching pieces that you mount on the wall.and then just sit this into.for easy(and safe) hanging. GREAT foyer piece.it's 42" long and 20 1/2" deep.and it's height is 26"and can be hung however high you'd like the surface to be.Would look great with a gilded mirror over it. NOTE: This piece is in original"AS FOUND" 18th century condition.it is NOT a new reproduction.look at pictures.and examine losses.I consider it great condition for age.but be your own judge. A marble top could be cut fairly reasonably if you choose that route.or it would be more"modern" with a mirrored top.or a"marbelized top"or as I mentioned.it's great as is.seeing it's"construction" and age. LATE 18TH/EARLY 19TH CENTURY NY STATE SHERATON PERIOD MAHOGANY WORK TABLE
LATE 18TH CENTURY/EARLY 19TH CENTURY NEW YORK SHERATON PERIOD MAHOGANY WORK TABLE With our compliments we are pleased to offer you this sweet clean late 18th to early 19th century period New York Sheraton period two drawer work table. This is a great work table and reasonably priced bargain for entry level collectors not ready yet for the hefty prices of more significant work tables. It is executed in a boldly grained crotched mahogany. Cherry and sap woods with great grain accents. This piece has some typical old but stable seasoning cracks on its top and reverse panels otherwise, and we make no apology or excuses for this(its a very typical issue with wide plank old growth furniture planks) It stands on four squared off legs with intricate turnings. It is 21 1/2" long, 17 1/2" wide and 29" tall. RECENT NEGATIVE FEEDBACK NOTICE* ... moreWe knew this was an eventuality as seller’s operating at the level we are. Seller’s have very few rights on the eBay sales platform except to pay thousands in fees each month& tolerate it. Nevertheless this still remains one of the safest ways there is for both buyers and sellers to interact. We have been recently victimized by an extortionist and will not dignify his remarks. We can only dispute this situation with the following: If we paid this person several thousand dollars he would remove his negative feedback and this person is required to register with the police in any community he may reside in. We are not strangers to many of you. We are deeply disturbed over this sad event& there isn’t much else we can do about it until we can obtain some judicial relief. Thank you for your understanding. Antique Georgian Mid 18th Century Brass Inlaid Mahogany Tripod Table
A very good quality mid 18th century tilt top tripod table. With a one piece top, wrythen turned column, and brass inlaid feet. There are plenty of Georgian tripod tables that loosely fall into the category of mid range furniture, this one is much better than most. If anyone is seriously looking for a tilt top table this one is worth consideration. It is made from very good Cuban or Spanish mahogany, the top is cut from one plank. It measures 31 inches across and is still probably as flat as when it was finished, with good figure and in virtually unmarked condition. Like most furniture it has no makers mark, the feet are inlaid with brass, a nice bit of added detail. The only maker I know that inlaid brass into tables like this is Frederick Hintz, maybe whoever made this had seen his work. Overall height is aprox. 28 inches, general condition ... moreis very good, the legs and the base are solid, there has been some repair here. There is a very old metal plate to one foot, see images) I suspect one of the legs got broken, but the repair is good. The block and catch are good, there are some old worm flight holes here, this has been treated just to make sure. The finish is just wax, I have not French polished it. This is for collection only from the Diss area of Suffolk. IP22 2PS or arrange collection by carrier. I will get it ready for transport. English Antique Mahogany Pembroke Table, George III c. 18th Century 1790-1800
CHEST OF DRAWERS ANTIQUE CHAIRS TABLES BRONZE SCULPTURES FINE PAINTINGS SCHOOL OF ORIGIN SUBJECT LAMPS. LIGHTING ENGLISH GEORGE III INLAID MAHOGANY PEMBROKE TABLE Fine polished surfaces. Entirely original hardware, c. 1790-1800 Item# 130011MIP03 This is a fine English George III Period Inlaid Mahogany Pembroke Table c. the last quarter of the 18th Century. Crafted from solid mahogany and mahogany veneers. Everything about this fine table speaks quality and attention to detail. The craftsmanship is impeccable, the construction precise and the wood of most choice quality for pristine presentation. The large rectangular top becomes ovular when the demilune leaves raise over their original iron hinges to rest on a pair of wings that swing out from the frame of the table on either side, resulting in a large and brilliant cognac mahogany surface ... moreedged by satinwood inlay. The ribbed and glowing quality of the mahogany cannot be underscored enough. A single drawer resides in the frame beneath the projecting top; the drawer is framed with cockbead molding and is hand dovetailed in the usual manner. Utilizing secondary oak woods to make up the frame for the drawer, the bottom board protected beneath runner strips and tacked with four iron brads along the back edge. The lock is probably original, though we have not removed it to be certain, the key now absent. On the other side of the table, the wood is crafted to create the illusion of a drawer where one does not exist. Flanking the drawer and faux-drawer are satinwood veneered panels surrounded by stringer inlay, the apron of the table lined in a thick satinwood border that completes the square profile of the table top. Resting over four square tapering legs. The table terminates on bright and original brass caster feet. The underside of the structure remains untouched, the iron rose head nails affixing the underside of the dustboard to the frame of the table with a pair of corner blocks securing the legs behind the faux-drawer. Worth noting is the need for a screw for

Queen Anne Tilt Top Tea Table with Bird Cage Late 18th Century
There is no reserve on this lovely antique Queen Anne tilt top tea table with bird cage from the late 18th century. I believe this table is maple. It is 24 1/2 inches high. The top is out of round and measures 17 5/8 inches in one direction and 17 3/8 in another. This happens with shrinkage due to the age of the table. There is a hand made wooden peg that holds the bird cage in place. Table tilts easily and locks in position. It is in excellent condition. Price includes shipping and insurance in the lower 48.
