A Stunning customized work of art.African Mahogany Nightstand/Side Table. Circa 1910-1920 A bit of history of 1920.this table could very well have been ... moreowned by a"flapper girl" Woodrow Wilson was President of the United Staes. Prohibition was in place, the Model"T" Ford was a popular selling car, women were allowed to vote for the first time in the general election, many people built there homes from"kit homes" from companies such as Sears&Roebuck, this table could well have been in a room with the famous"Davenport" couch and a Player piano near by. I fully restored this table and added the beautiful diamond inlay on the top Made from spectacular grained& figured solid mahogany and African mahogany veneers.Finely crafted by the Kiel Furniture Company.Kiel Manufacturing Company was first located in the town of Kiel. Wisconsin.Their name changed to Kiel Furniture Company in 1907.They set up a fine furniture shop in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. They operated in Milwaukee from 1910-1935.A notable detail of this table is the Kiel Furniture Company logo, branded on the drawer bottom(see photo)The logo is in excellent condition and easy to read. The mahogany veneer on the top required replacement. I customized the top with the wonderful diamond inlay that features multiple woods. The curvaceous Queen Anne Cabriole legs with pad feet are superb. The graceful curves on the side, front and back make for a great look. This piece is restored and finished on all 4 sides. The small drawer with its mahogany period knob adds tons of character. The drawer slides like silk. The drawer sides and back are maple. I hand finished this entire piece with many. Many coats of hand rubbed varnish, including the inside of the drawer. The gorgeous grains are showcased with the superb hand rubbed finish, you can see and feel the texture and highlights of the African Mahogany. Solid as a rock. Ready to place and enjoy.Of course, like any fine antique this piece has character marks such as tiny nicks, and mino

Probably c. 1740-60 Item# 130002KJJ18 This is an absolutely wonderful find for serious collectors of Period Georgian English furniture- an original George II Period Lowboy Dressing Table crafted during the middle of the 18th Century. Almost certainly between the years of 1740-60. A pure piece with no adjustments or alterations, this is a very fine selection for purists and those with a preference for utmost quality in their collection. The projecting top was reset during the 20th Century, probably the same time it was refinished in a brilliant french polish, the molded edge scalloped on both front corners to give great shape to a simply gorgeous single solid plank of golden mahogany. The front and sides of the case are joined into the legs with a glued tenon joint. ... moreAll three being single solid boards with gorgeous grain selections. The front apron is scroll cut with magnificent and highly robust form, giving emphasis to the bold projection of the cabriole knee, the resulting empty space purely architectural in form. Three small drawers slide smoothly in and out of the case above this apron, each dovetailed at the front beneath cockbead molding, the backs and bottoms of the drawers nailed with small rows of iron nails. The brasses on each drawer are replaced, though correct for the period. Stretching from the top to the top. The legs are crafted of a highly complex single plank of wood, transitioning from the square corners into the bold cabriole leg before terminating in pointy slipper feet. The back legs are octagonally chamfered. Lending a squareness and masculinity to the overall form of the table. The back of the case is a single solid plank of oak, the interior secondary structure mostly pine with some oak- it is complex interior structure, a series of pine battens nailed perpendicular to the case on both sides and doubly in the center, one with an original rosehead nail visible. This form was originally designed as a dressing tabl
American Queen Anne Birdcage Tilt Top Side Table, Connecticut, Late 18th Century
American Queen Anne Tilting Tea Table(Antique Side Table or Candlestand) Connecticut Connecticut River Valley. Late 18th Century Plain dish-molded top over birdcage support tenoned over a compressed-ball pillar terminating in triform snake feet Item# 130002YRW19 This is a fine American Queen Anne Antique Tea Table crafted during the last quarter of the 18th Century. Probably in the Connecticut River Valley. Of wonderful form and proportions, this very attractive piece is pure and relatively undisturbed, the finish being the only change over the last two centuries. Characterized by simplicity and a compression of lines, the design carefully balances the visual weight of the spherical top and oversized birdcage by squeezing the baluster as close to the legs as possible, perfectly dividing the mass of the table away from the midriff. The top ... moreis a work of art. Crafted of two solid Cherry boards joined nearly seamlessly, it was lathe-turned patiently and with great risk to the craftsman to produce a raised molded edge of the solid. The cleats are affixed to the underside of the top with symmetrically spaced original and undisturbed screws, these flanking the birdcage box structure that allows the top to spin freely. The birdcage is crafted with complex and possibly unusual construction, four baluster turned pedestals joined into the square(unidentified, possibly pine) softwood top and through the cherry bottom, the latter tenons wedged with splints for a pressured joint. Four iron bars penetrate at an angle down through the top and are twisted under the bottom, giving incredible strength and permanence to this delicate structure. An original clasp on the underside of the top still perfectly grasps the latch on the birdcage, both undisturbed with original screws still securing each(one later screw added to the clasp due to a loss at one corner) The solid cherry pedestal joins through the birdcage. Tapering as it penetrates the structure and is secured in a hollow in the top of the structure, joined with a wedged

This table, with it's wonderful dimensions and ... morefine lines, clearly would have been a desirable piece in most households of the period. Originally this table would have been painted. Evidence still in the corners and crevices of a white paint that may have been the original color. Fine English Queen Anne "Concertina Action" Antique Card Game Side Table c. 1740
English George II Period Flip Top Concertina Action Card& Console Table Very fine condition. C. 1730-50, featuring almost entirely original hardware(chairs not included) Item# 110106IPP18 This listing is for a George II Period Queen Anne Solid Mahogany Card Table. Circa 1730-50. It features a single solid board top of highly figured mahogany, with turrets on each corner flanking a serpentine center form. This opens easily over two original brass hinges, each locking to either side with small brass hand made original screws, worn smooth from years of use. The rear legs extend using a concertina action mechanism to allow the rear legs to reach out in a perfect square. Forming a full card table for the center of a room. Each hinge within the concertina mechanism appears to be original, with some replaced screws on the innermost hinges. The ... moresecondary framing is oak, creating strength in all portions of the mechanism to allow it to last. When the legs are pulled out, a small shelf and box are visible. This shelf has a carved handle, allowing you to carefully pull it along routed lines towards the rear legs, effectively locking the legs in a perfect square while also revealing a convenient space for game pieces. The box is hand dovetailed front and back, and both shelf and box are entirely oak construction. We will note that great care must be shown while pulling this shelf out, to not jam it or otherwise damage the concertina action- this is an incredibly special piece, in that the concertina action has been very well preserved; these are delicate mechanisms and they must be protected by carefully operating them. When the top is rested carefully over the opened legs. A card surface is revealed with a replaced broad clean blue leather. It is framed in gilt painted tooling wrapping around the perimeter. At each corner, a glowing mahogany turret and scoop for game pieces break the surface. Both opposing turrets feature brass inset candleholders, threaded to accept a candle or oil lamp fixture without fear of being

American Queen Anne Tilting Candle Stand Side Table, Rhode Island or CT c. 1790
American Queen Anne Tilt Top Candle Stand(Side Table) Probably Federal Period. Rhode Island or Connecticut c. 1790-1810 Item# 130003UHU16 This is one of the most pleasing forms we've had the opportunity to carry in some time. The top is crafted of an octagonal solid plank of mahogany. The edges squared and rigid, the glowing grains of a parallel nature to not distract from the overall form of the table. Tilting over the doweled head of the pedestal, this flanked by chamfered cleats with original hand filed iron screws in each, the table locks in a rested position with it's original clasp and catch hardware- both are undisturbed and hold the table for a firm surface. The turned pedestal is the finest part of this table, divided into carefully calculated scratched-bead bands amongst ring turnings, focused primarily over the swollen ... moreturned baluster. The legs are some of the most delicate and well carved we've seen on a table of this form, joining the pedestal in large dovetails beneath metal strips highlighted by rather distinct scalloping. The legs have a high lift, the bold knee swooping into crisply carved snake feet. This is an absolute treasure for anyone passionate about clean and unbroken lines in period American Furniture; the graceful qualities of the form are unmatched and are inspiring. It is a piece you will cherish in your collection for a lifetime. Measurements: top dimensions are 14 3/4" x 21 3/8" 28 5/8" high in rested position; 40" high tilted. Condition Report: Refinished. Two plugged screws driven through base to support leg. Coupled with some cracks and repairs to the base. One modern nail at middle of tri-form bracket under pedestal. Every other aspect of the table is entirely original, including the clasp and catch, and the screws. Simply outstanding condition. American Queen Anne Octagonal Candle Stand Antique Side Table, Massachusetts
American Queen Anne Octagonal Candle Stand Side Table Boston(note underside suggesting a Newton. MA origin) or Coastal Massachusetts Item# 130003OFF16 This is a wonderful American Queen Anne Candle Stand. Crafted during the last quarter of the 18th Century during the years of 1775-1800 out of very dense and well figured mahogany. The octagonal top is uncommon and very desirable, cut from a solid plank of mahogany with edges molded of the solid. Beneath the table, a chamfered batten stretches across the surface entirely undisturbed, still retaining it's original hand filed iron screws- the craftsman was generous with screws used to secure the top, recognizing the danger only a few screws could pose to the table top when shrinking and expanding occurs. As a result, the top is free of cracks or splits, retaining the same grain display the ... moreboard was chosen for originally. Beneath the table is an old yellowed note. Secured beneath nailed plastic, reading"Frank Morton from his loving mother Mary Alice Smith, Newton Towne, Nov. 15, 1898. while this possibly attributes the table to Newton, MA, parallels can also be made to design elements in this table to Boston and Essex County Massachusetts. The pedestal illustrates the standard design of coastal Massachusetts. A long tapered pillar over the ringed urn baluster. Beneath the pedestal is very attractive and quite distinctive scalloping, first in the legs on either side of the pedestal and followed in the actual shaft. The cabriole legs lock into the pedestal in the typical dovetailed manner beneath an iron tri-form bracket. Identified as a"triangle" in price lists of the period, this still retaining it's original rosehead nails. The feet are incredibly attractive, a bulbous snake footed form with an outstanding profile that shrinks sharply into the tiny ankles of the leg. This is a piece you will cherish for a lifetime in any serious collection- exceptional in every way. It has been preserved carefully with originality preserved in nearly every asp

ca. 1760 Queen Anne Tilt Top Tripod Table Solid Mahogany.
This table is very clean and is made from solid mahogany. The legs are completely hand carved and the top of the table is hand cut. The craftsmanship that went into this piece is outstanding. It is from about 1760 and over time has developed pleasing wear. The condition is good overall. But there is a crack in one of the legs, but it does not affect the integrity and stability of the table. The tilt top works, and the lock is original, but has one of the screws replaced. The top of the table has been refinished, but it is an old refinish. It is completely ready for use in a home. If you have any questions please ask! Thanks!

American Queen Anne Serpentine Top Tilting Antique Tea Table, Late 18th Century
Fine American Queen Anne Serpentine Top Tilting Tea Table In the manner of Joseph Short(1771-1819) Probably North Shore. Massachusetts- possibly Connecticut Item# 130006RUP13 Possibly by Joseph Short(1771-1819) of Newburyport. MA or a contemporary during the same period, this fine American Queen Anne Tilting Top Tea Table is an unusually attractive specimen. The top is an incredibly broad single plank of Birch with a molded edge carved of the solid in a soft reverse serpentine. Generally these tops are of at least two boards, sometimes with a small third board making up the edge- to be crafted of a full single plank and still maintain the original cleats and smooth function is quite a feat; shrinking and expanding can often have dire consequences on the cleats, resulting in a top that is either cracked or too compressed against the square ... morehead of the pedestal to be functional. Surviving in excellent condition. The table maintains it's original untouched cleats, mostly original screws, original brass latch(and period replaced clasp on the square head of the pedestal) and original tri-form iron bracket beneath the feet. The square pedestal head is a block of cherry chamfered along the underside, the pedestal tenoned through it in a square. The solid cherry pedestal is robust with a wonderful swollen baluster beneath tight ring turnings and over three cabriole legs that terminate in raised pad feet. The legs intersect with the base in soft scalloping that works to soften the flow of the joint, these joining into the pedestal with large dovetails. Finished with a glossy and attractive wax over shellac. The worn and oxidized patina of the wood maintains it's preserved glow and character. This is an exceptional piece for serious collectors of American antique furniture. Measurements: 31 3/8" x 31" top width/height; 24 5/8" from foot to foot Condition Report: Fine mellow refinish. Cleats original and untouched. Mostly original hand filed screws still securing these to the underside of the table wi

American Queen Anne Antique Candle Stand w/ Shaped Cherry Top, Late 18th Century
American Queen Anne Cherry Candle Stand New England States. C. Late 18th Century Item# 130008FDA12 This very cute American Queen Anne Antique Candle Stand is simply a treasure. Of quite petite dimensions. It is a piece that was crafted to be truly functional and enjoyable in a room without redefining the space. It was almost certainly made in the New England States during the last days of the 18th Century; crafted of solid cherry, the top is a beautiful solid plank shaped with oxbow corners and an ogee edge carved of the solid. The bottom is deeply oxidized, revealing variations in the surface with the unfinished hand-planing marks still clearly evident along the exposed surface. The pedestal tenons through a rectangular base, this affixed to the top with three hand filed steel screws set in chip carved wells. A simple turned pedestal emphasizes ... morethe graceful flow of the table, again without over-embellishment and in harmony with the choice of cherry and the soft curve of the snake legs. The legs tenon into the pedestal with small dovetails, the feet terminating in pointed shoes. A wonderful find for any period home where a small functional table is necessary for a living space. Perhaps beside the sofa or a fine Period chair, this is a piece you will cherish and enjoy regularly for a lifetime. Measurements: top] 16" x 15 1/2" 25 3/4" high Condition Report: Top has slight warp to it. Visible in the pictures. Dings, abrasions and burn marks throughout, all visible in the pictures; cracks in the pedestal and one old crack in a leg. Finish is replaced, probably 20th Century. One leg is repaired, possibly(though highly unlikely) a replacement- it has the same even preserved patina beneath the shellac as the other legs. Retains it's original screws, one absent. Please review all images in the slideshow for a full overview of condition.
American Queen Anne Antique Table Candle Stand, Cherry, prob. CT c. 1790-1810
American Queen Anne Cherry Candle Stand[Antique Side Table] Federal Period. Late 18th Century c. 1790-1810 Item# 130010AQS26 This is an absolute treasure. A very fine American Queen Anne Candle Stand crafted during the late 18th Century in the New England States- almost certainly Connecticut. The form is simple but excellent, the octagonal top in two boards of solid cherry with a recessed molded edge framing the smooth and undistracted grains of the top. The underside edge of the top is chamfered to lighten and even sharpen the shape of the top against the eye. Highly successful, the table floats with exacting proportions and absolutely no excess. Supported over a precisely turned pedestal, this swells only softly at the middle in a turned ring, based and crested by a multitude of rings before it tenons into the solid cherry cleat under the ... moretable top. The cleat too is bevelled along the edges and affixed to the top with a set of original and untouched hand filed steel screws. The table rests over three ogival legs, each tenoned into the base with a small dovetail and capped with an original tri-form bracket with untouched original screws still holding it firmly in place; the legs snake along in a smooth taper in plain toes, two of these repaired due to weakness inherent in the design. A neat little row of chip-carved impressions circle the base between each leg. With a dry and highly attractive surface under old layers of wax, the patina is finely preserved and quite nice. Pleasing in every way. This handsome table is a very fine acquisition for any serious collector of American furniture- remaining in nearly untouched condition, it will be cherished in your collection for a lifetime. Measurements: 17 1/2" along grain. 18" wide against grain, 28 1/8" high; 21" between toes Condition Report: Two feet repaired. Coupled with repairs to base behind feet(plugged screws) Original bracket, all screws original- hardware and cleat are untouched. Dry surface throughout with some traces of white paint in

18th CENTURY QUEEN ANNE MAHOGANY DRAKE FOOT TABLE
SOLID FIGURED MAHOGANY 18TH CENTURY QUEEN ANNE PERIOD MASSACHUSETTS DRAKE FOOT TABLE With our compliments we are delighted to offer you this very special late Queen Anne Period to early Chippendale period solid figured mahogany drake foot table. This piece is in its first surface first finish and has wonderful structural integrity. We note that someone added approximately 6" on the width of each leaf about a century ago. They simply needed a wider table to seat more people. We received this piece having a small separation in its top plank that we had our woodworker close up. It is made with pegged construction fastening all its tenoned joints. The table employs wonderful solid wide plank crotched mahogany in its construction. It is 41 1/2" long. 18 1/4" wide, 50 1/2" with its leaves locked open and stands 28" tall. ... moreIt has gate legs that support its leaves with large carved wooden hinges and gambled shaped cut outs on each end of the table. We note some ancient(about 150 years old) insect damages to one piece of the pine secondary woods on the table's box but its just fine. We noted it so we are going to tell you about it with well illustrated photographs. This is an extremely important and very rare1st half of the 18th century table predating our American 18th Century ball& claw leg construction. Each of the gracefully formed legs has lamb's tongue grooved carvings leading up from its Drake carved feet. Queen Anne Mahogany Tilt Top Candlestand Table 18th Century Snake Foot
Lovely little Queen Anne snake foot candlestand in mahogany. This has either the original surface or an extremely old refinish. You can see the hand planing marks and the tenon is a square tenon. All the screws are original old screws and there is no damage or repair to the piece. Lovely smooth as glass surface from years of polishing. It would probably be best to remove the top in shipping but I will leave that up to the buyer. It measures 29" high. The top is 14 1/2" by 28" and it is 7" high to the kick-up of the base. If you notice the one negative feedback listed for damage in shipping. Please take into account that the person's idea of damage was some minor scuffing to the book spine and he sent extremely abusive emails threatening a negative feedback if I didn't discount the price. I immediately offered a ... morefull refund plus return shipping which would have been done without his threats. I received no further emails, no books and one negative feedback instead. I have shipped porcelain, furniture and fragile cameos with no problems whether they were 10.00 or 800.00 and even though I have had external damage to the packaging, the items still arrived safely. The Best Antique English Mahogany Queen Anne Tilt Top Parlour Table Ca. 1760's
The Best Antique English Mahogany Queen Anne Tilt Top Parlour Table Ca. 1760's This is truly a stately piece of furniture! Nothing exudes formal like English Queen Anne furniture in mahogany. And what a commanding table this is! 37" TOP. ONE BOARD! Just imagine in the 18th century how big that tree must have been to get a refined board that size from! Huge! We have a passion for tilt top tables. And this one is no exception. If your looking for a big tea/parlour table for a very formal setting. Or looking to mix in with a chic modern studio apartment, then look no further. This is a great table. In nearly 100% original condition. There are no major repairs aside from a old leg repair, and a butterfly on the back side of the top to reinforce a very old split that happened as the huge top aged and the wood shrank. The finish may not ... morebe the original surface, but it has a good lacquer finish. Some dings/scratches/marks on the top, to be expected with a table thus old. This is a spectacular table. Surly to be a conversation starter. Please. We hope you will enjoy it as much as we do. Solid mahogany construction. With live oak batons, and top block. Original brass catch. Size: 37 1/4 by 36 3/4" round) By 28" tall
Great Antique Chester County, Pa Walnut Queen Anne Tilt Top Table 1750'S
Great Antique Chester County. Pa Walnut Queen Anne Tilt Top Table 1750'S Wow what a table! We love tilt top tea tables. And this table is exceptionally nice. Superbly turned Center column. And wonderfully carved Spanish feet. Truly the work of a master turner and carver in Chester County. PA The top even has a moulded edge. To match the nice turnings! This table has a few repairs here and there. Nothing out of the ordinary for a table from the 1750-1770's The top has batons that are dovetailed onto the top boards. And 4 butterfly's to reinforce the top, most likely shrinkage. We are confident that the birdcage is mostly original, but the batons are later repairs done most likely in the late 1800's. The repairs are not modern. They are all hand done. The table was painted. Then subsequently stripped and refinish quite sometime ... moreago. The original finish is long gone. The current surface is a mellow aged brown. We had the key and donut made to fit the table. They were not there when we acquired the table. Size: 32" by 31 1/2" top(round) 28 1/2" tall

SUPERB 18TH CENTURY QUEEN ANNE PERIOD SOLID MAHOGANY DINING TABLE IN DEEP RICH ORIGINAL FINISH With our compliments Bay Colony Antiques is pleased to offer you this very well executed Circa 1740-50 Queen Anne period solid mahogany dining table. This is a fine true table with nice straight leaves and double finger jointed gate legs to support its large drop leaves. It has a very nice dovetailed table box that shows minimal derogation of its secondary woods. The only other thing we note is two of its leaves hinges were moved and re-secured. Photos available of its table box. That appears to have been done about a century ago. The table is in a very deep rich original finish and possesses superior formed pad feet. In our professional opinion this is a Rhode Island table. It has some nice old text on its base that we haven't had a second ... moreto attempt to decipher. This is a very solid table that will give you life time of hassle free service. It is 42" long. 22 1/2" wide with its leaves down and 49 3/4" with the leaves locked up. It stands 27 3/4" tall. Very Nice Antique Chester County Walnut Queen Anne Splay Leg Tavern Table 1780's
Very Nice Antique Chester County Walnut Queen Anne Splay Leg Tavern Table 1780's Very nice early tavern or work table Great form. Wonderfully scalloped apron. There is not one nail the the construction of this little gem. The batons holding the SINGLE board walnut top. Are dovetailed to the top, then pinned through onto the apron. The legs are mortised and pinned onto the corners that make up the apron. Great tapered and splayed legs The cabinet maker that made this table. Had quite a bit of skill to build this table. Tapered and splayed legs are a relative rarity. One apology on this awesome table is somebody for whatever reason had this table apart in pieces. One of the legs has beef replaced quite a few years ago. While they followed the correct construction methods, they used poplar for the leg. Bummer. There is also a repaired patch ... moreon the top The rest of the table is constructed from walnut. If your a serious collector. This will horribly detract from the value of this table, however if you simply looking for a good useable table, at a good price with a great early look, then this is the one for you! It's a great table at a fraction of the show price of the same one if it had not been repaired. A un-repaired specimen would easily cost in upwards of $1500 at a high end antique show. Size: 24 1/2" by 19 3/4" top. 28 1/2" tall
18TH CENTURY CHARLESTON SOUTH CAROLINA QUEEN ANNE MAHOGANY TILTING TEA TABLE
SUPERIOR QUALITY CHARLESTON SOUTH CAROLINA QUEEN ANNE PERIOD 18TH CENTURY MAHOGANY TEA TABLE WITH INCISED EDGE With our compliments Bay Colony Antiques is pleased to offer you this most exceptional solid Honduran mahogany 18th Century Queen Anne Tea table circa 1750's Charleston South Carolina. This is a superb specimen in original finish and amazing original structural integrity. For everyone we see only one in a 100 haven't been off their original tilter arms or the arms having been re-drilled and re-screwed. Not this one. We note four issues of minor consequence. 1. a minor professional repair to the securing top pedestal on the column. 2. The lock has been reset with newer screws but never moved on the body-lock also is missing actuating knob but can be manipulated with a small tool to lock and release smoothly and 3. Someone ... moreput a few new screws in the tilter arms. 4. The owner of the estate had a professional restoration preformed on the dovetailed joined base channels. They had dowels sunk to re-enforcement the pedestals by a woodworker. These are all the best things to see and not structurally altered is the big point here. This is a big heavy solid mahogany tilt table that has moving parts. After 250 years these don't hold up so well unless they were virtually never used. This one has seen a very charmed life with no digs. Scratches or evidences of any abuses. Its been loved and cherish purchased through Christies by a Vermont estate in the 1980's. It has a 35 1/2" top and is 28 1/2" tall on the best formed Queen Anne pad foot with a defining deep scribe line ruining around the tables edge. Southern Queen Anne Mahogany Tilt Top Antique Table, North Carolina 18th Century
FINE AMERICAN QUEEN ANNE MAHOGANY TILT TOP TABLE. SOUTHERN STATES Chowan County. North Carolina; probably Edenton; c. 1750-80 Item# 409JPP04Z An exceptional surviving example in nearly untouched condition other than the fine finish. This American Queen Anne Round Tilting Top Tea Table is closely associated with a small grouping of furniture from the coastal North Carolina, particularly Edenton. The work center is distinct for it's use of a dovetailed box instead of a birdcage with pillars as the rotating and tilting functionary, a technique founded in British furniture but only known to have been employed in American furniture of coastal North Carolina, specifically Chowan County. Further related are the uses of a large turned boss in place of a tri-form iron bracket beneath the pedestal to secure the dovetailed legs to the base and the ... morescrolled volute leg returns at the juncture of the leg and pedestal. This is only hinted at in the present example, the soft roundel left unembellished as a simple scroll along the interior edge of each leg. Like most of the tables identified from this work center, the top is a thick and broad beautifully grained solid plank of mahogany, affixed to the dovetailed mahogany box on a pair of blunt ended cleats with original screws flanking projecting dowels from the box. The pedestal is striking for it's compressed urn and tight ring turnings beneath an elongated shaft. The legs have a soft and highly effective profile. The cabriole flowing into a rounded foot over thin pads of the solid. The table is preserved in outstanding condition with many layers of later finish over early color and deep patina, retaining it's original iron tombstone latch and brass catch with it's original hand filed steel screws, likewise with original unmoved cleats and most of it's original screws. The large turned boss remains affixed with it's original iron sprig nails. This is an exceptional investment grade selection for serious collectors of American works. Materials: All primar
