Regency Twin Drawer Table- c1820- Fine Rosewood This Rosewood Regency twin drawer table is a lovely example presented in good condition. A twin pillar leg form with carved mouldings is united by a central footrest stretcher. The upper case sits over and displays lovely inverted finials at the corners and fine beaded edge detail to the perimeter. Twin drawers are present. Both are full depth with a main document storage drawer and a compact super little writing instrument drawer to the side. Late 18th Century English Chippendale Antique Desk Table, Partially Composed

Description: This listing is for a Partially Composed Late 18th Century English Chippendale One Drawer Desk. Mahogany. It is a very fine piece with wonderful color throughout, a warm patina dancing across the finish. The top is rounded along the edges, a slight lip over a very wide and thick mahogany veneered surface with outstanding flamed grains. A single broad drawer sides in and out of the table with what appear to be fully original pierced batwing pull hardware and escutcheons, newly polished, and a veneered drawer facade. The drawer is hand dovetailed front and back with a thin single board bottom chamfered along the edges to rabbet into the frame. The lock is brass, appearing to be original with replaced screws, though ... moreto verify this we would have to remove the entire lock and have not done so. The table rests over four straight legs, the interior edges bevelled, both front legs flanked on either side by pierced returns in the Chippendale manner. This is a beautiful and simple desk. Bringing the beauty of the 18th Century to a very useful piece of furniture. This is not a collector quality piece, as noted below in our discussion of some additions and adjustments, but it most certainly is a fine decorator piece and is priced to meet that market. With glowing original brasses, a fine deep patina and a petite and simple form, this is a wonderful piece for any room where you seek to capture a classical air or sense of nostalgia. In excellent structural condition, this piece will last in it's current glowing condition for many generations to come. Spanish Campaign Table Desk from the 1600s Shortened to Coffee Table Height
This wonderful 17th century walnut table measures 46 1/4" in width. 21 1/2" in depth and 21" in height. It has a one board top. The legs fold in with a hand hammered pin system. I was told that this was probably a campaign desk or table and that it dates from the 1600's and that it is Spanish in origin. Over the course of many years, there have been many repairs. At one time, there was damage caused by worms which resulted in the legs being shortened. Some of the trim has been replaced. The old lock remains which dates the table to the 1600's. The lock has a sidewise V which is similar to a frizzen spring found in a flint lock pistol.
