Front drawer, faux rear drawer facing in original finish and first surface. This is a notated piece from a highly respected colleagues' personal collection. Pa. inlaid period Pembroke tables are exceedingly rare. This gentlemen was a Prince of our industry and we will all miss him dearly. The proceeds of the sale of his estate was all donated to various charities. Various museums were bequeathed over 100 of his tall case clock collection. We have some amazing pieces from his estate. Some we will keep to remind us of him and other's, like here, will be offered on this sales platform. Everything is original on this Pembroke table right down to the brasses. The original finish has some blemishes on it but we make no apology or excuses for it. We could clean the surface and rub this out but that would be entirely your decision. Ours is not to touch it. We will provide provenance on this piece to its next owner. We will not to some mildly interested party. We have this authority in the case of this estate but we are not advertising his name like a K-Mart special. This man was a refined, kind and generous man who would want his collection shared with the world. He was eager to share his knowledge with any level of collector and despite his great wealth and accomplishments in life he treated everyone with dignity. This table is 33" long, 23 1/4" wide(46 3/4" with its leaves locked up) and stands 28" tall. 18th Century Irish Gold Gilded Gilt Marble Top Console Carved
This is an Irish 18th century carved wood one-legged marble topped console. As I am neither a dealer nor collector. I guess it best just to describe it's history: It was purchased from Leslie Hindman Auctioneers in Chicago by a local premier designer for $760. I purchased it from him for $1030. It was then re-gilded. Filled/leveled in gesso, repaired/reinforced with epoxy, regilded in 22k gold leaf, and then clearcoated in matte acrylic lacquer for $949 in 2002. The underneath of the marble top is signed by the person for whom it was commissioned. The signature is indecipherable. It has been stored indoors since a move in 2005. 37" High 30" Wide(marble top) 16" Deepest part of marble top I will do my best to answer any and all questions.

18th CENTURY HEPPLEWHITE MAHOGANY INLAID CARD TABLE-SOUTH SHORE MASSACHUSETTS
LATE 18th CENTURY HEPPLEWHITE FIGURED MAHOGANY INLAID CARD TABLE ATTRIBUTED TO ABIEL WHITE WEYMOUTH MASSACHUSETTS With our compliments we are pleased to offer you this fine South Shore Massachusetts Circa 1780-90 Hepplewhite mahogany coca bola inlaid card table attributed to Abiel White of Weymouth. Massachusetts. It has semi eliptical top and base, a heavily crotched figured mahogany 4" apron with curved formed corners, three oval coca bola and satinwood inlaid panels, a fine inlaid coca bola& satinwood inlaid border running around the base of the apron and satinwood string inlay running around the leg blocks and the finely tapered legs. We noticed this piece was dry when it came in and gave it a feeding wax application before taking these photos so please excuse any shiny glare. This card table is 36" long, 17" wide and ... more29 1/2" tall. It has a hinged swing out back leg that supports the card table when its opened to its 34 1/2" width. There is an old professional repair to the surface of the table's top under the folding lid. It has a few light scratches that will fill in when we give it a tinted waxing and buffing. We just don't like to wax pieces until they are leaving the shop. We are constantly moving the shop around and the wax gets smudged when we have to pick up a waxed piece to move it. Lastly we noted a very small chip of wood gone near the left lower lid. We are sending this over to our woodworker for a splice that will be completely invisable. We have deep connections to the South Shore of Massachusetts and Weymouth. Abiel White was the decesendant of Mayflower passenger Perigreen White of Marshfield, Massachusetts. We are very proud to offer an Abiel White piece(we have only been able to find two in the last year) and we will see this piece gets the finest attention it deserves. As it stands right now this period card table is perfectly acceptable the way it stands but why not do a few hours of cosmetic work to make it simply perfect? We know you will appreciate i
English George II Queen Anne Lowboy Antique Chest of Drawers Writing Table c1740
Fine English George II Mahogany Lowboy Chest of Drawers Mid-18th Century. Probably c. 1740-60 Item# 130002KJJ18 This is an absolutely wonderful find for serious collectors of Period Georgian English furniture- an original George II Period Lowboy Dressing Table crafted during the middle of the 18th Century. Almost certainly between the years of 1740-60. A pure piece with no adjustments or alterations, this is a very fine selection for purists and those with a preference for utmost quality in their collection. The projecting top was reset during the 20th Century, probably the same time it was refinished in a brilliant french polish, the molded edge scalloped on both front corners to give great shape to a simply gorgeous single solid plank of golden mahogany. The front and sides of the case are joined into the legs with a glued tenon joint. ... moreAll three being single solid boards with gorgeous grain selections. The front apron is scroll cut with magnificent and highly robust form, giving emphasis to the bold projection of the cabriole knee, the resulting empty space purely architectural in form. Three small drawers slide smoothly in and out of the case above this apron, each dovetailed at the front beneath cockbead molding, the backs and bottoms of the drawers nailed with small rows of iron nails. The brasses on each drawer are replaced, though correct for the period. Stretching from the top to the top. The legs are crafted of a highly complex single plank of wood, transitioning from the square corners into the bold cabriole leg before terminating in pointy slipper feet. The back legs are octagonally chamfered. Lending a squareness and masculinity to the overall form of the table. The back of the case is a single solid plank of oak, the interior secondary structure mostly pine with some oak- it is complex interior structure, a series of pine battens nailed perpendicular to the case on both sides and doubly in the center, one with an original rosehead nail visible. This form was originally designed as a dressing tabl
English Chippendale Period Antique Ball and Claw Mahogany Game Table c. 1790
English Chippendale Mahogany Carved Ball and Claw Foot Game Table Late 18th Century. Circa 1790 Item# 130002IRP01 This is a wonderful English Chippendale Period Carved Ball and Claw Foot Antique Game Table. Late 18th Century c. 1790. It is a piece upon which no expense was spared in the production. As every design embellishment commonly associated with the period was executed on this piece. The mahogany top has a nailed quarter-round rim applied on both levels, opening on original brass hinges and untouched screws to reveal a replaced felt surface bordered by mahogany. It projects softly over the frame. This being covered in vertically grained mahogany veneers not just on the front and on the sides, but also along the entire back. This added expense of finishing the back leg surfaces and adding the thick veneers is typically superfluous and ... moreconsidered unnecessary, as the table would remain against the wall- this detail certainly hints this was a commissioned piece for a home of means. The frame is dovetailed pine, as evident when opening the rear gating-leg, the drawer blades likewise dovetailed on either side as they stretch horizontally beneath and above the drawer. The facade of the table has a single broad drawer in the center. The edges framed in tacked cockbead molding(absent on the right side) around the dovetailed oak secondary woods, the bottom crafted of five untouched oak boards nailed perpendicular to the face. The cast brass bail pull handle is absolutely gorgeous, an entirely original and entirely hand forged work of art still retaining it's original backplates, pins and nuts. The underside of the apron has applied gadrooned molding. Nailed every few inches from beneath with short iron nails, carved to match up with the outward flowing acanthus scrolls of the knee returns. The workmanship in the carved knees is exacting, the crisp flowing rococo lines simply sprawling over the sharp knees and down the leg as a natural outgrowth from the gadrooning. The softly cabriole front legs terminate in out

American Queen Anne Birdcage Tilt Top Side Table, Connecticut, Late 18th Century
American Queen Anne Tilting Tea Table(Antique Side Table or Candlestand) Connecticut Connecticut River Valley. Late 18th Century Plain dish-molded top over birdcage support tenoned over a compressed-ball pillar terminating in triform snake feet Item# 130002YRW19 This is a fine American Queen Anne Antique Tea Table crafted during the last quarter of the 18th Century. Probably in the Connecticut River Valley. Of wonderful form and proportions, this very attractive piece is pure and relatively undisturbed, the finish being the only change over the last two centuries. Characterized by simplicity and a compression of lines, the design carefully balances the visual weight of the spherical top and oversized birdcage by squeezing the baluster as close to the legs as possible, perfectly dividing the mass of the table away from the midriff. The top ... moreis a work of art. Crafted of two solid Cherry boards joined nearly seamlessly, it was lathe-turned patiently and with great risk to the craftsman to produce a raised molded edge of the solid. The cleats are affixed to the underside of the top with symmetrically spaced original and undisturbed screws, these flanking the birdcage box structure that allows the top to spin freely. The birdcage is crafted with complex and possibly unusual construction, four baluster turned pedestals joined into the square(unidentified, possibly pine) softwood top and through the cherry bottom, the latter tenons wedged with splints for a pressured joint. Four iron bars penetrate at an angle down through the top and are twisted under the bottom, giving incredible strength and permanence to this delicate structure. An original clasp on the underside of the top still perfectly grasps the latch on the birdcage, both undisturbed with original screws still securing each(one later screw added to the clasp due to a loss at one corner) The solid cherry pedestal joins through the birdcage. Tapering as it penetrates the structure and is secured in a hollow in the top of the structure, joined with a wedged

18th CENTURY CHIPPENDALE MAPLE FARM TABLE
18th CENTURY CHIPPENDALE MAPLE DROP LEAF FARM TABLE-EAST FAIRLEE VERMONT This offering is for a wonderful wide board 18th Century maple Chippendale table originating from the MacFarland Family of East Fairlee Vermont. This drop leaf gateleg farm table is completely untouched in its original surface. It has carved Marlborough legs. Pegged construction and its top is made entirely from heavy wide plank clear hard maple. Its legs are maple and its base frame is made of cherry. One side of the drop leaves as a slight typical warping. This does not effect the use of this table. Its top surface in this spot is still level. These wide board maple planks are susecptable to these issues when the table was stored in varying climates over the last few hundred years. Usually this happens very early in the life of these 16" wide plank maple tables. ... moreThis is a wonderful Vermont table with a rich history of a family that lived in East Fairlee for over a century. It is 49" long, 16" wide folded down, 57" long with the leaves locked up on its wooden hand carved finger jointed hinges and stands 28" tall. Someone installed caster wheels on this table around the last 19th century which have been removed. If you desire these wheels which will make the table an inch taller we will be delighted to reinstall a super quality set of brass casters or we will plug the bottoms of the legs as it as originally made. American Chippendale Period Mahogany Pie Crust Tea Table, poss. Southern States
American Chippendale Mahogany Pie Crust Table. Possibly Southern States Last quarter of the 18th Century. Hairy Paw Ball and Claw Feet Item# 130101RQY27 This is an American Chippendale Period Mahogany Pie Crust Birdcage Tea Table. Crafted during the last quarter of the 18th Century. Possibly in the Southern States. The bold turned baluster relates to many forms seen along coastal North Carolina. Though it is a difficult piece to attribute with any certainty as similar works are also found in Philadelphia. More research would be necessary to attribute the piece with any authority. A very handsome work. The top is crafted from a single board of mahogany, a broad piece measuring an immense 37 1/16" x 36 3/8" It's sharp and well formed rim is carved of the solid, and from all appearances seems to have been sunk by hand rather than ... moreby turning, the craftsman planing this board until the outer inches of the rim remained upraised. These would then be carved and chiseled until they took on the form you now see. This is a highly labor intensive process and is more generally seen from shops with lower volume of production. We believe this table was probably in rough shape at one point in it's not so distant past. A condition that required the restorer to take apart the birdcage(note the alterations to the birdcage) remove the old rails and replace them and restore the cracking and loss around the base where the legs join the pedestal. As a result, it is difficult to be certain that the top truly is original to the table, though we do believe it is after closely examining it. The slideshow has many close up pictures that will allow you to determine that for yourself. The birdcage mechanism allows the table to swing freely. A small wedge-tenon sliding into the crevice in the top of the pedestal to lock the entire device in place. The pedestal is bold with a wonderful swollen baluster over the tri-form legs, these joining directly into the base in broad dovetail joints from the underside, locked in place with

Rare Antique Folk Art Marquetry Inlaid Tilt Top Table
Offered for your consideration is this Early Folk Art Inlaid Circular Tilt-Top Tripod Table. This table came out of a very wealthy early estate. Who said the table was in their family for several generations. The top of the table has a scalloped edge with a design carved into it. The table has an outstanding detailed inlay on top, consisting of goats and some sort of flowing heart design. We are not sure what wood the piece is made of. It appears to be a birdseye maple veneer top with inlaid marquetry and a dark walnut base. The top is supported by a fluted and carved pedestal base with carved feet that resemble a twisted root design characteristic of Black Forest. The size and shape of this table makes this piece able to fit anywhere! The top measures approximately 20 1/2" in diameter and the table measures 29" tall. Definitely ... morean heirloom quality table that would make a fantastic addition to any home. I will do my best to describe the condition. The boards that fasten on to the bottom of the top appear to be crudely cut on an angle for some reason, we have taken closeups pictures that should tell the story. There is a few small spots on the top where the inlay is missing. Also, the shiney finish shows wear and loss on top of the table and could use a refinish job if that is a concern. However, it still displays well, having a nice antique, folky look to it. The tilt mechanism amounts to a simple board that moves forward and backward allowing the table to tilt. This is one of the nicest early Folk Art tables I have ever seen, a must for the serious collector. This table is being offered AS IS, if you need any additional photos please ASK BEFORE BIDDING. PLEASE LOOK OVER ALL THE PICTURES AND EMAIL WITH ALL QUESTIONS PRIOR TO BIDDING OR BUYING. Thanks so much for taking the time to look and be sure to check out our EBAY STORE. Tiquehunter. American New England Queen Anne Pad Foot Diminutive Gate Leg Card Antique Table
Diminutive American Queen Anne Drop Leaf Table c. 1750-70 New England States. Maple Primary woods, Pine frame Resting over tapered legs and pad feet Item# 120011IQO24 This is a uniquely diminutive and quite attractive Queen Anne drop leaf table. Crafted of solid Maple in the New England States during the mid-to-late 18th Century, probably 1750-1770. The shapely top opens over ruled joints for a clean and broad surface- excellent dimensions for use as a functional card table or breakfast table, folding up as a wonderful hall table or dining room server. In 18th century homes, it was important that dining and entertaining furniture could be used flexibly for multiple uses, both functionally as a useful piece when hosting company, but also aesthetically to enhance the beauty of a given room. This table, with it's wonderful dimensions and ... morefine lines, clearly would have been a desirable piece in most households of the period. Originally this table would have been painted. Evidence still in the corners and crevices of a white paint that may have been the original color. One leaf is a solid plank of solid maple, the top and one other leaf crafted of two pieces of broad maple, all hanging over entirely original hand forged iron hinges- several of the original screws are still preserved in these. The table rests over a primarily pine frame, one leg gating outward on each side to reveal the dovetailed construction of the frame, the legs joined to the gate with double pinned tenon-mortise joints and swinging on a thick and heavy knuckle joint. The legs are perfect turned works, each perfectly tapering into a tiny ankle before flowing into the soft padded foot. This is an outstanding find for the collector and decorator alike- in excellent structural condition. Fully capable of regular use as a card table and serving table alike, this is a piece that if well cared for will last through many generations in your family. Measurements: 37 1/2" wide x 37 1/4" diameter when opened 27" high; leaf 1 = 12 13/16&quo

American Maple 18th Century Tilt Top Table 1750-1790
What a great looking table we have here. We are estimating between 1750- 1790 and we think it's on the earlier end of that due to the blacksmith construction of the catch(latch) Iron leg tie, and handforged nails. There has been obvious repairs to the legs and it appears that the feet have been shortend. Also seems to have been painted red at one point and black at someother time. This would lead us to believe it's not the original finish.however it looks pretty close to original. Measures 31.75" round and 27.5" high. We can ship this item at the new owners expense or local pick up is always available. Please ask questions or provide any insight you might have. Baroque Refectory Table - European Walnut, c:1680
Offered is a refectory table. Hand-carved from European walnut. Very likely from the late 17th C ent ury. N icks. Dings, cracks and damage to its legs over past 300 or 400 years are consistent with much furniture of this ag e. It still remains a fine example of Baroque craftsmanship and artistry. The two rows of decorative spike heads imbedded in the top are a medieval touch and an indication the table could ha ve been made in the late Renaissance period. However. The flowing curves of the trestles and cross bars are decidedly Baroque in style. Although the table's o rigin and age are unknown to me. It is known that European walnut was the primary wood used in furniture of this type in Mediterranean countries-France, Italy and Spain- up until the late 1600s. At which time walnut was becoming rare. After the 1680s. We see oak bec oming ... morethe prima r y wood for this typ e of furniture in Europe. Note: Slotted s crews securing the cross ties on the underside of the table top were probably installed during the 19th C entury or in the early 20th Ce ntury. Inasmuch as screws of this ty pe did not come into use until the 19th Century. Th e previous o wner sa id they were already there when she acquired the table in the 1940s. Th e y are evidence that the cross ties were added as a repair at a much later date than 1680. ANTIQUE 18TH CENTURY FRENCH COUNTRY KITCHEN DROP LEAF HARVEST TABLE Very nice early kitchen table with drop leaves resting on pullout rails above a single drawer. You can raise one or both leaves at a time. Tables like this were used to make daily dough on busy kitchens. But today it can serve the purpose of a kitchen table in a small cottage or even a dining table if you have no dining room– when leaves are open you can serve up to 8-10 people and when leaves ... moreare down it takes up minimal floor space. This table was carefully restored, when we did our best trying to preserve it’s original patina and time marks on the top are clearly seen. Because it is solid wood it was much easier to remove them and make this table like new. But we are museum quality restorers, not refinishers. Table is jointed with wooden pegs; uneven. Hand cut dovetails on the drawer and the way how it was constructed, along with early, rusted through nails makes us believe that it is a very old item, dating back to early 19th- late 18th century, but due to the provincial nature of this piece of furniture it just cannot be identified for sure and an exact date of its creation is unknown. It is a quality made item, well build and precisely fit, only three solid pieces of lumber were able to make it 42“ wide, which means that it’s wood came from about 300 years old tree; you will not able to find lumber this wide in stores anymore– all old trees are under protection of the French government now, hence they were almost all gone in 18-19 centuries, when France was producing only solid wood furniture. Because this table is only 28 ½” tall it might feel inc
