They are very pretty, are larger in diameter, and are mostly in good condition but some of them have some chips, particularly towards the back where they are touching the wood. A very fine antique. Circa 1890's, carved and burled walnut marble top dresser with attached mirror frame and beveled mirror. Two piece construction. The case has three short drawers over two long drawers, with the original brass pulls. The drawer interiors are maple. Light burl walnut veneers across the drawers. The sides have a recessed panel. A finely mottled brown and white beveled marble slab is on top. The mirror frame is supported with a frame of deep carved classical cornice having acanthus, drapped swag, and serpentine ribbon. The mirror frame support measures 4'9" 57" tall by 3'7" 43" wide by 3" deep, the mirror glass 29" by 27-1/2" The dresser measures 3'8" 44" wide by 2'4" 28" tall by 20" deep. A very fine antique. Circa 1840's, Empire mahogany step back dresser with mirror. The front feet are large carved claws with acanthus leaf tops, below plinths supporting full round columns having acanthus carved capitols. Between are two flat deep drawers with curved ends. Above is the long convex front drawer, sectioned inside. Three small drawers are on top, all drawers with the original cut glass knobs with brass collars. Supporting the removable framed swivel mirror(new glass) are two carved acanthus leaf scrolls. The fronts and sides of the case are flame mahogany veneers, the case and drawer interiors of pine. It measures with mirror 5'5" 65" tall by 3'2" 38" wide by 20" deep, the mirror glass 23-1/4" by 13-1/2" Excellent condition: original unworn finish- varnish has crazed to an even ... moresatin finish. A large antique American Empire/ Late Classicism mahogany dresser. Circa 1870. Past down by decent in the same French Canadian family and then through marriage to Norwegian American relatives in the 1920's. Made from beautifully grained mahogany veneer over poplar and birch secondary wood and always kept indoors. There is absolutely no fading of the rich wood colors. It is approximately 34 1/2 inches high, 24 inches deep, and 48 inches wide, and is in excellent overall condition with the original finish intact. antique Shaker style dresser
This is a very beautiful old piece and does not appear to have had any glue used when made. Some of the joints are lose. As I have read that it has more value if left alone. I have not made any repairs. This is Shaker style- but as I believe, it was made in the midwest so it cannot be called pure Shaker. This piece was passed along through families and was never in an antique shop or sold. It has a beautiful, rich deep color. There are a few water marks on the top and one of the knobs is damaged, but I have seen replacement knobs for shaker furniture. The back and part of the drawers were made of rough scrap like wood.

2 Pc. VICTORIAN Burl Walnut Wishbone Mirror DRESSER& Gentleman's CHEST This elegant Victorian drop front Wishbone Mirror dresser chest and matching Ladies' or Gentleman's chest is constructed of walnut with burl accents. The style is consistent with the period of"Renaissance Revival. Ca. 1860. They both have the original finish, wooden casters and working antique keys. These pieces feature Renaissance Revival/ Rococo elements including serpentine ribbed"carpenter's lace" on the edges and around the dresser's tilt mirror. They have applied hand carved drawer pulls. Escutcheons and other decorative elements in a leaf and flower design. The corners and edges are rounded. And the casings around the drawers and most edges are curved and double or triple ribbed. The dresser has a wishbone tilt mirror on pedestal ... morebase. Handkerchief drawers and three large drawers. There are turned finials on the mirror posts and spindles on the sides of the handkerchief drawers. The three large drawers lock. The chest has an upper cabinet with shelf. Probably for hats or bonnets, one small drawer possibly for gloves and another larger drawer at the bottom. The top part of the cabinet features cathedral shaped burled panel doors that close with a hook on the inside and a lock. The drawers do not lock. Measurements: Dresser- 42" W x 20" D x 42" to top of small drawers x 77" H Chest- 34" W x 16" D x 44" H The overall condition is very good considering the age. One spindle on the dresser's outer left handkerchief drawer has a missing part of about 1/2 inch. There are minor cracks on the sides. This is for a Antique Crotch Mahogany Dresser with Acanthus Carved Columns Picture Framed Mirror. This is a wonderful antique crotch mahogany dresser with acanthus carved columns on each side of the original picture framed mirror and on each side of the dresser base. The fancy carved columns flow down to a heavy claw foot on each side with the original wheels under them. Some wheels made need a little oil to get them to roll freely. All drawers have glass knobs although some of them are not original. The top has some stains but you may be able to just buff them out if you decide to. The mirror is original with some fading that you can use as is or replace it with a new mirror. The drawers are held together with handcut dovetails and the inside are made of quarter sawn oak. Offered for sale is this rare 1800's Dresser/ Chest top mirror stand. It just does not get any better than this. This piece has 3 drawers. A mirror that swivels on the 2 upright arms and the entire piece is made of dovetailed oak which has a rich patina. I am not sure you can see it in the pictures but the middle drawer and mirror have a thin light maple inlay around the perimeter. This piece is real craftmanship at it's finest. It has an awesome design with the middle drawer offset from the 2 side ones and the mirror support arms divided and elegantly curved. The whole thing sets on small bun feet. Beautiful Bombe Commode Chest with Green Italian Marble Top Louis XV French Antique Bombe Style Chest This was abosolutely the most beautful piece of furniture I have ever had. My husband inherited it from a client approximately 20 years ago. He has since past and I do not know the complete history. It was in exellent condition when I met him and remained that was until we moved to a new home about six years ago. It was sitting over an A/C vent I do not know for sure but I believe that may have dried it out and caused the veneer to start chipping. If the right person knew how to fix or restore the veneer it would be perfect piece. The Green Italian Marble top is in pristiene condition. as are the drawers, legs and ornate brass fixtures. I hope this chest finds the right home it is beautiful in any room. Height 36" Width 52" Depth ... more21" I am not sure about the weight- it i very heavy with the Top. Beautiful antique Victorian or Eastlake dresser vanity. Marble tops are ivory in color and in good shape. Original ebony drawer pulls. All 4 drawers pull nicely with unique dovetail work. There is also a secret bonus drawer at the bottom that goes unnoticed. The mirror has some silvering in it. Burl wood inlays throughout. Minor wear to be found in places. But nothing terrible. The wood looks to be chestnut, but I am not positive. Great well made piece that will last many more years to come. My apologies for the somewhat awkward photos. This piece is heavy to move on my own. And the lighting was not the best for taking pictures. I am assisting a friend in selling this piece. It has been in their family for a long time.
