Scottish 1870's Antique Tall Chest or High Boy Dresser. Secret Drawer. Hand crafted in Scotland in the 1870's. This striking tall chest of drawers or high boy dresser has original genuine mother of pearl knobs and keyhole escutcheons plus a secret drawer. Cherry and matched flame grain mahogany. The lustrous finish is in excellent condition with lots of touchups and restorations. Large drawers have chamfered bottoms and hand cut dovetail joints. Hi. And thanks for looking! This listing is for a real antique empire style dresser. This is a good sized piece, 47 inches high, 42.5 wide, and 23 deep. There is three drawers on the bottom and two up top, all with hand cut dovetails. I think the bottoms of the drawers as well as other parts are all one piece of wood with no seams. The front has beautiful flame mahogany veneer which is in fairly good shape except on the top drawers, which have slight curve. Along each side of the front are greek colums with hand carved details top and bottom. The top of the dresser is two boards that have been painted to look like wood grain. There is a gap in between them, due to age I suppose. All the drawer pulls are clear glass, I don't think they are original, but they are old, and some don't match exactly. The drawer pulls are pegged and most of the construction is done with the skill of a master carpenter and not a lot of nails. Though it is not nail free. We are not experts in wood, but would call this mahogany, a beautiful medium color. This stands approx. 11 5/8" tall, by 11" wide and 9.5" deep. The finish looks great, though there are some scratches on the left side, and one of the drawers is missing a bit of trim on the right and the back wall reinforced with small brads, but it is solid now. This whole piece is a marvel of old fashioned craftsmanship, made as a salesman's sample or for a little girl to put her doll's clothes. What a great addition to anyone's collection! Good Luck! This is a gorgeous Antique Eastlake walnut dresser with a white Carrera marble top. Ornately carved pivoting mirror, and glove boxes. The 3 drawers below have beautifully carved acorn pulls, and the glove boxes have porcelain knobs. There are burl panels on the front of each drawer under the pulls. The drawers have"pin and cove" joints. There is a crack on the top of one of the glove drawers as shown, but other than that, this is a very well preserved piece of furniture. The size is 33 1/2" high to the dresser top x 37" wide x 18" deep. The top of the mirror measures to 69" high. The glove boxes are 17" x 10" x 5" This is a solidly built, beautifully detailed piece of furniture that will last generations to come! Antique dresser with carved grape handles
This dresser has 3 large drawers that each have carved handles. The handles are grapes& leaves(see photo) On the casters. The dresser dimensions are 41-3/4" wide X 17" deep X 43-3/4" tall(to the top of the small drawers on top) It is a unique piece and I am not sure of the wood but it looks like butternut. It is a beautiful color, all wooden with dovetail drawers. Their is an inlaid wooden star on top of each of the smaller drawers on the dresser top. The piece shows normal wear and the original finish is still very nice. I took a photo of the right side which shows a groove that does not go all the way thorough the side board. Also. There is some aging to the top- photo of that included also. This is a lovely. Unique piece of American history and I am hoping it finds a good home!

Antique Maine pine dresser 1800s
Antique pine dresser from Maine. I was told its from the 1800s. Bought at auction in the early 90s. In great shape. There is a little bit of water marking on the bottom of one of the sides but barely noticeable and easily fixed. Mirror is newer and in good shape but could be secure in place more as it rattles in place a bit with strong movement. I put a small piece of cardboard behind original wood strap and thats easily stopped it. I think it was refinished long ago and is a nice looking piece. Must pick up(94525) Will not ship. Antique Victorian Era Dresser With Triple Mirrors
This dresser has two top drawers and two lower drawers in the base. Plus two small drawers atop the base. It has a center mirror and two side, arched mirrors making it quite distinctive. The mirrors are beveled and show signs of aging. The veneer has wear, which is age appropriate. The hardware all appears to be original. The four legs have castors, which also appear to be original. The intricate carving detail across the top makes this dresser truly unique and charming. For bid is an old. Victorian era wood doll house or TOY or DOLL DRESSER with three drawers with brass pulls! This wonderful piece of miniature furniture features wonderful details and very old-looking wood with some signs of age and wear. The entire item is made with very nice detail, very similar to a full sized piece of furniture. This chest of drawers stands just over 9 1/2 inches tall by about 6 1/2 inches deep. The widest measurement is over 12 1/2 inches. I’m guessing this item dates from about the 1880’s. It may have been made in the United States or somewhere else. I’m really not sure! Shabby Chic 1890's Antique Oak Dresser
This 1890's quaint old oak wash stand with smaller side cabinet is a lucky find and a rare piece. The design is not typical and would not have been available if it were not for some condition issues which have been remedied. The back was cobbled together with braces(solid plywood now reinforces the structure) and the lower cabinet top was gone(new oak matching cap) The hardware is all original and in great shape. As are the drawer bodies. The lower cabinet originally was meant for a chamber pot and is in good shape for its age. Wash stands used to be a common bedroom fixture around the turn of the century before many houses had running water and indoor plumbing. This piece has been lovingly updated with a custom aged finish which will work easily with almost any decor. This piece measures 41"wide x 21"deep x 31"tall.

This fine 19th century dresser features its original glass drawer pulls. Early hand-cut dove-tailed ends on the drawers and powerful S scrolls that flank the base. The ogee framed mirror rests between the tall scroll top arm supports, we believe the mirror to be an older replacement and is nice and clear. The drop center base features smaller glove box drawers on each side with ogee drawer fronts and below additional storage is found in the four larger drawers below. Antique Empire Style Buffet Dresser Storage
This was the piece that I had the most fun with. I used 16- SIXTEEN- different Annie Sloan chalk paint colors to get this effect. Plus Crackle Tex. Clear and dark wax. So. The story behind this piece is. Well, firstly it's massive. It is the great beast of all furniture. 60"x 26 1/2" x 42" and solid. It looks like wood, but I think it's really granite. It is that heavy. Two pull out drawers on top with ceramic Anthropologie knobs, one massive pull out drawer underneath, and two doors opening to full storage. I bought this from a really cool woman in Portland. You know the kind- just naturally hip. With the groove going on. She had been given it by a friend(I bet who was even cooler! when the friend moved to an Ashram in Portland. Apparently, each of the rooms had a buffet like this! Gawd, that would make me want to ... moredo yoga! It's kinda ironic because the buffet. As big as it is, was the natural dark wood stain. You would think that they would want light, bright colors(perhaps this is why they gave it away) All I can think of is that somewhere in deepest darkest North Portland there is an Ashram filled with antique buffets. That just makes me want to do a Down Dog Split with Open Hips, just thinking about it. I have this listed on my facebook page(ThePaintFactory) as a buffet. But one of my friends posted that she could see this as a changing table in a nursery. I think this is a STATEMENT piece, with endless possibilities. Could still work with traditional antiques, could totally work in a contemporary space, neutral and fun enough for storage in a kids room. Your imagination is your only limitation. Rare Antique Victorian Renaissance Revival Cottage vanity dresser
Up for auction is a beautiful Victorian Renaissance Revival Cottage dresser. Very old and cool. Pictures don't do it justice. Its 81 inches tall, 38 and 1/2 across and 17 and 1/4 out from the wall. Has four big drawers and two glove boxes on top, along with two candle shelves that are on either side of the mirror. The mirror glass was replaced in the 1970s but it tilts and is adjustable. Has worn spots but thats to be expected after over a hundred years. Mirrored back and glove boxes lift off the marble top dresser. Marble also lifts off and it weighs a ton. 3 of the 4 drawers have their original locks. Antique Maine Victorian pine dresser vanity 1800s

There is a little bit of water marking on the bottom of one of the sides but barely noticeable and easily fixed. Mirror is newer and in good shape but could be secure in place more as it rattles in place a bit with strong movement. I put a small piece of cardboard behind original wood strap and thats easily stopped it. I think it was refinished long ago and is a nice looking piece.
