The Pots is a very fine example with nicely cast and etched Period East Indian designs throughout. The Pot is also very nice quality and though unmarked. A lot of early Persian Silver never was. The Pot displays very nicely measuring approx 2" tall by 2-3/8" long and is quite heavy with a weight of 43 grams. I am also including the spoon that came with it, I believe it is Silver Plate. The Pot is in excellent condition for the age, it could use a better polishing but we prefer to leave it as original as possible. This quality antique silver mustard pot stands 75mm(3' high x 95mm(3.75' including handle x 40mm(1.5' and weighs 152 grams with the glass liner and 77 grams without. It is hallmarked for solid English Sterling silver to both the base and the lid for Sheffield 1906 with the makers mark for the well known firm of Harry Atkin. The silver is in good condition with no repairs and the blue glass liner is a slightly smaller replacement with the silver base having been pushed up to compensate for this(photos4.5&6) which is not visible from the top. Both pieces are hallmarked for Birmingham 1919 and with the maker's mark of Edward Barnard. The mustard is in excellent condition with no dents. Splits or repairs. It measures 4" 10.4cm) long including the handle and it stands at 2 3/4" 6.9cm) tall to the top of its finial. The mustard and the spoon have a combined weight of just under 2 1/2ozs(68.2g) WITHOUT the glass liner. This is a Victorian Antique Solid Silver Mustard/ Pepper Pot + Ruby Red Liner The Silver Holder is Hallmarked Birmingham 1900 and Manufactured by G.E.W(probably G.E.Walton) It Measures approximately 40 mm tall x 30 mm x 30 mm and the Silver Weighs over 7.0 grams(not including glass liner) The Ruby Red Glass Liner is in Very Good Condition with just a very minor nibble to one corner and the Silver base has some small bumps to the underside.
