Th e weight of these antique Levi& Salaman. Birmingham, England, Sterling Silver Fish Serving Set is 7.1. oz. The Fish Knife measures 12-1/4 inches in length and the blade is 2-1/2 inches wide. At the widest point. The fork measures 9-1/2 inches in length and the tynes are 2-1/8 inches wide. They are both engraved on the front of the handles with the initial B(see photo) They are marked with the makers mark for Levi& Salaman. Selling as found as the top is off need a hinge and the cobalt liner has a crack in it. Item is only 1 3/8 round at the top and only 1 1/4 tall to the top of the rim or 1 1/2 to the top of the handle. The crack goes across the bottom from side to side and up about 1/4 inch on the side and reconnects to the bottom. There are a few small dents in the silver with one on the top. This is a unique very decorative silver handle button hook. It has the hall marks of Levi& Salaman made in Birmingham in 1897. This has a round handle that tapers at both the top and the bottom. The hall marks are located just above the polished steel shank which has Steel stamped into it before tapering down to the hook. The shank has a great patina to it. It is approx. 9" in length. If I did the research right. This incredible frame(from my sister-in-law's estate) is made in Birmingham, England by Levi and Salaman between the years 1910-1918 and is.925 Sterling silver. The Hallmarks of an" L&S" indicates the maker. The picture of the Anchor means it was made in Birmingham England, the Lion means it is.925 Sterling and the" f" I think means it was imported. not so sure about that one so if you know about silver maybe you could educate me and send me an email? The pictures do not show all of the uniqueness of this frame or it's beauty. I apologize for being such an amateur photographer) The ornate frame measures 9" x 6" with a photo area for a 4 x 6 photo. Antique Silver Nail File- Levi& Salaman An antique silver handled nail file(the file is steel) It is hallmarked for Birmingham and the maker L&S which is for Levi& Salaman. The date letter is rubbed and it could be a D but not sure. The handle has a stylised monogram to it. A nice item for any collection. In antique used condition with with some light dings and age related signs of use. Please see photos. Measures 6"l) x 1/2" Payment outside of UK PayPal only. Payment appreciated within 7 days.
