Good lot to fix up and use or re-sell or scrap. All hallmarked for London. The Shoe/ glove hook and brush are marked with a T for 1894 The Comb and nail file is marked with a U for 1895. The brush and nail file are monogrammed with initials and a crown. 88 grams in the brush(not including the brush which has a tiny crack seen in one of the photos and needs glueing) 25 grams in the nail file(not including the pad which needs glueing and re-surfacing) 36 grams in the comb(including the teeth etc) 143 grams in the hook(please note it has a steel hook part. Hallmarked: London 1894. Maker: W.C for William Comyns. This wonderful piece is completely delightful. Extremely ornate and in fabulous condition considering the age- 119 years old. This piece is completely Solid Silver. Not weighted or filled. The letter rack sits on a Solid Bull nose base with a decorative tulip style flower boarder. Two uprights of the most exquisite ornate pierced work of scrolls. Flowers and foliage. The back is slightly higher than the front. Which has to be my favorite side. Victorian silver Chatelaine Spectacle Case by William Comyns 1891 This beautiful spectacle case was superbly crafted by the highly esteemed and collected William Comyns. The sterling silver face is exquisitely decorated with a cherub. Peacocks and scrolling foliate. The clip has a decorative cast silver mount featuring two cherubs, a crown and foliage. The back is covered with black leatherette and it is lined with dark blue velvet. The case is clearly hallmarked for Birmingham 1891 and the clip for London 1891 which shows they were crafted in different workshops before being united. Both items bear the unmistakable maker's mark very clearly. The cartouches on each piece are engraved with the initials'AM' The silver is pristine with no dents. Dints, splits or holes that I can find. The leatherette covering to the case is in excellent ... morecondition with only some tiny areas of wear at some edges. This charming old English antique used to sit on a lady's dressing table during Victorian times. It is a mirror with a gray velvet backing and self easel. And the front is decorated with a border of sterling silver flowers and scrolls. The hallmark indicates that it was made by the famous silversmith WILLIAM COMYNS about 1896. The shape is triangular and the measurements are 8 inches wide at the base and 8 inches tall at the center. A tiny dent in the scrollwork at the bottom and a tiny scratch on the glass itself are the only damage other than the fading and age related stains on the velvet back. The marks you see in our photo come from a dusty scanner. This is a lovely reminder of a time when life was leisurely and ladies spent hours at the dressing table.and it will be appreciated by someone elegant.

Fully stamped to the base of the coffee Can's& saucers with the Wedgwood china printed back stamp- Egg Shell& Rd 179250- Clearly dating these cans& saucers to 1891- 1892. 2 coffee can's have a"green" backstamp along with 1 saucer. 1 coffee can has a"brown" backstamp along with 2 saucers. Wedgwood at this time made reproductions of early Chelsea style& so produced this piece. 1 silver holder is fully hallmarked- William Comyns- Birmingham. Lion and date letter"W" for 1896. 2 silver holders are fully hallmarked- W.C( William Comyns) London, Lion and date letter"u" for 1915. This piece is 3 1/4" high, 3 1/8" in diameter, and weighs 151 grams of sterling silver, or close to 5 ounces.
