There are some ships in the paint that I believe just adds to its shabby yet still chic cottage style charm. I had this chandelier hanging in my daughters room for the past 12 years and it worked perfectly. However. As with all used electrical items, it would probably be a good idea to have them looked over and fitted in your home by a competent electrician. I have shown the chandelier in the photos with the custom clip on lamp shades that I had used in my daughters room. The light reflects so well off the the candle wick detailing that runs from top to bottom. It is blue with beautiful-highly detailed clear glass. All components are in excellent condition and are from the mid century era. The shade and stem compliment each other nicely. The shade measures about 12 inches in diameter and is in wonderful condition with no chips or cracks. The metal components have been sanded and repainted a glossy white. The original Leviton porcelain socket has been rewired and accepts a 150 watt bulb. This amazing light fixture hangs 16 inches from the ceiling. The mounting hardware will be included. C handelier measures 22" from top of glass column to bottom of hanging fruits and is 15" in diameter. What I call medium sized. It has 4 Lights which hold candellabra based bulbs. All four bobeche cups and top ornate column are graduated B lue to L avender M urano glass. Top column ha s a crack& small chip near top which has been glued and is stable. See pic#8. Turn this part to the back and no one w ould know. Body of fixture is birdcage shaped and features central brass column and 2 tiers of brass arms. Lower 4 brass arms have G lass B eadwork and ends of arms heavily adorned with colorful prisms and Maria Teresa flat flower discs. There are P urple prisms/discs on top tier and A mber on lower tier.
