This darling antique brass pendant light is a Vintporium favorite. The fixture has a drop of 34 inches and a width of 14 inches. The fixture features new cloth covered wiring. New mounting bracket, and new socket guts while keeping the old socket casings. The fixture has a solid brass ceiling pan, solid brass shade fitters and an antique brass painted steel chain. The shades are a wonderful frosted and painted glass. Hardware is a clamshell type hinge. I have found these on other sites(full fixtures) for $2250.00. I didn't find any cracks or breaks in the globe. This lovely original Holophane prismatic shade is made from frosted pressed ribbed glass with ruffled edge. Around the rim of the pendant collar there is the Holophane trademark name Pat.1909 No. 20222. This shade comes with its original metal gallery fittings and wooden ceiling plate. The shade measures approx. 5" tall by 7.75" across the base. When fittings are attached it measures approx. 8.5" long. The glass shade is in good condition. This listing is for a old slag glass pendant light that we recently acquired from a local home. We were told by the owners that it was original to the house which was built in the 1920's. The pendant housing measures about 17.5 inches. And including the ceiling fixture it measures 21.5 inches top to bottom. There are four slag glass panels and four vibrant ruby glass accents in a clover shaped design. All the glass is in excellent condition without damage. A very nice piece of early lighting.
