Offered is a PAIR of Beautiful Ornate Art Deco/ Victorian Ceiling Light Fixtures. Featured are beautiful PINK bubble shades from the 1930's. Often called THOUSAND EYE SHADES. They are pal e pink and clear vintage 3-chain shades which are 10.25 inches wide. The shades are in wonderful condition without chips or cracks; there is some paint overspray on the clear rim of one of the shades. This is often the case and is original to the manufacture of the shade. The new fixtures are solid brass with new porcelain sockets and wiring. And feature a glass accent on the stem. Old Art Deco Nouveau Victorian Ceiling Light Fixture CHANDELIER w/ 5 Orig Globes
For your consideration here is a lovely vintage old chandelier ceiling light fixture with 5 original ivory/ cream color original glass globes. There's a nice hand blown heavy glass round"ball" shaped piece on the chandelier. The entire chandelier is all completely original. It is made from multiple types of metals. I am not 100% sure what all the metals are but I think at least some of the metals may be brass. Cast metal, possibly bronze.some of the metal is magnetic and most of it is not magnetic. There's a little rust on the magnetic round disk shaped piece near the middle area of chandelier but it's nothing I would consider major. The chandelier does show use and age but still a fantastic chandelier with wonderful art nouveau/ Victorian designs& patterns. The 5 glass globes are all the original globes.they do ... morehave tiny, tiny barely there flea bites around the opening but they are not noticeable.I only saw them with my magnifying glass when I was looking the chandelier. The original wiring, cables,etc are still present. The chandelier measures approximately 25 inches tall. 18 inches wide. The glass round ball shaped hand blown piece measures 9 inches around. The glass globes measure approximately 5-1/4 inches in diameter. 3 inches tall, 4 inches in diameter at largest opening and 2 inches in diameter at smallest opening. Chandelier is quite heavy. Will be packed with lots of care and a generous amount of bubble wrap. Paper and cardboard before packing it into a sturdy solid strong box and shipped to the new owner. Vintage Antique Solid Brass 3 Arm Chandelier Light Fixture w/ Shades Up for your consideration is this beautiful antique solid brass 3 arm chandelier with matching shades. This fixture was installed in the library of a huge“1898” Queen Anne style summer home located in Harbor Springs. Michigan. Most of this home still relied on the original“knob and tube” wiring for its electrical power. The first floor ceilings of this home were 11' high. A few of the ceiling fixtures were controlled by pull chain switches due to the lack of wall switches. This fixture was originally equipped with a pull chain switch. Photo#10 shows the hole where the switch was installed. This ornate fixture has great detailing and is in very good condition. It has an overall height of 36-3/4” from top of canopy to the bottom tip of the finial) The widest point of the ... morefixture is approximately 22” measuring to the edges of shades. This fixture was just re-wired and new socket insulators were installed. It has been gently cleaned so as not to disturb the aged patina. All three of the original solid brass“Fat Boy” sockets have mica centers and are in very good condition. They are marked"Edison Patents 250V 50 C.P" The paddle key switches are marked“Bryant” The 2-1/4" shade fitters are marked"PAT. DEC 9. 90 SEPT 29,96" The three matching holophane style glass shades are in excellent condition. The cross hatched cut glass design and the delicate beaded ruffle enhance the overall beauty of this light. Shades measure 4-3/4" high. Have a 5-1/2" diameter at the ruffled bell opening and are 2-1/4" at the fitter. Canopy has a 5” diameter at the ceiling and is 3” high. The canopy has a couple of small bumps and dings. In addition. These have just been removed from a home that was built in the late 1800's. I have reason to believe these lights were original to the home- making them well over 115 years old! Square bases measure 5 1/2" x 5 1/2" Lights measure 8 1/2" tall. These are in very good antique condition- I find no cracks or dents- I have cleaned them some. But they could use a more thorough cleaning- unless you want to keep the natural patina they have acquired over time. Victorian Brass Chandelier Ceiling Light Set - Matching Pair of Electrified Gas
For sale is a wonderful matching set of electrified antique lights. These are wired with new wires and sockets and both have the original etched glass shades which are quite large(3” fitter and 7 1/2” wide at the top. The lights are in very good condition with minimal signs of wear. There a few bumps and dings that are only visible with very close inspection. There are a couple of small places with tarnish. But those could be polished up easily. While these are a matching set. It does appear that over the years a couple of pieces have been replaced. The bottom finial pieces are different and the fitter on one is ornate and the other is simple(See pictures. Also, as you can see from the pictures they were hung using chains and simply plugged into an outlet. Antique. Very ornated, Victorian or Art Deco ceiling chandelier light. It is a very old light from california and still has the old cloth wiring. As you can see it is in working condition but may need to rewire it before using. Just got this light out of a old attic and it needs cleaning and looks like the 6 glass shades have a dark tint to them. Each side of fixture measures 5 1/4 inches wide, 5 light, from ceiling to bottom of light fixture is 39 inches. Aprx. 10 inches overall diameter and measures 19 inches tall with 15 inches of chain. 10 lbs. unpacked, solid brass! No cracks or damage just needs a good cleaning. Vtg. Antique Brass Hanging Electric Ceiling Light! Lamp! Victorian! Chandelier
I have two of these listed so if you need a matching set please view it's mate. I listed separate because most of the time people only need one. This wonderful antique light measures 23 inches wide/round and 18 inches tall. The chain and the part that attaches to the ceiling are an additional 20 inches. But of course, the chain can be shortened to adjust to the height of your ceiling. I personally would replace the chain and rewire the lamp due to age. For its age, it's in excellent shape, and I can find very little wear. There is a bit of scuffing and the metal has tarnished a little bit in spots. That would be mainly on the chain and such though, as the body of the lamp is just great. The bulbs need replace and you can chose the bulb of your choice. Exquisite Antique Victorian Hurricane Lamp Ceiling Chandelier by The Ruby Company N.Y.C. Criteria early 1900’s. Excellent Vintage Condition. This chandelier is extremely detailed with an ornate intense Victorian design. It has 35 Colonial cut crystal prisms with brass pins that surround this lovely Light. It has a white milk glass type shades decorated with blue. Red,green and tan floral hand painted décor. Has detailed floral scene is on both sides. There is a 12" clear and frosted hurricane shade under the large shade. The Light is wired with old cloth wiring. The lights support arms are a wrapped brass design. Measures 36" high and 14" wide. Antique Victorian Brass Electric light fixture, ceiling chandelier, Deco, glass
This auction is for an ornate Victorian or Art Deco looking brass ceiling light. Chandelier style, made to hang on a chain. It was taken from my mother in laws house recently during a remodel, the house was built in 1916 and this is the original living room light. It has three lights, the holders for the bulbs are on ornate arms, and dangle, they are not fixed in place, and they were set up to turn on individually by turning the key on each light. The chain, and ornate key bit on the end are still present as well as a cone like piece, but I can't recall how they were all put together. but all the pieces are here. There are 3 heavy glass shades, lightly frosted on the insides and not chipped or damaged. The light fixture has some dust on the top, a few paint splashes from paint jobs over the years, and the wiring is the old original cloth ... morecovered style, so I would recommend rewiring! Nice dark untouched patina to finish. Large milk glass globe with chips to top rim and bottom hole where finial attaches. All are covered and not seen when together and ready to hang. Light comes with its original large light bulb but also takes a standard bulb. Entire fixture weighs just under 21 lbs.
