Here is a nice vintage hanging light. Nice art deco. It holds 4 bulbs. The center bulb is a large size porcelain socket. The three arms take standard size bulbs. The body is made of iron. The arms are made of nice decorative brass. About 10 inches tall and 7 inches wide. I do not know exactly how old it is but it is an old one. It has aging and wear with some stray paint on the brass. Paint is peeling on the iron body, it is still very nice. It has socket recepticles but will need to be rewired if you intend to use it. Sold as-is, not tested for working condition, wiring is old. They are a golden color with white undertones. They are trimmed in gold with a French or Italianate vine and leaf pattern. The pair are stamped"Porcelier" on the inside. This vintage light fixture has such great design on the piece. It's all around the outside and then then ittle circle in the middle of the light. Its in great shape. No cracks or chips. Is a cream color with the flowers. There isn't a chain switch that should go in that hole. You can always purchase one in a restoration strore. The flowers pink and yellow. My eBay name says it all.liquidators. I was an eBay seller back in 2000 and I sold to meet a financial goal. Life has a way of taking over such that when my goal was hit my inventory just sat in storage. Well. I have to admit not only did it sit but over the years I have added to it. Due to my fiancé in all likelihood having to move overseas due to work in 2015 and me tagging along I HAVE TO liquidate my inventory. And yes, I have that much that I need to start now. Description: This BEAUTIFUL 1930s-40s semi-flush ceiling light fixture features the hard-to-find large 16-1/2 inch wide shade. This pattern is more commonly found in the 14 inch size. The thick glass shade has a satin crystal color with a raised pattern. Parts of which are clear. The shade is textured with raised, small flowers on the frosted part, and is capped off with a solid brass finial. The porcelain canopy was made by Porcelier. And it is trimmed in gold, which is approximately 80% intact. The original matching glazed sockets are signed"Porcelier" The fixture has brand new wiring, and accepts three standard size bulbs, providing plenty of light. Antique farmhouse ceiling light fixture porcelain canopy glass shade
Wonderful old farmhouse ceiling light with a new rewired twisted black cloth cord. The socket paddle has a nice click and the ceiling canopy will fit a modern light box(these canopies are very rare and hard to find) All in excellent antique coondition. One of the pictures shows two tiny manufacturing marks on the inside of the shade. The socket and shade holder are solid brass. Ready to install. Sorry. No international shipping.
