Pan-style fixtures(so named because the main body is like a large pan) were incredibly popular through the 1910s. 1930s, and early 1930s. Most were modest in terms of design, quality, and pricing. Very occasionally however I come across a set like this. Wow. This set was not modest in design or quality. And in its day would have been at the higher end price-wise. It’s stunning. The fixtures came out of a house in Illinois. And were caked with white paint when I acquired them. Luckily, paint doesn’t stick very well to silver-plating. The 4-arm chandelier is particularly luscious. The arms have gorgeous detailing in high relief. The bottom finial is surrounded by a lovely disk. The chain flourish is also exquisitely detailed. As is the ceiling canopy. You can see how different the fixtures look with shades(not included) or without. The vertical wire on the chandelier is cloth covered like the original. While originally intended for a living-dining room. Today I can envision the set in your newly renovated kitchen, or spa bathroom! The set would be the ideal complement to nickel-plated hardware. The sconces are heavy cast metal. And feature delicate designs finished in cream and gold(an original effect) The sconces are not large so are ideal for a smaller room like a bedroom. Bath, or foyer. Each sconce has a pull-chain. While the sconces would work in many home styles. They would look particularly fetching in a Colonial-Revival home. PLEASE NOTE: Not all the sconces are restored yet. This will take a week after payment is received. This set will be shipped wholly restored. With new wiring, ready to hang, and with all the mounting hardware needed! DETAILS: Sadly. Wrought Iron Wall Lamp, Spanish Colonial Revival
Nice vintage piece of wrought iron with green pebble textured glass inserts. The style works well with Arts& Crafts as well as Spanish Colonial. Apparently it was never electrified; however. The fitting is in place for the cord. It measures 16” in length and approximately 12” at the widest point. The condition is“as found” leaving the extent of the restoration to the owner.

For Your Consideration Here is candle stick style chandelier. Metal has been painted; may be brass but not sure. Height of arm is about 10" Chain and Bracket measure 24" together. Central unit from bottom to top(where chain connects) is about 15" Heavy chain. May be iron. Wiring is older, see photos. Maybe 1940's, at least? Delightful antique five arm Colonial Revival chandelier. Featuring it's original beautiful brass finish and dating from the early 1900's. Found in a home in Atlanta, GA, this chandelier begins with an understated canopy, coming down in chain to a loop finial composed of volutes. Below, the urn-shaped body supports five s-shaped arms that extend from the middle of the base to support two-part bobeches. The brass fixture finishes in simple curved finial. The light has been professionally rewired and comes with all necessary attachments for modern installation. The chandelier measures approximately 17" wide, 18-1/4" tall, and 33" long overall. The back looks to have been soldered to another pipe at some point. It's possible these were originally gas fixtures. The previous owner used them as candle sconces and some wax still remains.
