Up for auction is this great pair of 1930's Riddle Co. spider web pattern hanging light fixtures. The first one is marked"863" and is a 5 light fixture measuring about 16 inches accross. The second is marked"865" and is a 4 light fixture measuring about 14 inches accross. These chandeliers are fresh from an estate tag sale. They need to be rewired and cleaned. They were made by the Markel Electric Products Company in the 1930's. The back of each wall sconce is signed M.E.P. Markel Electric Products) And the socket has the name Markel on it as well. The original paint is still present on these fixtures as you can see. Both lamps come with the original finial. They have been tested working however they still have the old wires so you may want to have them replaced. Each wall sconces measures 4 1/2" x 9" and they project a total of 4" from the wall. VINTAGE 1930 VIRDEN ART DECO WALL SCONCE LIGHT FIXTURES FROM FARMHOUSE ESTATE
Offered is a Matching Pair of Vintage Virden Wall Sconce Light Fixtures. Each sconce measures approx. 11” tall by 4 1/8” wide at the widest point. They extend outward from the wall approx. 4 ½ inches. These sconces are from an old farmhouse estate in middle Tennessee. They are definitely authentic. As I personally removed them from the wall. They are lightweight and appear to be cast aluminum. The white that you see is layers of decades old paint. To match the walls as they were painted through the years. There are surface scuffs& dings here and there as well as other natural patina. Consistent with that of 80+ year old antique fixtures. One of the sconces appears to have had the on/off switch replaced. The date and age of this wire is unknown. Two Rare and Absolutely Beautiful Porcelier Porcelain Flush Mount Light Fixtures. Art Deco Era with soft pink and green floral designs on corners. The color of the fixtures is an amazing cream color glaze. Original double sockets and deep seating screws. Both of the fixtures are virtually flawless. There are NO cracks. Chips, crazing or breaks. There is a small drop of cream colored paint between two ribs that may need to be rubbed off. It really wouldn't have to be touched/disturbed as it is not noticeable. I would love to keep these for myself but I don't know when I would get them put up. So I am hoping that someone will cherish these and show them off in their own home. Pair of vintage outdoor lanterns. These were manufactured starting in the 30's but through to the early 50's. I believe these are moving toward the newer. No damage to the glass. Each has a rotary switch. 7 3/4" projection and 10" tall.

Vintage 1930's ART DECO PORCELAIN "Porcelier" Light Fixtures THREE
Three Vintage Porcelier Porcelain Electric Light Fixtures Sconces. The twin bulb fixtures measure 11 1/4" x 6 3/8" x 4" The small fixture measures 5 1/4" x 5 3/4" x 2 5/8" They are an ivory/off white color with flower accents. They do have what I would consider minor flaws for their age. One of the twin bulb fixtures has a deep crazing line and the other has more overall crazing The small fixture has a chip or scrap to one of the flowers. I have photographed the above mentioned. One of the large fixtures is missing its finial and the hanging bracket. There is no hanging bracket on the small fixture. Hanging brackets can be gotten at a lighting store and you may have to change out the porcelain finial for something different so they match. I would suspect that there is somewhere out there where these parts could ... morebe bought in some form. Of course they should have the wiring inspected. They would be lovely in a bathroom. This information is to the best of my knowledge and limited research* This slip shade chandelier dates back to the 1930's. It's in great condition and was rescued from an abandoned storage unit. It's a solid piece. Weighing approximately 25-30lbs. My guess is that it will need re-wiring to light up, but that's not my expertise. This is a great piece!

3 J C VIRDEN ANTIQUE 1930 ART DECO WALL SCONCE LIGHTS FIXTURES - CANDLE DRIP
These are really beautiful. 3 pair matching set. Please read full description and look at pictures carefully. My Mother was into depression era items and bought these at an antique store. She had them hanging in her house. They have been wired with switches. Switches all turn fine. Sockets appear to be present. They were never wired to the house. She just hung them up on the wall as they are seen in pictures. Double Sconces. Coloring is good. I do believe they are cast aluminum. They are marked. JC VIRDEN 1930. They are very old. They do have some normal aging. The cardboard is pretty good after all these years. Few scuffs on the cardboard in a few spots. Look at pictures. A little dried paint residue in a few areas on them. We never attempted to clean them. They are about 9 1/2 inches vertical down the center. They measure about 8 inches ... moreacross candle to candle. These would be great in an depression era decor room. Again, these are antiques. 85 years old. I wouldn't do anything to them. Please feel free to email or ask questions.
