VINTAGE CAST BRASS WALL SCONCE, LIGHT FIXTURES, LAMPS, VICTORIAN, ARTS & CRAFTS
Offered is this beautiful pair of antique cast brass Victorian style wall sconce light fixtures. They are in very nice condition and are 100% original from the porcelain sockets to the fabric insulated wire. There is no manufacturers mark that I could find on them but they are extremely well made and of a very high quality. Each fixture measures 10 and 1/2 inches tall by 4 and 1/2 inches wide and will extend 6 inches out from the wall once mounted. One fixture is missing the candlestick cover tube as shown in the photos, I chose not to replace it so as to keep them all original and leave the replacement choice up to the buyers discretion. These are excellent pieces perfect for period restorations and remodel projects. They feature a subtle. Classic and very tasteful design, not too overly ornate. Thanks for looking!

Offered is a wonderful set of Vintage Mid Century Cast or Wrought Iron Wall Sconce Candle Lights. Each sconce measures approx. 21” tall from top to bottom. The decorative star on top is approx. 7” by 7” The overall width is approx. 10” to 11” at the arms. Both sconces are in good vintage condition with no breaks in the ironwork. The sconce pictured on the right is missing one of the wooden drip bowls. The other bowl will screw off if desired. A large candle could still be attached directly to the screw. These sconces are fresh from the attic of a local estate. I spent hours scouring through every box in the attic for the other drip bowl. With no success. From the estate of Jose' Thenee. One of a kind stunning antique wrought iron wall sconce/ lantern, nicely detailed, this has a New Orleans look to me. About 25" long x 18" wide. Antique Victorian wall sconce brass double candle holder
Offered for auction is this wonderful brass wall sconce double candle holder. The back plate screws to the wall and the two fixed candle holders stick out at 45 degree angles from the wall. The holders and the arms all have a scale like look and the finished has darkened to a nice rich brass patina The sconce stands from the wall about 4" and is 7" tall. Beautiful little sconce. And has a very unique acorn finial on the pull chain. The set screws on the pierced top fitter are pretty little flowers, and all three are present. It was in use in our 1891 home until just recently when we opened up a wall to the reading nook it was in to make a master bath. I suspect it was there from when the house was wired to replace the gas lights. Our town. Bellefonte, was the second town to be electrified after Edison's home town! The sconce is wired and ready to go. But please an electrician or knowledgeable person double check the wiring to your satisfaction since it is not a new piece. The wiring is cloth covered, but doesn't look original, so may have been rewired more recently. The piece is marked 250V Hubbel 250W on the socket. And Pat Applied For on the arm. I polished it about 4 years ago, ... moreand it has mellowed to a lovely light brass patina. Measures about 7" protrusion from the wall to the far edge of the fitter. 4-1/2" wide round backplate, and has an outside diameter of 2-3/8" on the fitter. This auction is for the sconce only. But was turned into this wonderful candle holder and very high quality. it has exquisite ornate detailing and holds 2 candles. it is made from thick heavy bronze and has a wonderful patina from age. it is highly embossed with beautiful scroll work. This is a gorgeous pair of ornate brass sconces They are matching. Vintage and original. I was told that they are from the late 1920's. They came out of a brownstone in Brooklyn Heights. They weigh approx. 11 lbs per sconce. The length of the mounting bracket is 9 inches tall and 3 inches at its widest point. When mounted to the wall. They stick out approx. 14 inches. The measurement from the very bottom of the mounting bracket to the top of the candle(not including bulb) is approx. 15 inches. They have 5 lights per sconce. This lamp was found in an 1800's cottage on lake Ontario in New York with the beautiful globe seen in the photos! Beautiful ornate Victorian cast metal/copper swinging wall sconce. Marked Pat'd June7, 1887. The globe is a soft off white color with floral transfers and some hand painted additions. Simple clear glass oil lamp base-appears newer. Oil lamp in some of the photos has a filling cap- the one for sale is the same but does not have a filling cap. The lamp has long ago been electrified and will need rewiring to current standards. The wall mount/bracket plate is included with the lamp. Measurements: sconce is 12" from wall to exterior holder; The holder part for the oil lamp measures 5 1/2" diameter on each. For sale I have this beautiful Brass Victorian Torch& Cherubs WALL SCONCE Professionally Rewired. This 2 light sconce measures 19 1/4" tall x 12 1/2" wide and will pertrudes from the wall 10 1/2" I believe that this was an old converted gas sconce. But unsure if that was the case or it was just made to look that way. It looks victorian to me but you be the judge. The only neg. thing I can say about this lamp is that I should have had them polish it up for me, but it was too expensive. For your consideration is a vintage cast iron Eastlake style electrified wall sconce with 3 inch diameter shade/globe holder/fitter. This is a very nice quality fixture. Please note however. That THE MOUNTING BRACKET IS MISSING. The round part that would insert into the bracket is 5/16 to 3/8 inches in diameter. The socket is good quality. It turns smoothly and works well. It has a very nice brass key. The screws which secure the shade are also brass. The cord is good. This fixture does not have any makers mark or indication where it was made(other than casting numbers'2' and'3' I think it was originally made as an electric lamp but I suppose it's possible(but unlikely) that the electrics were added later. On the socket it looks to read 250VV 50V PAT'D JULY 1909 read through a loop. It does have a couple of very minor small places with very light paint loss. I don't see a makers mark on the back. Ornate Pierce Work Victorian Bronze Wall Mount Sconce Candle Holder w/ Swing Arm
Appears to be Bronze in material and color-I see no chip marks from surface to indicate otherwise and heavy for size. I am thinking it is Victorian. Pierced or open in so many areas throughout design! Just fabulous! This item purchased at estate sale and I received no screws with it. So you will need to buy ones to use to hang. It does swing with a bit of force from right to left on the arm(to about a 75 degree angel from base on either side max) It is in good used condition and really nice looking. I do see a circle or O or Q on it under arm on back but everything else is too muddled or just part of the piece and so I cannot say if this is a marked piece or not for sure nor identify the maker. Approx. 9" long from base plate that connects to wall by about 5" tall from bottom of wall base plate to top of fixture candle holder top ... morerim by about 1" diameter on candle holder opening for candle to be inserted.
