It features a cluster of yellow tulip-like flowers in the center of a design of twisted rope effect metal. There are six arms ending in places for chandelier style bulbs. Overall for its age. It's in remarkably good condition. Maybe a few minor spots where the metal is bent slightly but you can easily re-bend those. There is a little chip at the top edge of one of the candle sleeves and one of the sleeves is missing entirely. The wiring is intact but we can't assess the functionality of it as we have never used this fixture. It came to us from the estate of a customer. We are pleased to offer this very beautiful and very OLD. Antique French Country(heavy) Iron and Crystal chandelier. Circa 1910, this wonderful, Art Nouveau era, fixture is also accented with tole flowers. The chandelier features graceful curves. The original black iron has been painted, at some point, in white. The tole flowers have also been painted in purple and pink. The flowers are found on the both the inside and outside of the chandelier at the connective points. They are also featured on the bottom with long black stems that curve the flowers upward. This beautiful 5 light fixture also displays 5 long crystal strands, one on each arm. The OLD, LEADED crystals are large beads with long rectangular prisms. This is an elegant fixture and, although it retains the old Arrow sockets, the wiring has been updated at some point and the chandelier ... moreis in excellent working condition. I don't know the age of these but they have newer sockets and newer wire so they are at least 1980's or newer but are very similar to the vintage 1930's-50's tole lighting. Each measures 21" tall x 15" wide. There is a nice matching flower ceiling cap that would look beautiful when hung. Antique Pair Cast Iron and Gold Leaf Tole Wall Sconces
For your consideration is this lovely pair of Vintage electrified wall sconces. The pair are quite unique unto themselves and although Appearing to have Spanish influences they are most likely Italian in origin. But of this we can not be certain as no makers mark or label can be found. Each sconce has a torch like appearance not unlike what would be found in a historic castle, each also have what appears to be artistically foiled gold leaf florentine styled grape? or perhaps tobacco leaf accents. Please view all attached photographs as they would most certainly be the best resource for this items description and their vintage condition. The pair are being sold in a used Vintage as found pre owned condition with typical age related wear from prior use. The pair although old work as they where intended but could benefit from a set of new(faux) ... morecandlestick sleeves and perhaps a rewiring for safety. Each Candelabra holds three standard size household bulbs and are individually wired in so that they can be separately switched on and off.
