Rare 1920's Cast Iron Antique Ceiling Light Fixture Black with Original Paint 4 Light Bare Bulb Lamp w/ Original G E Co Brass Sockets This listing is for a very nice antique light fixture. It dates from the early 1900's around 1920. It is a cast iron fixture which has the original paint in good condition. This fixture is a hard to find fixture and this particular on is free from rust which is very hard to find. Please take a close look at the pictures to see the amazing detail. It comes with the original finial. This lamp has the original 4 brass fat boy sockets as well. They are all General Electric Company sockets. This lamp has been rewired and is tested working. Please note it does not come with the chain this was only used for the pictures. We believe th is fixture is complete and the small brass round disk was the canopy meant ... moreto cover the electrical box but we are not 100% sure. Beautiful early 1900s cast iron Gothic/Mission style 5 light chandelier. Perfect for putting that original touch on a home renovation. It's got beautiful colors and a shield/knight look to it. It was solid black when I picked this up at the estate. I gave it a quick wash and a lot of dirt and grime came off. I think with a good power wash it would clean up beautifully and look brand new! It measures 19" across at the widest points. From the top of the blue/yellow/red shield to the medallion at the bottom, it measures 13 3/4" From the ceiling mount to the hanging medallion on the bottom, the whole piece measures 28" It's a sturdy piece, weighing in at 13 pounds. The fixture measures 12 1/2" L x 8 3/4" W at its widest point. It has some small areas of paint loss. The fixture does have some surface rust where paint loss occurred. There is some slight rust stains on some areas of fixture. It will need rewired.The fixture is missing the middle part that would screw into the ceiling. This is a beautiful. Total width just over 5 1/2" with screw holes being about 3 1/2" apart. Ornate iron drops down conical about 3" and has a loop to attach to chandelier, fixture, or planter. This can be secured to ceiling, and used to safely hang whatever you choose; likely originally for light fixture.

Up for sale is this very attractive. Vintage, Victorian, cast iron and cut glass ceiling light fixture. I would definitely classify this fixture as art nouveau. Rather than deco, due to the smooth flowing lines in its design. It is a three-bulb. Flush mount fixture that is 17 inches in diameter overall. The base and filial are cast iron with a gold finish. This fixture is quite heavy. Weighing just about 12 pounds. The 12 inch diameter bowl is cut glass in a beautiful flowing design. The underside of the fixture says that it was made in Spain. This fixture is in beautiful condition with no signs of rust. I was not able to find another one like it. It is definitely one-of-a-kind. I am a very fast shipper. Some of the plaster pulled off with the fixture, it has not been cleaned. Details: This fixture is from the halway of a home built in 1935. Authentic Ornate Beautiful Heavy cast metal ceiling light fixtures from a house built in 1880s. One was in the kitchen perhaps? or there was a fire? which would explain why one is darker. They both have original paint. The undersides are the same. I imagine these handpainted by an artist with many colors. Fantastic! No chips,cracks, defects. They will need refitting with up to date bulb sockets. They are 12 inches across and 3 inches deep, weigh close to 5 1/2 lbs each. One is missing the part that fastens to the ceiling,can be replaced with modern counterpart. Remember, Nothing is Perfect and Nothing is Impossible, Know This. This is such a BEAUTY with MUCH detail and is highly sought after CAST IRON! This is signed on the back LASALLE. It is a quality piece from the period with superior craftsmanship and not what you will find in today's marketplace with the cheaply made imports. This is geometric in design and notice the different texture designs on the light. The bottom has a very beautiful raised screaming art deco design on the bottom center. It is GORGEOUS! 1920's 1930's Cast Iron 5 Bulb Chandalier with one socket missing. I did not replace it because you will need new sockets and wiring to be up to code anyway,very easy to Restore, This one is marked JE 1, This one may be a RIDDLE, Ive sold others that are Riddle and they are made the Same, it measures 15.5' inches across and 15'inches from bottom of Chandalier to the Top of the Fancy Cast extended mount,but then it has a long chain so it is Adjustable to how far you want it to hang from the ceiling, I repainted it with Hammered Gold Paint and it really turned out Nice,i did not paint the back side so you can see the original Cast iron, some of these bring $380, so I will start mine out at a low starting Price. This is a stunning high quality antique solid cast iron Gothic electric chandelier. It is made with an abundance of intricate ornate detailing. Made of thick iron, and is extremely heavy. it has acquired a wonderful patina from age and has a beautifully textured/hammered finish. it has a nice bronzed finish with several colored embellishments. it has 5 very detailed arms and each holds a generic sized bulb. they have ornate socket covers that match the chandelier and topped with painted brass ball topped finials. the chandelier mounts flush to the ceiling with the large ornate canopy which is mounted to the rest of the chandelier. so it does not dangle it is a stationary chandelier. the piece measures 18 1/2 inches tall by 17 3/4 inches wide. it is in nice shape. It is wired but the wiring wrapping is peeling in some areas. could prob use ... moresome replacement wiring but is all exposed and would be simple to run.
