ANTIQUE Brass PAN CHANDELIER LIGHTING FIXTURE & Opalescent Iridescent Globes
Antique Brass& Acid Etched Opalescent Iridescent PAN CHANDELIER LIGHTING FIXTURE Gorgeous antique brass chandelier measuring 20" wide and 18" tall. Not including shades. It is a 5 light fixture with a large center globe and 4 small side globes. Also included is one spare side globe. The shades are in excellent vintage condition with just some minor paint speckling, I did not try to clean them as I did not want to damage the iridescent effect. Both the center shade and the side globes are beautiful acid-etched iridescent glass. See photos#6-10 for close ups. The large center shade measures 11.75" wide and 5.5" tall with a 9-7/8" fitter. The side globes measure 5.25" long by 4.25" wide with a 2-1/8" fitter. As for the brass fixture itself. I have not tested it for function although all the wiring ... moreseems to be in place. It also does have some definite signs of wear and age including some tarnish& minor oxidation and some minor splitting of the brass on the top the fixture which wouldn't be seen when displayed. The fixture ... moreis stamped brass and this has aged to a only-time-can-create bronze-like finish. Beautiful! I only gently polished with 0000 steel wool. Winding its way up through the chains is new cloth-covered wiring. Just perfect! Each socket has a Perkins turn-key in working order. An early dimming system! ABOUT THE LENGTH: The fixture is now 30-inches long. I can remove about 18-inches of chain if you need it shorter. If you need the fixture longer please contact me. This fixture is ideal for most home styles built before 1930. Wholly restored and with new wiring. This fixture is ready to hang, and comes with all the mounting hardware needed! DETAILS: The fixture accepts standard base 60W bulbs. The ball finial looks like someone used a vise-grip on it at some point. Closer inspection reveals this to be a manufacturing irregularity. This is hard to see way up on the ceiling. The patina may in fact be an original oil-rubbed finish. COLOR: Brass with bronze-like patina. SIZE: The fixture hangs down 30-inches. The ceiling pan is 14-inches wide. From shade to shade is 17-inches. The shades have a 2-1/4-inch fitter. CONDITION: The only issue is stress cracks to the very bottom of the fitt

Which is kinda a nutmeg/gold color(the fixtures are mostly stamped brass) The edges are exposed brass with their original protective varnish. Also of note are the sweet original finials.
