Vintage fixture. The chrome housing/ceiling canopy does show some minor blemishing to the finish relevant to age. I replaced the original socket. I had a box of unused older sockets that has the string type pull so the socket was a perfect companion to the fixture since the canopy piece does have an opening hole for the string to come through) The sockets shown in the last photo are not included with the auction listing. Vintage Art Deco Kitchen Hall Bath Ceiling Light Fixture White Glass & Chrome
Description: This ceiling fixture has a great tiered Deco shade. The main color is white. But it has three thin clear rings around the widest part of the shade. The bottom has rings that are partially clear and partially white. The condition is excellent with no chips or cracks. There is minor wear to the white at the outer bottom edge of the widest section. This can be seen in a couple of the photos if you look closely, not to be confused with the white reflection spots. The chrome shade holder is new, with a new porcelain socket and new wiring, including a ground wire. The light hangs down 7-1/2 inches, and measures 8-1/4 inches wide. The shade has a 4" fitter. This fixture takes a single light bulb. The mounting crossbar. Screws and nuts are included for easy installation. Vintage Antique Art Deco Lavender Chrome Ceiling Light Fixture Kitchen Hall 12"
For your consideration is this beautiful Art Deco light fixture from the 1920' or 30's. The glass shade is absolutely stunning with it's lavender hue due to decades of exposure to the UV rays of the sun. The bottom part of the shade is clear glass. With great Art Deco fan designs in the glass. The light measures 12" tall by 8" wide and the shade drops down from the holder 7 1/4" The ceiling mount is 5 1/2" and has it's mounting hanger attached. The chrome is in great condition, only some light scratches in the finish and a bit of copper showing through from polishing, photo#7 shows best the degree of copper, subtle. Please note in photo#6 that there is a small hole, in the photo it is on the right side. The light must have had a pull chain originally. The light has been rewired.
