It is in great antique condition with no chips. Breaks or repairs. It has a bronze finish push on and off button switch below the arm. It is very decorated with embossed roses and flowers with a big ribbon at the top and a smaller at the bottom. It has been rewired and has a ground wire. The plastic candle cover has been replaced and is cracked. It has 6 holes for prisms and probable originally had teardrops. It is quite heavy for its size and has double mounting holes on each side of the center medallion. It measures 17 1/2 inches long by 4 1/2 inches wide. The arm extends approx. 7 inches out. this is a stunning vintage solid brass wall mount electric adjustable sconce lamp. it has beautiful design and detailing and made from very thick heavy brass. it has two arms which each hold flame bulbs. there are two shades that are connected to the shaft in the back. the shades lock into place by the stylized brass nut. And goes up and down the shaft to desired location. it really changes the look and amount of light. the piece has a nice patina. And the arms are very ornate. it is topped with a gorgeous finial and is in great shape. comes with its original hanging bracket hardware. the lamp turns on and off at a switch on the wire. it measures 18 1/4 x 10 3/4 inches. Item Photos, DETAILS Vintage 3 Wrought Iron Hammered Wall Sconce Fixtures Medieval Gothic Electric Candle from a Chicago Church Estate Listing is for a set of 3 wrought iron wall sconce fixtures. Featuring a hammered texture this wall sconce fixture set consists of two smaller sconces on either side of a larger sconce. Sconces appear to have been modified with electrical wiring and vintage electric candles. Electric candles have also been decorated with wax to resemble a candle with wax dripping down the side. Architecturally these sconces have a medieval sense to them reminiscent of Gothic decor and would not be out of place if used as church or religious decor. In fact these sconces were part of a lot of items that did come from various churches in Chicago Area. Would make a good addition to your vintage medieval or gothic home decor or ... morereally they could be modified to fit a number of decor schemes. Condition: Cosmetically the sconces are in GREAT Shape with no denting or cracking. Very sturdy. Heavy and well constructed. Sconces have been modified in terms of electrical wiring. Decorative wax on the candles shows signs of wear but it's not anything that can't be redone with some more wax dripping's. The 2 brasses sconces used to be gas and have been fully converted to electric. On the rim of the one of the fitters it shows the patent date of"Pat'd.Dec896, Sept2996" The twist knob says"P& S" on the fixture it's also engraved"Weber Patents" They are in excellent working condition. The wire is newer. Upon looking at them. I'm not sure how you would mount them as there's no hardware and I don't see how you would fit it to the wall(even with the bar that's on it) I will leave it up to the new owner to determine. I figured you could drill holes into the canopy and mount it to the wall. The brass is VERY delicate ... moreand it shows it's age very much. There are some dents in it etc.which are hard to see in photos. The pictures show the cosmetic condition a little better than they actually are.The glass shades for the large fitter seem to be heavy for this lightweight of a fixture. You could replace them with something lighter or maybe more of that period. Also, one of the screws appears to be newer. The large fitter is 4 1/8" the small fitter is 2 1/4" The diameter of the canopy is 4" All of the glass shades are free of chips or cracks but do show some wear. One matched pair of vintage ornate candlestick electric sconces with original bronze finish and paint. Looks to be cast iron. Highly detailed and in fantastic condition. Very delicate working pull chain switch on both units still functions. Includes orange flame bulbs. Cloth covered wire is still in like new condition and is not bare or cracked but may need to be upgraded to be safe. Slight paint remains on edges of lamps where they meet the wall in cream and light green. No scratching or chipping. THEY ARE BEAUTIFUL! Each unit measures 10 inches long. Antique VTG Leviton milk glass electric wall sconce light lamp 110 plug no shade
Up for your consideration is an antique wall-mounted sconce light. It features a lovely Victorian style opaque white milk-glass globe. Atop of which sits a brass Leviton light socket. This uses one standard-size light bulb and turns on and off with a toggle push switch. It works great as you can see in the picture. The rest is made of some sort of heavyweight metal(I'm guessing iron) that has been painted over with glossy beige colored paint. As you can also see in the pictures, the fixture sits a little crooked in relation to the metal base, probably from people running into it over the years. The parts can be moved and adjusted easily(in my opinion) but I didn't want to mess it up, so I will leave that for the new owner to deal with. It is wired with a standard vintage 110 non-polarized plug, which will fit into any standard US ... moreelectrical outlet. So, no electrician required! There is no shade to cover the bulb. My guess is it was probably lost or broken with the passage of time. It should be easy to replace and find one to your liking if you search more here on ebay! This is a stunning rare antique electric outdoor Gothic sconce fixture from a church. It is a large sconce made from solid bronze or copper which has obtained a wonderful patina from age. made early 1900's and is a wonderfully ornate design and has some nice weight to it. it's all wired and ready to hang It is 6 sided and has a nice tapered roof with riveted vents to release heat from the bulb. the panel sides have textured glass inserts which are orange and clear glass. the sides each have a cross fencing to avoid damage to the glass and have a bronze floral piece in the center. It mounts flush to the wall with the thick bronze 6 sided wall canopy. it has a nicely curved arm which is also made from thick bronze. the piece has a great patina from age and measures 22 inches up and down by 8 inches wide and sits 10 1/2 inches from the ... morewall. there is a dent in one of the roof vents in the back. Vintage Antique Metal & Glass Figure Lady Angel Wall Pole Sconce Electric Lamp
Please review all 12 pictures using the zoom feature. This is a very unique and stunning vintage/ antique metal lady angel sconce which I assume was once mounted on a pole- either a standing pole or. More likely, a pole mounted on the wall. Overall she is 20" tall from bottom of the metal sconce to the top of the ruffled glass shade. The metal sconce is 12" then the shade sits securely into the top of the sconce once the 3 screws are turned to tighten it and hold it in place. I’m not sure what type of metal she’s made out of but she is heavy. Some of the finish has worn off in spots with the gray metal showing through but she displays nicely. Colors of the metal sconce portion are cream. Brown, goldish-brown. I have looked her over closely but don’t see any stamp or signature. The glass sconce is free of any chips. Cracks, or fleabites. ... moreThere is an overall frost to the glass then the bubble-raised panels are clear glass with frosted etchings. Every other panel is either scroll design only or scroll design plus a little sitting child/wingless cupid. The ruffle at the top is all frosted. This is a fabulous vintage piece. I bought it many years ago with the intent of rewiring her then mounting her on a pole then the wall but I never got around to it and now she wouldn’t fit into the decor of my house. The existing wire has been cut so she will need rewiring if you want her to be a functioning electric lamp. Again. This sconce is heavy. Beautiful little sconce. And has a very unique acorn finial on the pull chain. The set screws on the pierced top fitter are pretty little flowers, and all three are present. It was in use in our 1891 home until just recently when we opened up a wall to the reading nook it was in to make a master bath. I suspect it was there from when the house was wired to replace the gas lights. Our town. Bellefonte, was the second town to be electrified after Edison's home town! The sconce is wired and ready to go. But please an electrician or knowledgeable person double check the wiring to your satisfaction since it is not a new piece. The wiring is cloth covered, but doesn't look original, so may have been rewired more recently. The piece is marked 250V Hubbel 250W on the socket. And Pat Applied For on the arm. Beautiful Antique vintage Large Wall Sconce Candelabra. Has Crystals around the candle holders and the candle covers have a lovely gold drip to them. It's a rope style gold brass. I am not sure if it's brass or guilt metal. All the lights work. I have bulbs in all but one that burned out. In excellent condition. It can be wall mounted or just hung. It has a switch to turn it on and off and a cord to plug in. I've used it over my bed and it's great to just reach up and turn it off. Recently moved and am having to downsize. It measures 22 inches tall by about 43 inches wide.

It measures about 9 in. in length and 5.50 in. wide. Made of cast aluminum, the main part is a two town brown color, with faded red and green highlights on the edges. Has a standard light fixture with a working pull chain off and on switch. I is missing the wall mount bracket and the decorative finial for the front. It does work but I would recommend a new cord. EMPIRE Double Wall Sconce Electric Candle Drip Heavy Cast Working Estate Find
This is one of several wall sconces I was able to acquire from the estate of a very nice old home that was built in 1913. I am unsure of the age of the sconce. But I was told it is old. On the back it is marked PATENT PENDING EMPIRE LF. The sconce measures about 9.6" tall and is about 9.6" wide as well. It is made of a heavy metal cast and weighs about 3.6 pounds. The wiring has been replaced at some point but the old on/off switch marked BEAVER is still there with the old cloth wiring attached to it. There is some small rubbing of the paint but no chips or breaks that I can find. As I said earlier I acquired several of these as well as 2 chandeliers also marked EMPIRE. For your consideration is a vintage cast iron Eastlake style electrified wall sconce with 3 inch diameter shade/globe holder/fitter. This is a very nice quality fixture. Please note however. That THE MOUNTING BRACKET IS MISSING. The round part that would insert into the bracket is 5/16 to 3/8 inches in diameter. The socket is good quality. It turns smoothly and works well. It has a very nice brass key. The screws which secure the shade are also brass. The cord is good. This fixture does not have any makers mark or indication where it was made(other than casting numbers'2' and'3' I think it was originally made as an electric lamp but I suppose it's possible(but unlikely) that the electrics were added later. Vintage 20's 30's Brass 2 Light Electric Wall Sconce 15" by 9"
This is an old vintage antique 1920s/ 1930s brass two light electric wall sconce. It is quite heavy for its size. The plastic bake-lite candle covers have long since cracked and broken but can be replaced. I also cut the wire since they really should be replaced since they were so old and probably not safe. So it needs to be rewired, but it is a beautiful wall sconce that WILL look magnificent once again with a little T.L.C. It measures 15 inches tall by 9 inches wide and it protrudes from the wall 5.50 inches. Because it is heavy and large I need to charge a bit more for shipping. Antique Gas Wall Sconce Solid Brass Electric Crescent B.M. Co. Art Nouveau
Up for sale is a gorgeous antique gas brass wall sconce. It has been converted to electric. But it is a vintage/antique original conversion, with the original cotton wires from the early 1900's. Stamped with the maker"Crescent B.M. Co Pat'd" on the back(there is also a patent number but it is unreadable to me) I would caution any buyer who purchases to please rewire for safety reasons. Those wires are not considered safe anymore, needs new wires if going to be used. Also needs a switch. Is in good condition, with only one notable issue. It appears that at one point there was a decorative accent on the top, it has been snapped off, it looks like it never had been there in the first place, so the break happened in a natural looking place. Electric sockets have cardboard candle sticks covering the hardware, they slide off, ... morefor easy removal and access to the wires. The wiring is easy to access, so easy to replace. Height of candles are adjustable with a small screw. This is a solid brass, quality antique piece of americana. Would look excellent in any house, has a very decorative art nouveau look. This is a stunning gigantic antique solid brass ornate electric wall sconce fixture. it measures a large 28 1/2 inches long by 19 inches wide and sits 10 1/2 inches fro the wall. it is extremely ornate with exquisite detailing throughout. it has 6 very detailed arms with ornate drip plates/candle holders. And each have candle shaped sockets which hold candelabra style bulbs. it has a bow-tie backplate and an on/off switch located right on the fixture. it is all wired and ready to hang. In great shape. Super brass electric wall sconce/lantern. It has 4 panels of frosted glass that makes a nice glow when lit. The glass is good. The finish is in as found condition. It has a great patina and probably needs to be wiped down. The total length as shown is 15" It extends 8" from the wall. There is a small ding on the top. It will need to be rewired. Vintage Electric Wall Sconce~Cast Brass?~Double Light Fixture~Antique?
This sconce has Grapes. Fish and a Tassel in it's casting. Two arms with bowl like holders. It's pretty old. The end of the tassel bows upward and is not flat on the wall. Not sure if this is how it was cast or not. Needs re-wiring, has on/off switch in the middle. I'd guess it's probably close to 100 years old.from the 20's? I'm no expert, so maybe you are? Only wish I had two for a set but I only found one. Measures 16" x 13" x 7" Weighs 5-1/2 pounds. This is a heavy piece. Will ship out USPS Parcel Select(2 to 9 days) for approx. $20.00 ±. Bradley Hubbard wall sconce electric matched pair
I have a matched pair of Bradley&Hubbard wall sconces with glass globes. The design on the glass is raised and appears to be grape vines. Leaves, and grape bunches. The glass is in excellent condition- no chips. Cracks, or discoloration. The sconce body is probably brass and will need a good cleaning. All tarnish marks will come off with Brasso- I did a decent sized area with the Brasso and the base metal shone through with all tarnish gone. The units will need to be updated with new electrical wiring/sockets. The original Bryant cardboard sockets and cloth-covered wires are completely out of date. On the positive side. The chain pulls have the original'satellite' balls on the end of the chain. Issues with this pair of sconces: one sconce has a slight dent in the lower bowl approx. 3/4 inch long x.040 deep.
