This is a beautiful entry way or porch hanging lamp/light mission era. It is brass or bronze maybe even copper parts in trim. Hard to tell as parts have been painted black. The glass is beautifully designed with a type of geometric frosted clear design almost mosaic. The lamp is in the shape of a decagon and measures 6" high and 6" in diameter. Cord is in good condition, appears to have been rewired fairly recently, and has good continuity with socket. 21.5" from base of lamp to top of threaded steel. This is a nice vintage cast metal Porch Light or Wall Light with a hand blown crackle glass globe. Light was made by Thomas Industries in Hopkinsville Kentucky. Light is 24" long by 6" wide and weighs about 4 pounds. Light is in good condition with wear commiserate with age and use. LIght was in a sheltered alcove and was not directly exposed to the elements) Light would make a great adition to any home.

Restored. Vintage, chunk glass, 6 sided porch lamp/sconce, newly painted in Charleston Green. Light has been rewired to current electrical code, with ground wire. Surface has a hammered look to it. 14" tall and projects 10" Probably from the 30's. Very solidly built and has great presence. If you're artistic, or at least adventurous, you could paint the back of the glass various colors and make a stunning faux stained glass lamp. Please email with any questions. This is a wonderful pair of vintage metal Mission Arts and Crafts style Porch/Bungalow lights. Not an expert on material but I did a magnet test& it DOES NOT adhere to the metal. These are ceiling hanging fixtures with stunning caramel-colored slag glass panels. The slag glass even has a gorgeous iridescence to it. The tops look like they are riveted. The light sockets inside are still intact& usable. The sockets feel& look like porcelain. The wiring is CLOTH original to the fixtures and is still intact. Was told at the estate sale lights were hanging in place and working just fine, however, you might want to have an electrician to check them over since it still has the antique cloth wiring. Both fixtures are in exceptionally good condition for the age. Appears to have been in their original location and hung there for many many ... moreyears. The textured amber glass I was told is original to the fixtures and ALL PANELS are in good condition with no cracks or breaks. I did notice one of the panels are inserted in reverse and probably hung that way unnoticed. Also the cap that hugs the ceiling is missing on one but should be an easy replacement. Truly great pieces with normal wear from old age and a few paint spots, and minor rust nothing bad. They measure 14 inches top to bottom, and 8 inches at widest point. Antique Vintage Brass Outdoor Porch Lamp Light Lantern Frosted Floral Glass
Nice looking vintage lamp. Has a little paint on rim. Signs of wear but sits straight and no damage. Glass globe inside has a little chipping on one spot where it meets the housing. You can see condition in the pics. Solid with all nuts and screws. Just needs mount bar which is easy to find. I will try to take a picture when lighted soon. Has a good amount of wire left for install. Glass cylider is very nice and is 1/4" thick at bottom and thinner at top to fit housing. Etched flower design. About a foot tall and 8" Diameter. Antique Porch Light or Post Mount Cage Lamp Fixture Salvage Non Electric
Please enlarge and review the photos carefully so you can get a sense of just how unusual this lamp really is. We acquired it at an architectural salvage auction. I have spent an inordinate amount of time trying to find another one like it and been unable to do so. It is metal, but I can't guess what kind as it is not terribly heavy for its huge size. I believe it would have been either a porch lamp or a post mounted lamp and may have served to hold either a lantern or a very large candle. It has never been electrified. It would come out almost 12" from wherever it was mounted. The length from the bottom of the ball to the top of the spire is about 19-1/2" The cage part looks like chicken wire. The top lifts up and down and latches so that the lantern or candle can be inserted and/or maintained. The fancy little latch is in ... moreperfect working order. There are no dents and the lamp is actually in very good condition except for the heavy surface rust which has completely overtaken the entire piece. The wire is slightly pushed in. Probably from the lamp having leaned against another object, but it is minor and can probably be easily straightened. I date this piece to the late 1800s or early 1900s. This is an auction piece. Being sold as described, as is. I cannot guarantee that it has not been exposed to odors: smoking, fragrance, cooking, mustiness, mothballs, other types of storage odors or pets. Nice Vintage Nautical Lantern. Oxidized Patina with a wire cage over its glass globe. Neat loop and arrow finial. There is a small rub mark. About 1"x2" where it appears someone has tried to clean the lantern. Once out in the weather again, the nice oxidized patina should return. Needs rewire. Overall good condition. Up for auction is a Vintage Solid Copper Porch Light. The ARM may be Brass it.S hard to tell,I did not want to polish it and change the finish.The magnet will not stick, only on the pipe and nut on the back inside. The base measures just under 6" across-It is about 8" tall. I can find NO damage to the glass. There are a few dents, and a cut out on the back mounting cover as I try to show in the pictures.I did NOT try to test it. Item: VTG Aluminum Cast Porch Light Gothic Victorian Lamp Harry Potter Castle Style. Looks like it came directly off of the walls at Hogwarts Castle. Its is VERY heavy and VERY large. Was taken off of a porch of a Victorian mansion that was being demolished. The house was said to have spirits and the owner was selling anything he could before he took the bulldozer to it. Made by HADCO. Not sure of its age. I know that I could not find anything else like it. Would make an incredible addition to a haunted house attraction or to an old home. I am not stating that this item is haunted. Only that the home it came from was supposed to be haunted. The Globe is rough on the bottom from weather with bubbles and defects of older glass. There is also some darkening and chips on the lip of the globe. Exceptional design. Solid bronze/ brass, hammered finish, nice patina, low profile. Original 3 glass panes, not sure if the back had one. No other mounting hardware, looks like it only needs a center nut/ cap to attach to a wall box. 6 1/2' tall, 8 1/2" front to back, 7 3/4" wide. Front right top corner bends down slightly, might not take much to straighten, overall excellent vintage condition, wiring and socket look good.
