Antique Hand Wrought Iron 8 Light Chandelier Copper/Brass Gothic Spanish Revival
Absolutely stunning chandelier. Incredibly heavy 40 lbs or more. Just over 30 inches across making a 60 inch circumference. It is hanging down about 40 inches the way I have hooked it for the photos. Each post is 15 inches long from the leaf tip to the end of the brass and copper ball. This looks as though it has been re painted. It has been painted over on the electric wires. The iron has some slight pitting underneath in small areas but it is a normal issue considering its age. There are 4 chains plus a cap with more chain to hang lower if needed. Up for consideration is a fine set of 6 bronze 2 arm wall sconces. The sconces are very thick. Heavy, robust, very masculine if I may add they are surprisingly larger than what shows in the photos. The sconces measure 12 1/2 inches tall by 12 1/2 inches wide and 6 inches deep. They weigh about 3 1/2 pound each. The sconces are bronze and are the Spanish Revival Form with a hammered texture. c.1927 Antique Vintage Lamp Made by Leviton as marked on the electric candle Art Deco Era- Spanish Revival. Gothic Style Single-Candle Electric Wall Sconce Marked patent 11-15-27 on the candle's electric bar under the cardboard tube. It's made from metal and called polychrome finish with gold color background and highlights of blue and red in center of what looks to me like a shield design. There is a crown shape in center. Decorative volutes at top and bottom, button like flower shape in center which attaches the bracket in back. On/off switch at base. Important.this old sconce needs to be rewired. Here’s another Spanish Mediterranean Gothic Spanish Revival style in home décor during the late 1940's- 1950's and early 1960’s. This Wall Sconce is made out of genuine wrought iron. It has a flat matte painted finish and is very large measuring in at approximately 20-1/4" inches tall by 9" inches wide at the candle plates which holds two taper candles. The sconce measures approximately 4-4-1/2" inches out from the wall depending on your viewing angle and the curvature underneath the candle plate. Hope this helps. Note the hammer marks and detail on the axe and hanger. This pair of lights measure 14" tall by 5 1/4" wide and stand out from the wall 7 1/2" The sconces have their original textured glass shades. One of the shades does have three chips around the fitter mouth, it does not affect them holding in the fitter and does not show when the sconces are together. These Tudor revival cast iron sconces originally came out of a 1920's Tudor manor in New Jersey. And were installed in my California Tudor, where they hung by my fireplace for 10 years. They have been restored and rewired to modern standards. The wiring and switches are newer. But they are otherwise original, including the mounting screws. I believe the candle sleeves to be newer, but they are true to the period. These gorgeous fixtures would look great in any Tudor. Spanish, Gothic or Eclectic decor. Pair Vintage Wrought Iron Gothic Spanish Revival Candle Holder Wall Sconces
This is a great looking pair of vintage wrought iron Gothic/Spanish revival candleholder wall sconces. I'm not sure how old they are. But you can see they have good age. One measures 12 1/2 inches tall. The other 13 inches(31.8 cm, 33 cm) They're each 9 inches wide(22.9 cm) They protrude from the wall 3 3/4 inches(9.5 cm) The detailed hand work is really beautiful. They're all original and have never been repainted. They each have a little hole on the flat star base of the candleholder section. So with a little ingenuity they can actually be turned into lights if you like. They're both in very good condition. With just embedded dust on them and a few tiny areas where paint has chipped off. Since they're hand wrought. The little swirls are each a little different looking. They're definitely not just out of a mold. They've ... moredeveloped a great old patina. Gothic Swag Lamp Spanish Wrought Iron and Wood Reconditioned Very Nice
This is a very nice Vintage Wrought Iron and Wood Gothic Spanish Style Swag Light. It has been completely rewired and restored and is ready to go with brand new chain. Wiring and new lamp socket. Chain is 10' long and wiring is 12' long. I was unhappy with the way a standard light bulb lit up this fixture so I purchased a new tube style lamp that runs the entire length of the amber crackle glass dome/globe which is all one piece. You can see from the pictures how this lights the entire globe without dark spots in the light. It makes it much nicer. This will ship with the bulb removed as it is too delicate with it's long length and filament to be shipped installed in the lamp. Pair of Tudor, Gothic or Spanish Revival Cast Bronze Sconces from 20's
This high-quality pair of Tudor. Gothic and/or Spanish Revival cast bronze double-light wall fixtures dates back to the 1920's. They don't make fixtures like this anymore. These are very substantial but are elegant. Each sconce measures 17" in height(to the top of the light bulb) with a 7 1/2" width, and projects 3 1/2" from the wall. The round back plate has a 5" diameter. The sconce design features shields and fleur de lis. The sconces have been rewired at some point and have functioning switches, but I would recommend having them inspected by an electrcian. They are in great condition and still have their original patina and what appears to be the original painted metal candle sleeves. Other internet sites specializing in vintage lighting have similar sconces in comparable condition for between $685- $795. Please ... morenote that the period-correct bulbs do not come with the fixtures, although I will let you know where to find them if you are interested in this look.

Antique/Vintage Gothic Art Deco Spanish Revival Wall Sconces NEW Wiring Sockets
A pair of heavy ornate antique/vintage electric wall two-light sconces in working order. The old sockets were broken or missing so I had them replaced with new sockets and wiring. A white plastic sleeve is also included which slips over the cardboard lined socket to give the old style look of a candle. They have been tested and are working. The hand on/off switches are not wired as most people will want to operate them from a wall switch. They are made of what appears to be cast iron with a polychrome type finish which does show some age wear plus some house paint on the edges. Approximately 8.5" wide by 10" high. They are unmarked but may be early Lincoln sconces as the thistle is a common motif in their work. The sconces have good quality casting are heavy and well made. They have a painted tin back plate which is painted blue. The blue is somewhat faded. The sconces have replaced finials on the bottom of each socket. Heavy wrought iron, they were hand made to install directly onto the wall and they have a great Gothic designer look. Lots of twists and curls. The wiring is original and they still have the original bakelite on/ off switches. These are super rare. Here's a Great Pair of 1920s Gothic Sconces with Wonderful Original Paint and Finish. Offered at NO RESERVE! These sconces came from a mansion in Rumson, NJ, colloquially known as"The Castle" and long since torn down. I was able to purchase most of the lighting from the home, and there was amongst it work by Oscar Bach, while the ornamental iron work was done by Samuel Yellin. What a place it was. Anyway I'm cleaning out one of my storages and I came across these, they have been sitting around for over 10 years so it's time for them to find a new home. The condition of these is truly outstanding for the age with the original polychrome paint and copper lustre finish. The only minor issue is that one decorative loop is missing on one, they hang loosely so you could either replace it with something similar, remove all ... moreof them, or replace them with prisms or something else entirely. Notice the detail and workmanship, it's hard to see but in the last photo even the back plates have nicely rendered relief decoration of knights and horse heads. The sconces are signed by the maker, WJW Co. which I'm not familiar with, any help would be appreciated. THE WIRING IS OLD AND A FIRE HAZARD, IT MUST BE COMPLETELY REPLACED BY A PROFESSIONAL LICENSED ELECTRICIAN PRIOR TO USE. The faux candle covers for the sockets are in need of replacement. There are areas, almost all to the backs, where paint got on them(see pictures) there are only a couple small spots in visible areas which may need a bit of remediation, I think they're fine the way they are. HUGE MID-CENTURY ELECTRIC WALL SCONCE LAMP This is a really cool large electric(plug into an outlet) wall sconce! The wood plaque portion measures 28" in height. 5 1/2" in length, and 2" in depth. The light extends out from the wall approx 7" The crackle glass is amber in color. The metal is a bronze color, but I don't know whether it's bronze or brass. There is a long chain measuring approx 90" in length. The electrical cord'inside' the chain has a small portion of electrical tape around it, which I'm assuming covers a break. The light works well. ANTIQUE FRENCH SPANISH GOTHIC IRON 3 LANTERN LAMP CHANDELIER AMBER STAINED GLASS
Very beautiful. Antique to vintage, French or Spanish, Gothic style, chandelier. Features a large, ornate, scrolled wrought iron frame which is black with gold gilt accents. The chandelier is 3 arm/light. Each arm houses a large lantern with 4 stained glass panels. The glass is dark amber which changes to a lovely gold in the light. At certain angles and in certain light, the fixture appears to have two different colors of glass. The glass is textured on the interior with a smooth exterior. The glass is held in place with tabs on the interior of the lanterns and with screws at the top of the lantern frames. Each lantern is topped with an ornate, large twisted finial. This accent is repeated on the bottom of the fixture. A floral pattern bobeche sits below each lantern. The lanterns are open on the top and bottom. The are angled with the top ... moresections wider and they narrow toward the bottom. The chandelier is quite nice and in very good condition. It retains the original ceiling cover/canopy. The canopy is fluted and the gold and black colors are repeated here as well. There is a yellow UL sticker inside the canopy but there are no manufacturer's marks. The initials of"G.S. are painted on the top of one of the arms. I do not know if this is a maker's mark or if this was added sometime later. It is not visible when the chandelier is hanging. The wiring is cloth wrapped. The cloth has worn in a few areas but the wiring is still in good condition. The sockets appear to have been updated at some point. Each arms houses one socket and utilizes one standard sized bulb. The chandelier is large and measures 27" in diameter and 24" tall(excluding chain) There is approximately 17" of wire and hanging chain(original black iron) Each of the lantern arms is 13" tall from bottom to top of finial.
