Vintage Cast Pot Metal Ceiling Light Fixture Art Deco 2-Bulb Flush Mount Painted
From a local estate. Here is a beautiful older ceiling light fixture. This is painted pot metal and is set up for two bulbs, it measures about 12.75" end to end, about 7" across the middle. Sockets, mounting piece, and finial are intact. Will definitely need to be cleaned and rewired, but a good start, no damage at all. Classic art deco styling, should restore to a showpiece. Antique Ceiling Hanging Light Fixture Chandelier 5-Bulb Electric Brass Metal
For your restoration pleasure. Here is a lovely antique ceiling fixture. Mixed metal construction, the socket covers, bottom body, and ceiling rose are brass, the arms are probably pot metal, and the upper body part is steel. It measures about 18" across at the sockets, hangs down approximately 16" from the ceiling to the end of the finial. All five sockets include the shade screws and the individual switches are intact and seem to work properly. The lamp will of course need to be rewired. And it has developed a fair amount of oxidation, tarnish, and finish loss. Other than that, the fixture is in remarkably solid condition, should restore to a show piece or could be enjoyed as found if you appreciate a shabby, original look. This vintage light fixture has such great design on the piece. It's all around the outside and then then ittle circle in the middle of the light. Its in great shape. No cracks or chips. Is a cream color with the flowers. There isn't a chain switch that should go in that hole. You can always purchase one in a restoration strore. The flowers pink and yellow. My eBay name says it all.liquidators. I was an eBay seller back in 2000 and I sold to meet a financial goal. Life has a way of taking over such that when my goal was hit my inventory just sat in storage. Well. I have to admit not only did it sit but over the years I have added to it. Due to my fiancé in all likelihood having to move overseas due to work in 2015 and me tagging along I HAVE TO liquidate my inventory. And yes, I have that much that I need to start now. So, I will be listing an item auction style and if within a certain time frame it is not sold it is going to a consignment auction house. So, if you like it, get it while the getting is good. My prices will be rock bottom due to the amount of items which need to be sold. I really am trying to liquidate my inventory but I have to admit my true passion is architectural salvage ... morework. This I can't stop doing and I just love saving these wonderful items before the elements of nature or bulldozer claims them. I salvaged 3 of these beautiful lights from a turn of the century home in the Northeast. These were covered in paint and I painstakingly removed the paint to expose the brass and porcelain. The brass base features an Art Nouveau floral motif with two porcelain mini shades for each bulb. The original finial is also here. It measures about 6" by 12" The shipping and handling can be calculated. I have two or a pair of antique wall or ceiling light fixtures made by Markel Electric Product Inc. with marking patent date 3-29-27. They are made of cast iron. Double(two) bulb with finial hanging in center. Some wear, but original paint looks to be a light beige color on the base with light green leaves and pink/peach accent flowers. Needs some cleaning and touch up.I have not cleaned them. Original wiring, sockets and hardware seems to all be here, with the exception that one fixture is missing the nut that goes on the bolt to hold finial, which can easily be replaced for a cents on the dollar. Lighting palace in Sacramento Ca appraised this fixture between $150-$175 before it was rewired and cleaned. Fixture is real cast iron and compared to most overs that I have held and seen its heavy, weighs between 3-4 lbs. This fixture measures 12" X 6" and the drop is 5" to the tip of the original style finial. Deluxe version includes flared socket covers and a tassel finial.

Wonderful old ceiling light from around 1920. The light was original painted but the finish was not salvageable. I stripped it down to the copper plated steel. It's a cool look. If you're going to use this somewhere moist I'd suggest lacquering it but anywhere else it will age wonderfully over time. Mounting finial and hardware included! 12" by 6"

here is a nice pair of ceiling light fixtures. I believe that they came from a house built in the 1930's. They each measure approx. 12" long. A little paint to match and they should look great.
