The covers are“held” in place by aluminum. Um, arms. There are also aluminum flourishes at the top and bottom of the chandeliers. There are six arms. Nice, and each holds six amethyst glass drops. These appear to be original. There is an additional drop in the center(these seem to be replacements) The pipe stems are covered in cloth cord. I also love how the arms sweep down and up. The chandeliers are an impressive 21-inches wide. They are 33-1/2-inches long(to the bottom of the cloth tassel) And 26-3/4-inches minus the tassel. If you need the fixtures shorter, I can reduce the length of the pipe stem a few inches. If you need them longer please contact me. I lusted after this exquisite pair for a long time. It was a thrill to at last purchase them. They are so very beautiful; I love just simply staring at them. Wholly restored and with new wiring. I’m very pleased to offer this rare and remarkable pewter and crystal chandelier! I’m uncertain as to the exact age of the chandelier. It might be very late 1930s. I believe it’s 1940s. I’m certain it’s not earlier or later. I’m certain. Too, as to its beauty. And rarity. I’ve never offered a chandelier like it. All the metal components appear to have a pewter finish. Nice. Each arm has distinctive crystals. The hurricane shades are particularly lovely; that they remain in situ is frankly amazing. I also like the expressive glass stem. The chandelier is clearly modeled after an Argand lamp. From Wikipedia: The Argand lamp was new to Thomas Jefferson in Paris in 1784. Which according to him gave off"a light equal to six or eight candles. These new lamps. While more complex and costly than the previous primitive oil lamps, were first adopted by the well-to-do but soon spread to the middle classes and eventually the less well-off as well. Argand lamps were manufactured in a great variety of decorative forms and quickly became popular in America. This fixture is. Obviously, a delightfully faux Argand lamp chandelier. The chain is original. As is the ceiling canopy. The exposed wire is cloth-covered like the original. I would say the the chandelier. At 17-1/2-inches wide. Is medium in scale. To me. Finding such a fixture is a special treat. And bringing life back to it is even better. It’s hard to express, but seeing the chandelier literally full of light once again makes

Can hang about 38" from ceiling. Chain has oxidizing on it. Shade about 12" diameter. Crystal Chandelier has a feather motif not often seen. While the shade is one of the most popular ones with the leaf and berry design. Very poplular during the 1920's thru the 1940's and now again back in style. The light and cap are porcelain most likely by Porcelier for Sears and Roebuck called Harmony House. Hello. This is a beautiful old light fixture prob. from the 20's or 30's. It actually looks as if it may have never been instaled. The little springie contact point in the bottom of the sockets(see pics) looks to haver never been pushed down, and I am talking about all 4. Of course the wireing is decayed and needs redone. Rewired, only the four chain sockets have not been changed, there are working good. Canopy, body components, and finial have normal use due the age, shades have no chips or cracks. Plus 4 or 5 inches of chain and a brass cover at the ceiling, and from the top of the fixture to the bottom of the shades the height is about 35" It has three brass arms with a light at the end of each of them. Plus a light in the center of the fixture. Up for auction is a pre-owned Vintage all brass CHANDELIER ceiling light fixture with 4 outside lights and 1 center light with the dome center frosted and cut glass shade. The light fixture is all brass but have some of the areas painted a tan or light brown color. Light have 4 heavy cast brass ornate 4-light chandelier arm with the flat on/off knobs( knobs are marked BRYANT) Light has a 20" long chain and the domed ceiling mount cover cap. All the fixture shades are frosted with cut in detailed design( cut in design is the clear glass) and gives off a soft. Warm glow when lit. BULBS ARE NOT INCLUDED IN THE AUCTION! I cannot find a signature on the light. SIZE: Approximately 20 1/2" across the arms and 47" from the domed ceiling mount cover to the bottom of the shade. The 4 outside smaller shades are 5" from top to bottom ... moreoutside, top of these shades are 1 7/8" on the inside and 2 3/16" aross to the outside. The bottom of the 4 smaller shades are 3 1/2" across to the inside and 3 3/4" aross to the outside. The big center dome shade is 9 1/2" across the inside and 9 3/4" aross to the outside, and approx. 5 1/2' deep. CONDITION:I was real careful when I tried the light because of fraded and bare wires, but all the light sockets worked as shown in the pictures. The light DOES HAVE SOME CRACKS IN BRASS AROUND THE RIMS OF THE 4 OUTSIDE LIGHT, WHERE THE SHADE SCREWS ARE LOCATED, I do not think that these small crack will hurt any thing because when screwed in tight they hold the shades firmly in place. THERE IS ALSO A CRACK IN THE ADJUSTABLE TUBE, THAT ATTACH TO THE HOUSE CEILING FIXTURE(SEE PICTURES)All the shades are free of any cracks, but all have some light roughness, small flea bites around the top rims which cannot be seen when the shades are placed properly in the frame. Vintage Art Nouveau 4 Arm Pan Light Chandelier with Center Dome Light
A wonderful almost all original pan light chandelier from the 1920's or 30's. Light has 4 arms and a center dome light. Light has been re-wired. Has 3 out of the 4 original Arrow fat boy paddle socket switches. The fourth switch has been replaced with a new period correct paddle switch which I installed in the original Arrow casing. The center light socket is original and the finish is all original. The hanging chain was replaced and I had to use a couple of different shade holding screw on one hanging cup which will not really be noticeable. As I said, the light has its original finish, a wonderful light milk chocolate color with gold highlights on the fantastic embossing around the bottom of the pan and on the hanging shade holders and ceiling bell. The center dome is 12" across, 5" deep and has a 10" fitter and is ... morefrosted with a cut to clear flower or starburst design. The dome does have some chipping on the inside of the fitter edge but is not affected by this. The center dome also has about a 1 1/4" crack that I found while taking the photos for this listing, imagine my disappointment. I did not see the crack all of the time I was cleaning and working on this light, thought maybe it occurred when I put in a bulb and turned it on so I have had the light on and off for extended periods of time to make sure the crack would not get bigger. It has not changed at all so I believe it is stable and will be fine if handled with care. The crack is just above the widest part of the dome and will probably not be visable when hung. I have included a photo of the crack. The pan is 15" across and total width, end of arm to end of arm is 22" Total hanging length is about 34" The arm socket holders are made for shades that have a 2 1/4" fitter. I will let the new owner install their own choice of shades if any. The light does have some minor scuffs and paint loss but is really nice for its age. 4 Light Hanging Chandelier Victorian/Edwardian nice design
4 Light Chandelier perfect for your Parlor or Dining Room. Overall this is in decent shape but you should rewire it( extra roll of wire included) The globes are replacements and are new. Very nice detailing on it including the hanging tassel. I have had this for awhile but its just a little too new for my house which is circa 1870. This is an appropriate light for any late Victorian/Edwardian or even craftsman home. This hangs down from the ceiling about 30 inches. Easy to add chain if you need more length for over a dining room. I prefer pickup on this due to the galss globes but I will ship for 22.50 within lover 48. Antique vtg Victorian 2 arm + 4" fitter chandelier light fixture Beardslee mark
Victorian era light made by Beardslee(stamped"B" in a fleur de lis on the canopy) This light was painted in heavy paint and I was able to strip just about all of it. Still some in corners and crevasses. The fixture has 3 socket shells but none of them have their guts so you'll need to get 2 turnkey sockets for the 2 1/4" fitters and one keyless socket for the 4" downward facing fitter socket. The canopy has some light bending in places as do the fitters. Complete with all screws. I did have to add a short piece of tubing and it's not quite the same color as the original(see photo 3) I have added new all-thread AND a mounting crossbar so all you need is socket parts and wiring to get this light up and lit. 13" long to the tip of the fitter and 18" wide. Disassembled for shipping.

Up for sale is a 4 Light Hammered Bronze Chandelier. I am not sure if this is more Gothic Revival or Arts and Crafts in style. It was retailed by John? of Pennsylvania. The label is a gold foil and is 1/2 missing. The piece has cloth wiring and is in working condition. The sockets have a E with an arrow going through it. It is quite a heavy piece at almost 14 pounds. The piece hangs 22" from the ceiling and is 17" wide. The ceiling cap is made of a different material- it feels like a heavy tin. Would look great with some Quezal shades. I have included two etched glass iridescent finish shades. Which came with the piece when purchased. It sold for $2800 back then so you know it's high quality. There are 6 lights. It measures 54" 4 1/2 ft. long and 20" across the widest part. It has a very pretty ornate ceiling plate and it can be plugged into track lighting or wired to your ceiling. It was working perfectly when we took it down so it will not need rewiring. The only thing I could find wrong is a few of the large crystals are chipped. If you look at picture 11 you might be able to see. Rewired with modern materials, ready to hang and enjoy. Illuminated fixture picture(the dark pix) shows the great globe color you can expect through the flying saucer- shaped TRANSLUCENT TWO SIDED GLASS; molded with almost white light almond interior. Outsides are swirled translucent rust& chocolate streaks, fully fused glossy to the OUTSIDE of the glass shade, an example of incredible mastery of this glass molding technique) although the picture by no means reveals the actual room light quality or quantity(used severe underexposure to highlight the globes) that this 4 bulb hanging fixture which provides room-filling lighting even loaded with low watt CF bulbs(included) ... moreas show. Soft yet powerful. Rewired with modern materials( new cord and CERAMIC sockets) but no changes visible from outside. This light is in use now. This is a really beautiful antique light fixture. It is a hanging ceiling mount chandelier type fixture for restoration. I think it is 1930's and has an art deco look to it. There is a clear glass shaft with really thick glass. looks much thicker then normal glass shafts. It holds 4 standard bulbs. The glass arm measures 12.5 inches long. Overall 34.5" inches long. The sockets are marked PAISTE on the knobs/switches. This could be painted or left as it is. Total weight is a little over 6 lbs. Fixture width about 16" and lenght the same. Each socket has all the screws to hold the glass shade on. Shades are in pretty god condition for their age. The rims aren't perfect. But that should be expected. We are pleased to offer this beautiful. Antique(early 20th century) Art Nouveau, Arts and Crafts brass chandelier. This pan fixture features brilliant brass with sleek lines and nice detail. The brass pan has a stepped, domed design with three distinct sections. It is slightly cone shaped and narrows at the bottom with a round finial accent. The brass chains are quite nice and long and lead to the large, original bell shaped ceiling cover/canopy. There are four old glass ruffle shades that are included with the chandelier. The fixture is in very good condition. There are a couple of very minor"dings" that are not distracting or severe. This antique(probably 1930's era) ceiling light fixture is made of metal. Possibly copper or a copper wash over base metal for the circular portion. The arms and bulb housings appear to be cast and are probably base metal. The circular center cap was probably flush mounted to a ceiling(mounting screws or connectors are NOT present) Four hanging electrical housings with individual old plastic turn knobs on each hang decorative cast arms. The on/off knobs are black and are marked"Weber" There are no other manufacturer markings on the piece. The center round cap is about 11.75" in diameter. Excluding the arms. Diameter from the outer edge of arm to outer edge of opposite arm is about 16" The very old bits of wiring still present are obviously not usable. 4 gold vintage French satin lightshades. Although these are the same shape and look the same. They are two different shades of gold and a millimetre different in height. fabric on a vellum/card. These are the type which simply clip on to the light bulb. approx. 13.5cm high. 6.8 cm top rim diameter. 10.3 cm bottom rim diameter. condition- The have a few marks and stains. Inside and out. All the clips are good. Just a little dusty. These are'as found' and are dusty here and there but on the whole they are good with some minor cosmetic problems but no more than one should expect of such an item.
