Each holder surrounding the ornate circle center has holders-if you wish to add just wonderful candles or you could have this electrified as no one had it eletrified ever before as it is very old and yet extremely well taken care of. I purchased it directly in France and it dates to the late 1800's. We deal in a lot of lighting. But this is one of the most exceptional fixtures I've ever seen. The fixture looks like iron with a copper or brass inlay. It has some paint on it, but much of it is worn off. It's an extremely well made fixture, the quality is excellent. It weighs about 12 pounds. It's in excellent working condition and appears to have newer wiring. The fixture is very primitive in that it's not perfectly"true" One of the arms is slightly bent, there are some screws loose, the trays below the candelabras are moveable. NICE ART AND CRAFTS SLAG GLASS GOTHIC HANGING PORCH LIGHT
This auction is for a neat Art and Crafts period Gothic style hanging porch light. It has 8 slag glass and amber glass panels. The light has a great look but has a few minor losses that are not too noticable. Especially if it is hanging. First it is missing two decorative finials, one on one top corner and one on the bottom. One amber glass panel has some light crackling to the glass. It is not broken through and the glass is in tact. It is also missing the piece that would cover the wiring where it gos into the ceiling. There is some light paint loss to the metal but it only serves to give the light character. This a fabulous antique Stickley Era hammered brass and wrought iron hanging pendant lamp. It measures 17" tall and the design is that of the Arts& Crafts/ Spanish Revival Era featuring florets. Leaves, and a beautiful large amber glass prism. It is very detailed and has a hammered surface that appears copper in color although I believe the metal is actually brass or wrought iron. The upper part of the lamp is brass as is shown by the interior section. The original cloth wiring is still intact and lamp is in good working condition but the new owner may want to have wiring replaced just to be safe. All are in very good condition but the amber prism does have flea bite nicks around the edges. Offered is a beautiful Gothic antique sanctuary lamp circa 1880s. It boasts very ornate arms.Chains and is highly embellished. It still retains the red candle font. From the top of the hanging cup(part from which the three chains hang off) it is approximately 44" long and approximately 14" wide. With the chain included above the cap the overall total length is approximately 78" long. Length can be adjusted by removing some chain. This beautiful lamp is mostly solid brass but the embellishments are brass plate and some of it is worn. The embellished parts are the flower garland, the crown which sits on the top of the font and the piece which rests on the font face. The best way I could ... moredescribe it is anything that looks like an overlay are the embellished parts. Most of it is in very good condition and only parts of it have worn spots. It still displays beautifully and any minor flaws only adds to the vintage charm of this spectacular lamp. This is a very Large architectural fixture that weighs 40.8 pounds and measures 31 and 3/4" tall by 17 and 1/2" across. There are 6 anchor hooks in the top center where this light could be suspended from. There are 3 light sockets around the top center and one large light socket that faces the bottom glass. I have not tested this lamp so I am unsure if it works. There are 6 White Glass panes. This is a very unusual Medieval looking light. Here is a beautiful old vintage Spanish hanging light. It is a wrought iron in a hexagonal shape with the ornate scrollwork panels and scrolled top that attaches to a long chain for hanging. It is painted an antique gold and is in good working condition. Originally there appears to have been glass in the panels(6 pieces)you could easily have any color stained 0r textured glass replacements cut.they are simply held by tabs that bend over the glass. This is an auction for a neat Gothic ceiling light or chandelier. This has five arms separated by five cast iron shields. At the end of the arms are light sockets. This is made out of iron and the wiring appears to be from the 1930's, IT NEEDS TO BE REWIRED. This is a very rare fixture. The lamp measures 21 X 22 inches not counting the chain. This came from a local estate, and has been storage for years. There is a little rust on the arms, which help verify the age. This is an no reserve auction after the opening bid. This vintage/antique lamp is from an estate. It stands 17" tall and is 12" in diameter. There are six sides(4 1/2" wide) and six sharp metal points at the top and bottom. There are metal pieces on each side that would have held glass panels at one time. The fixture hangs from a 15" metal link chain and there is a metal floral looking base that secures to the ceiling. The lamp has one socket in the center which is surrounded by a 8 sided metal"cup" The lamp will need to be rewired and new glass panels replaced if desired. They are made from solid brass and have a hammered and riveted design to almost all the parts(even the piece that holds the candle cover in place) They are all electric, take standard size bulbs, and appear to have the original(very old) wiring. Measures 24" height. 13 1/2" across counting eht end rolls. The hexagon centerpiece is 8 1/4" across. 11 foot chain 8 counting the cord of 4' 6" without chain for a total lenght cord of 15' 6" It has a on- off switch and works well. Very nice piece.
