Antique Tudor Revival Medieval Gothic Deco Nouveau Moe-Bridges Style Chandelier
This is an antique chandelier light fixture with five lights. It came out of a victorian home and was probably a replacement when the gaslights were taken out. It looks like a Moe-Bridges light fixture but I am not sure because I can't find any marks on it. It has been professionally rewired and works great. It is heavy and made of brass and painted metal. It has red. Green and gold colors in the decoration. There are some chips on some of the painted areas especially the finial that hangs down on the bottom of the fixture. I didn't want to change or alter the finish at all so I left it as is. I hung the fixture on a ladder to photograph it hanging but I am sure it would look much better hanging from the ceiling in your home. The actual body of the fixture measures 25" long and about 20" wide. The chain and ceiling cover ... moremeasure another 24" long. The fixture and chain measure approximately 49" long. Vintage Gothic Metal Candle Chandelier Large 116" Circumfrance
Up for auction a wonderful vintage chandelier.This auction is for a large chandelier there are four smaller ones if still avaliable as a bin. They were working the day before I purchased them they came from a restaurant and this large one is a pick up only. I am not sure of their exact age. First I will start by saying they are DUSTY and you will need to clean them I was afraid of getting any electrical areas wet that is why I did not want to clean them. Second they are a hammered metal and they may or may not have some scratches on them you may want to give them a coat of spray paint or keep as is. I would respray them using a hammered metal color.Also only on this large one when the men were loading it with no care they broke one of the light bulb sockets this will need replaced. I love the look of Gothic. Castle, mediterainian, of course ... moreI grew up in an old 1800's funeral home. You can also purchase the candle covers at lowes if you like. This measures 116" in circumference edge to edge to the outer cancel holder 50" accross. 35-3/4' inner circle rim to rim. the depth of the circle material is 4-9/16" 34" from the bottom to the top of the ceiling plate. If you look which is also included the restaurant had put two spot lights on the top you can remove or keep along with threaded rod extenders that allow the chandelier to be hung in a very tall hallway or foyer not shown but included are also two metal matching black poles that cover the threaded extenders and wires if hanging in a tall area.Really nicer than pic's. Antique Chandelier Tudor Gothic Cast Iron Brass Vintage Polychrome Aluminum
Offered here is a lovely decorative cast aluminum polychrome chandelier with crystal accents. This piece has been fully rewired. Cleaned and restored. As with all of our antique and vintage lighting, this piece is ready to install in your home. Notice the green and red highlighted details on the ornate portions of the light. This kind of work is called polychrome. And is very common for piece produced in the 1930's for the American lighting market. A piece like this was frequently ordered for a few dollars from a catalog. Most of this frame is made of cast aluminum and brass. The socket interiors are new. Though we retained the exterior of the sockets to match. The five crystal prisms are cut in an'almond' pattern. And are made of fire polished Italian crystal. Antique 1920's Large Church Chandelier Lantern Light w/ Gothic Details
Beautiful 1927/ 1928 lantern chandelier salvaged from an old church. This beautiful antique piece is rare in that it's perfect for decorating both hanging or sitting on a surface. It is made of hammered iron- I would guess. By the age and look, that it is hand-hammered- and textured glass panels. The glass is removable as shown in the first photo. It has six sides and a piece of glass on the bottom that can be removed as well. The lantern can be used as a light- you can put four bulbs in the fixture- or as a decoration without the light fixture. It does need rewired if being used for that purposed. As the wires were cut when they were salvaged. The fixture, however, can be removed with two screws. Without the fixture, you could use it as a planter on a porch or deck, or with candles, etc. The total height is 38" The glass enclosure ... moreis 26" high and the stem/top is 12" high. Antique Hand Wrought Iron 8 Light Chandelier Copper/Brass Gothic Spanish Revival
Absolutely stunning chandelier. Incredibly heavy 40 lbs or more. Just over 30 inches across making a 60 inch circumference. It is hanging down about 40 inches the way I have hooked it for the photos. Each post is 15 inches long from the leaf tip to the end of the brass and copper ball. This looks as though it has been re painted. It has been painted over on the electric wires. The iron has some slight pitting underneath in small areas but it is a normal issue considering its age. There are 4 chains plus a cap with more chain to hang lower if needed. We are pleased to offer this unusual carved wood hanging lamp! This antique to older vintage fixture is very large. It features 6 panels in a combination of carved wood and wrought iron. The six panels have large arched windows with ornate carving above and below the arched openings. The panels are further adorned with large. Dimensional, carved wood lion face onlays. The lion face accents are located both on the upper and lower section of each panel for a total of 12. The top and bottom of the fixture features ornately scrolled wrought iron. The iron is twisted and forms the frame for the wood panels. There are 6 twists that run in between each panel. Attached to them are six twists that exend outside the wooden frame. This is a beautiful old fixture with lots of character and wonderful details. It is in good antique condition with minor ... moresigns of age. The patina is beautiful with some minor spots of expected rust on the iron. There is no glass and I do not see any evidence that there ever was. The fixture has one light socket located on the upper section of the interior. The wiring is older but in okay condition. The pendant is quite large. It measures 33" from the bottom of the fixture to the top of the circular ringed finial. The fixture is 13" in diameter measuring from the outer wrought iron twists. We deal in a lot of lighting. But this is one of the most exceptional fixtures I've ever seen. The fixture looks like iron with a copper or brass inlay. It has some paint on it, but much of it is worn off. It's an extremely well made fixture, the quality is excellent. It weighs about 12 pounds. It's in excellent working condition and appears to have newer wiring. The fixture is very primitive in that it's not perfectly"true" One of the arms is slightly bent, there are some screws loose, the trays below the candelabras are moveable. None of this affects the use of the light. One of the candle holders has a chip in it. The fixture ... morehas an aged, vintage patina. There are certain areas(like around the lights and near canopy) that appear rusty but it's not rust; it's part of the copper/brass inlay. Please use zoom feature to see details in all photos. It has a pendulum that swings from the bottom. The design on it is reminiscent of an old renaissance/medieval church or the Spanish Revival. Quite dramatically, four large ravens(I think) holding the shades. Beautiful early 1900s cast iron Gothic/Mission style 5 light chandelier. Perfect for putting that original touch on a home renovation. It's got beautiful colors and a shield/knight look to it. It was solid black when I picked this up at the estate. I gave it a quick wash and a lot of dirt and grime came off. I think with a good power wash it would clean up beautifully and look brand new! It measures 19" across at the widest points. Rare Vintage Gothic Red, Amber Light Fixture Chandelier
Rare Vintage Gothic Red and Amber-Colored Plastic. Wood, Metal Light Fixture Upfor auction is a Rare Vintage Gothic Hanging Ceiling Light. It has a pattern of alternating Red and Amber curved plastic panes separated by curved brown wood panels. Underneath the shade are four curved metal candle holders that hold electric candles. Each chandle holder has four decorative leaves that compe part way up the electric candle. Keeping true to the pattern of the chandelier. The candle holders have an alternating pattern of red, amber and wood beads that circle it. The Wood panels have a pretty metal flower near the bottom. The Chain is at least 12 feet long and feels very heavy. The last picture is of the on off knob. This is unqiue chandelier fixture is lovely. Up for sale is a Vintage Medieval Gothic Mission Church Chandelier 6 Light Hanging Fixture. The fixture looks like iron with a copper or brass inlay. It's an extremely well made fixture. The quality is excellent. It weighs about 13 pounds. It's in excellent working condition and the wiring looks to be in great shape. The fixture has an aged, vintage patina. The iron has a bit of rust which comes off quite easily, the rest of the fixture is intact, some of the panels on the inside have lost some of the metal where the screws come through, but the construction is still quite sturdy. Up for sale is a 4 Light Hammered Bronze Chandelier. I am not sure if this is more Gothic Revival or Arts and Crafts in style. It was retailed by John? of Pennsylvania. The label is a gold foil and is 1/2 missing. The piece has cloth wiring and is in working condition. The sockets have a E with an arrow going through it. It is quite a heavy piece at almost 14 pounds. The piece hangs 22" from the ceiling and is 17" wide. The ceiling cap is made of a different material- it feels like a heavy tin. Would look great with some Quezal shades. I have included two etched glass iridescent finish shades. Which came with the piece when purchased. Antique Victorian Gothic Mission Hanging Candelabra Chandelier Iron Arts Crafts
Up for Auction! Great! antique chandelier for restoration or left as shabby. Will need rewiring as original 2 wire cloth covered wiring was falling apart and has been partially removed and it is missing socket covers. 22" tall and 20" across. Constructed of brass fittings and wrought iron body. It has a 9" chain attached to a ceiling plate and a 2 3/4" finial attached to the chain and the top of the light. In between lights is some ornate iron work and on the back of the center circles there are tabs to hold something in place.possibly a center prism medallion. It is in pretty decent condition and doesn't look like it needs much work.
