Antique Art Deco Brass Hanging Chain Ceiling Light With Glass Shade This is an antique Art Deco hanging chain ceiling light with a white and tan satin glass shade. The ceiling and light socket fixture are both brass. The chain is brass coated metal. All parts were tested with a magnet. The magnet doesn't stick to the brass parts. But does stick to the chain. It comes with the original cast iron hanging hardware. The light hangs from the ceiling 30" The brass ceiling fixture is 5 1/4" in diameter. The shade measures 7" in diameter and 3 3/4" tall. It has the original ceramic socket and cloth insulated wires. There are several breaks in the insulation, so the lamp will have to be rewired. The glass shade is in very good condition, with no chips or cracks. There are wear marks from where the pull chain rubbed on the outside ... moreof the shade. These can be seen in the last picture. Antique Brass Light Fixture Hanging Pull Chain Hallway Closet Stairway Ceiling
Up for auction is an antique brass light fixture. Ceiling mount with a pull chain. I'm guessing it's brass. It is not magnetic. Looks like brass. Has a cloth cord. Black piece between the cord and fixture is plastic or bakelite. It uses a standard size bulb. I don't know if it works. I have no way of testing it. The pull chain does click when pulled. It's in good used condition. No cracks. Chips, or breaks. Brass shows wear, scuffs, marks, paint marks. It might be able to be cleaned/polished. I haven't tried, I'll leave that to the experts. I think it has character the way it is now. Cloth wrap on the cord has fraying but I don't see any bare wire exposed. The wire inside the cloth wrap seems to be cloth wrapped and not torn or frayed. Vintage CEILING HANGING LAMP Ornate Brass Porcelain Iron 4 Light elect antique
Here is a nice vintage hanging light. Nice art deco. It holds 4 bulbs. The center bulb is a large size porcelain socket. The three arms take standard size bulbs. The body is made of iron. The arms are made of nice decorative brass. About 10 inches tall and 7 inches wide. I do not know exactly how old it is but it is an old one. It has aging and wear with some stray paint on the brass. Paint is peeling on the iron body, it is still very nice. It has socket recepticles but will need to be rewired if you intend to use it. Sold as-is, not tested for working condition, wiring is old. See photos for condition. I do not see any serious dents. Repairs, nor damage other than the old wiring. It is vintage and in as found condition and will look even better if properly cleaned. The ruffled rim ... moreis not cut as deep as the rest. One shade does have a small crack in it. These shades are not old and are common and were put on here to finish the look. Two Antique Moe Bridges Brass Floral Chandelier Hanging Ceiling Fixtures
This is a fantastic pair of Victorian Moe Bridges hanging ceiling fixtures. One fixture has five sockets surrounded by brass flowers with blue and red coloring on them. The other fixture has three sockets surrounded by the same flowers. Both have long curved and ribbed stems connecting the flowers to the main part of the frame which is made up of two round cast iron tiers designed and colored all the way around in red and blue. From the lower tier hangs six amber colored pendants from the larger chandelier and four of the same pendants from the smaller chandelier. Both fixtures hang from chains and have brass ceiling canopies with designs stamped into them and red and blue coloring. One has a bracket for ceiling mounting. But the other does not. It would screw into a standard bracket. Both fixtures have some dullness and spottiness on the ... morebrass in spots, but overall the larger one is in very good condition and the smaller one is good but has a little more spottiness. Photos 1-8 are of the larger fixture and the last four are of the smaller one. Both need to be rewired. Both have Moe Bridges Milwaukee, Wis. stamped on them. The larger fixture measures about 20" W and hangs down 30" from the ceiling. And the smaller one is about 18" W and hangs down 30" from the ceiling. They will be packed well with care and insured.

Antique Ceiling Hanging Light Fixture Chandelier 5-Bulb Electric Brass Metal
For your restoration pleasure. Here is a lovely antique ceiling fixture. Mixed metal construction, the socket covers, bottom body, and ceiling rose are brass, the arms are probably pot metal, and the upper body part is steel. It measures about 18" across at the sockets, hangs down approximately 16" from the ceiling to the end of the finial. All five sockets include the shade screws and the individual switches are intact and seem to work properly. The lamp will of course need to be rewired. And it has developed a fair amount of oxidation, tarnish, and finish loss. Other than that, the fixture is in remarkably solid condition, should restore to a show piece or could be enjoyed as found if you appreciate a shabby, original look. Vtg. Antique Brass Hanging Electric Ceiling Light! Lamp! Victorian! Chandelier
I have two of these listed so if you need a matching set please view it's mate. I listed separate because most of the time people only need one. This wonderful antique light measures 23 inches wide/round and 18 inches tall. The chain and the part that attaches to the ceiling are an additional 20 inches. But of course, the chain can be shortened to adjust to the height of your ceiling. I personally would replace the chain and rewire the lamp due to age. For its age, it's in excellent shape, and I can find very little wear. There is a bit of scuffing and the metal has tarnished a little bit in spots. That would be mainly on the chain and such though, as the body of the lamp is just great. The bulbs need replace and you can chose the bulb of your choice. This is a nice antique brass gold metal hanging flush mount ceiling light fixture. Magnet does not stick to the ceiling mount but sticks to the chain. Circumference of ceiling mount is approximately 4 1/2 inches. Length of ceiling mount is approximately 4 1/2 inches. The ceiling mount has some paint on it showing it's age. It appears to be all solid brass except the canopy may be plated white metal(it is quite heavy) It has two arms with sockets and the shade holders have holes with beads hanging from them. Both electrical sockets are marked" HUBBELL" and they both have acorn pulls chains. It measures approximately 12" long from the ceiling, down to the bottom of the beads x 12" across x 9 1/2" across the ceiling canopy x 5 1/8" wide(at the ceiling canopy) This fixture is in very good condition but the hanging beads were changed at one time, to plastic. There is only minor wear to the brass and there are tiny set screws along the edge of the canopy, but two are missing(one ... moreon each end) I see no dents or breaks to the brass. It has been re-wired, at some time in the past) and works fine. Both pull chains can turn it on or off. It throws a much prettier light then the photos show and has a terrific 1920's feel. Up for bid is this. Fresh from an old barn, early 1900's ANTIQUE solid very heavy brass hanging hall or foyer lamp. Couldn't find any markings. Fits a 5 1/2 shade and is 17 inches tall. Needs refurbished! Has the original asbestos coated wire. Screws for shade are rusted and not loose enough to turn with fingers so I didn't want to forced them. Buyer can. This might even have hung on a front porch or entry way of a fine home or even a hotel and would have not been a cheap lamp as it is heavy and made very well. ANTIQUE BRASS HANGING CEILING LAMP CHANDELIER 5 LIGHT & GLASS GLOBES
This auction is for an antique brass and glass hanging ceiling light. Has a place for five globes around the light itself. This came from a very well to do house in a very upscale neighborhood in upstae NY. It will need to be rewired but it will be gorgeous when this beauty lights up. It is made of brass and glass. Measures 30" from top to bottom. 17" wide. This does come with the globes but I can not be certain that they are original. I am no expert. One globe is different and there also is an extra globe included small nics on the bottom from going in and out of the light. They measure 5" high x 4" across the top. You may want to get your own or just use these. The center part that is glass is very rare. and the bottom part that is glass as well makes this light stand out. No chips or cracks to that. Vintage Hurricane Hanging Lamp Chandelier Ceiling Brass Antique 2 Lights
Very well made solid hanging light fixture made of a pretty brass. One light bulb facing upward and one that will face down. This does not include its milk glass shade unfortunately. Easy to find and replace with the shade of your choice. Fits into a nautical. Traditional or Victorian theme and will last forever. I have not tested this light. I am confident that it works. But if for some reason it doesn't, this would require very little to get it working. A very short wire is still attached for wiring it into the ceiling. A turn handle. Key look, on the side is in great working order. Turns the light on and off. Age does play a small part in some areas but honestly this is a very nice piece that should be hung and admired. Vintage Brass Victorian Gas Style Hanging Ceiling Chandelier Double Shade
For your consideration is a brass ceiling fixture probably from the later 20th century which looks reminiscent of a Victorian gas lamp. It is ready to hang from most standard electrical ceiling boxes. Complete with straps. It is just as it was taken down. The lamp holders are porcelain, the rest of the lamp appears to be brass(it is non-magnetic) The canopy is separated where it looks to have been soldered at one time, but functions. The outside measurements are approx. 18" wide x 24" long, from the end of the pipe to the bottoms of the sockets. The brass is discolored, there are signs of solder at some joints, and the canopy is in two rather than one piece. There are only three set screws to hold the shades in the fixture, instead of six(three are missing) The two arms are similar, but the bends are slightly different. You can ... moresee that if you look closely. It takes shades with a 2 1/4" fitter. If after all that, this little chandelier is still of interest to you, you will possibly be pleased to find that the shipping is free anywhere in the lower 48. Listed is a vintage 4 light glass and brass chandelier. The hang length of this chandelier is 33" consisting of 14" for the 5" diameter ceiling canape and chain. And 19" for the light. The chandelier has four lights and is 17" across with 6 colored glass sections that measure 10" tall and 10" across at the bottom. I had no way to check if this light worked. Is in great condition, just a little dusty. This is a very heavy chandelier and I will be taken the glass out for shipment(which you take out by unscrewing the brass screws and brass bar at the bottom of the panel) If not your colors you can have glass made and replace these. This originally would have had chains that held the bowl ... moresuspended with light bulbs inside. It is the two pieces you see only. The bowl shade is 14" wide and 5" deep. It is in used condition. No major damage but does have some nicking and chippin along the top rim edge, it is marked"3814 Pat Applied For" The brass mount frame is 16" wide and 5" deep. It has four rings and a center hole. antique solid brass hanging ceiling light oriental scene handpainted glass shade
A solid brass hanging ceiling hallway light fixture. The fixture has 2 half circle pieces of glass on the inside with handpainted oriental/asian scenes. Around the scenes there is a beautiful ornate design in the brass. The light is about 17 inches tall(could add chain to make it hang lower) And has about a 6 inch diameter. Great condition, would need to be rewired.
