Antique Ornate Eastlake Dresser Solid Walnut Wood Marble Top & Mirror FREE SHIP
Antique Eastlake Dresser This is an Eastlake style antique dresser. We believe it is composed of walnut with a medium-tone finish. It has been finished with a lovely marble surface and a large mirror top. The mirror has a beautiful and ornate carved design. Three large drawers sit below the marble surface. The drawers have dovetailed construction. All of the drawers are 33" wide and 14" deep. The top drawers is 6 1/8" tall. The middle is 7" tall and the bottom is 8 1/2" tall. The entire set-up measures 86" in height. It is 41 3/4" at the widest point. And 17 3/4" deep. It weighs approximately 177 pounds. The exposed marble surface measures 40 7/8" by 13 3/4" This is in great. Antique condition overall with some general signs of age and use. There are no visible cracks or repairs. There are ... morea few chips along the dresser edge. It appears as though there was originally a crown as well as a pair of candle holder arms. These pieces are no longer included. The mirror may be a replacement, since it is not beveled, but it is still a lovely match. There is a slight separation in the joint at the top of the mirror arch. I see a few very faint paint splatters on the dresser. There are minor imperfections, such as scratches or spots of wear, which I believe should be expected on a piece of this age. ca. 1850 ANTIQUE BUREAU DRESSER CHEST
For your consideration we have a ca. 1850 American bureau. I purchased this about 12 years ago from an antique dealer who bought it from an elderly descendant of the original builder. May be made of chestnut. But I am not certain of this. Good condition overall, shows honest wear and patina, I believe the finish is original and untouched. Several scuffs and other marks, please refer to the images. Handles are original, small wheels were added to the bottom and are not original. All drawers open smoothly but one needs a little lift to close, I've chosen not to correct this to maintain its original charm. Includes a message, written in pencil, inside the top left drawer which reads"This bureau was made by Mary McClure Stafford's father a cabinet maker + he died when she was about 8 years old(about 1852) on the Mary Campbell farm ... moresouth of the river bridge" Measures 49"h x 22"d x 47"w. 1870's VICTORIAN EASTLAKE BURURLED WALNUT ANTIQUE MIRROR ?? DIAMOND DUST?? M33
There was a worn piece of wrapping paper around this little mirror. And just one piece of it was saved. The last photo shows that paper! It has"1 Augest Thonsen 1878" That's what it looks like to me, but maybe I'm not seeing it correctly! The overall size of this old mirror is 8" x 14 1/2" tall. The actual mirror size is 5 1/2" x 9 3/4" tall. An expert said it is diamond dust, but I can't guarantee that. The best way to tell if it really is diamond dust is when it's damaged. This one is in encased in wood with screws and has been in a dry climate(Denver) for over 136 years, so there's no damage! The"burled" walnut is a veneer, and that's easy to see when you look at the back of it! The earlier timbers we refer to are specifically, the carcass, including the top and drawer fronts. The dresser boasts great craftsmanship including a very good quality one-piece moulded top. The front of the dresser features classing geometric mouldings to he drawer fronts along with inset side panels. The two large working drawers, which are hand dovetailed and pine lined, feature the Victorian brass drawer knobs. The dresser stands on the barley twist shaped legs with connecting stretchers to the back legs for added strength. The backboards, inset side panels and drawer linings are constructed of solid pine. This item features a mid-brown oak colour. It has a fantastic colour and patination; this can only be achieved through age and years of care and cleaning it has received. Measuring 38.5 across the bottom and 36" high. I believe the wood to be maple- it measures about 28.5 inches across the area where it pivots(back photo illustrates the pivot hardware) Beveling is about an inch wide and the mirror has speckling of the silver consistent with its age. Antique Bonnet-ed Mahogany Highboy 1790- 1840. Found in an estate in Munson Township. Geauga County, Ohio. We have gone over this piece extensively, and so have many other professionals in the appraisal business, and we are confident it is an original built sometime between 1790- 1840 most likely in Connecticut. It is a very ornate, all hand carved, which is uncommon for these of highboys. Only other one we have found online that even comes close to looking like this one is in an antique shop in New York City. The piece is in very very good condition for its age. Does have wood cracks and chips here and there from being moved over the last 175 years or so. On a scale of 1-10 on condition this piece is a high 8. Any questions please ask before bidding. Circa 1860. Recently, a third generation furniture maker in England hand restored the chest back to its original luster. The result is a stunning dresser in superb condition. This is a wonderful example of Georgian artistry and craftsmanship from the bow front shape to the splayed bracket feet. The drawers are a two over three graduated drawer ... moredesign. This means the drawers get slightly deeper as they go down. The all-brass plate back handles wonderfully accent these beautiful drawers. Both the top and drawer fronts are rich flame mahogany. The deep luster of the mahogany is extremely eye catching. This chest is in good condition having just been restored in England. There are locks. One slightly recessed, are present but no key. Above the locks on the first and third long drawers are repairs. There are a few cosmetic imperfections which can be viewed in the pictures. On the top of the dresser the back-right corner has been repaired. The front left foot has two minor split and moderate wear on all four feet. The top has light surface scratches and two minor age separations. There are a few wear marks throughout that the restorer has cleaned up and waxed over particularly on the sides. They now provide handsome character to the chest without being distracting. The result is a phenomenal antique dresser that will last your family for many years to come! Antique burled birdseye walnut dresser. It has a white demilune beveled marble top and large center mirror. On either side of the mirror there are two curved cabinets with a shelf in each. Picture 10 shows a small piece of veneer at the top left that has come unglued and a couple of marks. There are three large graduated drawers. On the bottom of each side of the drawers there are two curved cabinets with a shelf in each. The four cabinet curved doors are finished on the inside. All the drawers and cabinets have locks. very fine antique hanging quartersawn oak shaving stand or wall mount
for auction is a very nice hanging shaving stand. it is a wall mount model which are fairly hard to come by. this piece is of quartersawn oak and has nice carving on the bottom splash under the serpentine drawer. Which is an unusual feature. it was painted and had to be stripped and refinished, which i did a long time ago. i have no place for it anymore. i hung it on a nail i had a limoges charger on just to get some pictures. it of course was hung way too high for practical purposes, if you were 8 feet tall it might have been at the perfect height. it is in mint condition as far as structure and function and is all original. it is about 29 inches long, 13.5 inches wide, and 7,5 inches deep at the most curved part of the serpentine drawer. it is a wonderful and i would say a rare model in great condition. it may be picked up at my home of ... moreshipped at buyer's expense. i would say it can go usps for about 50.00. thanks for looking and good luck. i am starting it for less than i paid years ago. ps. by the way i note the pictures are much darker than the piece actually is. the fourth and the last pictures are a more true representation of it's color.

Antique ornate oak dresser/cabinet/vanity with swivel mirror& an extra mirror holder. This would be for parts or restore. Has ornate wood features& unique copper surround skeleton key hardware& locking inside door latch with copper dots with petina on the lower door jamb. Made by Ottawa Furniture Company. Holland, MI between 1907 and 1925, has been in the family for decades. Was going to be restored by grandpa, but passed. Missing sections on only the bottom of one side/rear& leg. So pretty much just need part of the bottom fixed to be stable, however, there were some loose parts in the drawers, but unknown if all here, it is not stand up stable due to lower leg section missing, but is stable if propped up, come look. A very fine antique. Circa 1860's, solid walnut dresser with gray veined white marble top. Above is the separate mirror in frame, and yoke having a pair of candle stands and glove boxes. The mirror crest is beautifully carved with roses, the dresser drawers with nice carved grips. Dresser retains the three locks with walnut escutcheons, no key. Secondary wood is maple. Mirror frame will swivel. It has been nicely refinished. Total furniture measures 7'2" 86" tall by 3'5" 41" wide by 18-1/2" deep. Excellent condition: walnut without chips or cracks, beveled marble without chips or cracks, very minor stain drip specks. The mirror glass is undamaged, no backing spots or cloudiness, 2-1/2" scratch.
