I can even describe how wonderful the original condition this piece is. It looks almost new. The original clear coat is in excellent shape. All 4 original dome of silence glides and screws intact. All 4 rubber shock mounts are in fresh. The zentith label is bright and clear. There is grease pencil next to label that says DAX Greige and cant make out the third word. Vtg 70's Teak Oak Orange Etagere Bookcase Mid-Century Modern Eames Herman Miller
This is a sensational circa 1970's etagere shelf rack unit. It is made of light teak or perhaps oak solid wood cross-members that clamp with set screws onto orange coated steel tubes which are very sturdy and support glass shelves. Very minimalist design. I do not know the exact age but I do know they are older and it has an Allied moving sticker with a patent date of 1965 and 1970 so I am leaving the sticker attached for reference and date approximation. It measures 85" tall 25.5" wide and 17 5/8" deep. It is in excellent overall condition with minimal wear. The glass shelves are removable and can adjust by moving the wooden bars up and down along the tubes. The glass is also in excellent condition but there is a large scratch across one that fortunately is not very noticeable. These come completely apart and will be shipped ... morein two boxes. Vintage Eames Era molded wood and vinyl chair. This chair belonged to my mother and I think it was bought in the 60s. It is in really good condition with some wear for age. The stain has worn off the edge of the corners of the legs near the bottom. But this would be easy to touch up. The vinyl is in good condition, but does have one small dark spot in the seat, and one small white speck. On the molded wood that supports the back rest, there are a few black spots. They look a little like paint that could be rubbed off. The vinyl is an avocado green. It is a very comfortable chair. My mother always thought this was a Herman Miller chair. But it is not marked. Herman Miller Eames Tandem Seating This is a fantastic. Vintage Herman Miller bench featuring the universally known shell chairs designed by Charles and Ray Eames. This is a tandem system with four seats. It consists of one rail, two supporting legs/feet, and the four shell chairs. The chairs are composed of cream-colored fiberglass shells, which are covered with vinyl upholstery. The seats alternate in color, two being tan and two a darker brown. They can be re-arranged on the rail, but we found this set up highly attractive. The shell edges have black vinyl edging. The chairs are very comfortable. They have a strong Mid-Century Modern vibe. The set has the following dimensions: Height: 31 7/8" to the back of the chair Width: 104 5/8" from one exterior arm to the one on the other end Depth: 23" Additional measurements: Length ... moreof metal seating rail: 83 3/8" Spread of rail feet: 23 1/2" Width of each individual shell: 25" Height from floor to seat: 19" These are in great. Vintage condition overall with some general signs of age or use. We do not see any chips or cracks in the fiberglass shells. The tandem seat mount, legs and feet show some general wear in the form of scratches and dings. The vinyl seat covers show the most wear, as is typical for these chairs. Two of the seats have pulled at the seams- one of the sections is approximately 2" long and the other is 4" long. Along the seams, the vinyl has some small spots where it has pulled slightly loose from the backing. This is really only noticeable if you are looking for it. One chair has two small puncture marks, and another has a scrape on the front, bottom edge. We also noticed that on the back of one of the chairs the black edging tends to pop out of place at times. Up for your consideration is a rare circular white top dining table by Charles Eames for Herman miller circa 1955. This table features the out of production five star 670 base in unusual white with matching white stem and four adjustable chrome glides. Glossy vintage white laminate top with rubber edge. This is the same base used on the classic Eames 670 lounge chairs and is an exceptionally hard to find variation. Condition is very good. Some age appropriate wear to the white enamel paint, some small nicks on the stem, no significant damage.
