This is a lovely vintage mid century modern rug. It has a geometric pattern in black and red. The other color is a very nice tan. The rug is very plush and soft. I believe it is made of wool. I was told this is a Rya rug. The size is 60 X 40 inches. Excellent gently used condition. It has been in storage for many years. Wonderful addition to any modernist decor.

Vtg Midcentury Modern Danish Ege Shag Rya Rug Wool Denmark 57"x 80" Reds Yello
This rya rug is in excellent used condition- purchased in 1971 at the Torrejon Air Base in Spain- used sparingly until 1987- in storage since then. This rug can also be used as wall art- made in Denmark. It measures about 57" by about 80" The colors are very vibrant reds. Oranges, yellows and burgundy. Huge 1960s Vintage Danish Modern Rug shag rya carpet abstract mid century
Large wool rug from the early 1960's. Great original condition. I don't think this rug was ever used. Always in storage and recently professionally cleaned. Signature Collection by Cabin Crafts and signed/initialed by artist in corner. I cant make out the initials, see last pic. Colors are fawn, beige, sand, charcoal, yellow, cantaloupe and many shades of grey. Its hard to photograph due to size, looks much better in person. There are no stains, holes, worn areas or damage. 14.5' x 17.5' Shipping would need to be by freight. Local pick-up is fine.

Nice smaller mid century modern shag rya rug measuring 51" X 34" Great abstract pattern that is fun to look at. This piece may make for a good bathroom rug. Or maybe a rug for your bedroom next to a bed since the wool pile is pretty tall, and it would feel good on your feet. This piece looks as though it may have been handmade latch and hook style. But I am not positive of that. There are no weird smells or large tears. Unika Vaev Spotlight rya shag carpet - Verner Panton
This is a rare Spotlight rya or shag carpet made by Unika Vaev in Denmark. Most likely in the late 60´s or early 70´s. Some say this carpet was designed by Verner Panton. I say it was not, but i guess no one can say for sure. It is still a very nice and great looking carpet though! Size is aprox 90x120cm. Condition is good but there are wear to one side of the carpet.
