Partial tag on lamp base and mushroom shade has Hand Blown in Italy tag on the underside. The base is brushed nickel. Lamp works fine. It stands 16-1/2" tall. Shade is 12-1/2" across the widest point. The shade does have a chip on the inside of the rim about 1/2" across. It was very hard to capture in photo. Base has just a few light scratches towards the bottom by the cord. Overall. Great lamp! All items offered are vintage and small imperfections are normal due to age. The Laurel lamp for people with pets and children. The shade on this piece is heavy break resistant plastic. So if it gets knocked off the pedestal everything should be all right. I've seen this shade a few times before and because of the specialized fitter I'm sure it's original to the lamp. It's just not very common. The shade still has a frosted glass look to it. VERY GOOD! No issues of note other than a few minor scratches in the white enamel finish. The base retains the original Laurel tag. VINTAGE MID CENTURY LAUREL MUSHROOM ACORN LAMP GLASS SHADE WOOD BASE
For your consideration is a great vintage mid century table lamp from the Laurel Lamp Company. This lamp has a acorn shaped. Frosted glass shade that sits atop a base of wood wrapped metal. The wood is dark with a beautiful grain- probably walnut, but we can't say for certain(see picture 3 for photo with flash) The shade is free of cracks, chips or discoloration, with the exception of a few tiny dings around the inside rim of the opening(see picture 4 and picture 5 for closeup) which is usual for lamps of this type and vintage. These are NOT seen when shade sits on base and do not affect performance of lamp. The base is free of damage or marks and the wood veneer meets cleanly at the back of lamp. Laurel Lamp base mushroom, mustard, Mid Cent Mod/Eames /Atomic, orig. sales tag
This lamp is in good operating order. It has been used very little. As it was purchased from a thrift store a couple years ago and still had the original sales tag attached, which hasn't been removed. It also came with the glass shade, but alas it broke in an earthquake and this little beauty has been boxed ever since. It's time for someone to put it to use. According to the tag it's Laurel lamp# VB08 and it's protected with a coating of high-baked lacquer. There are some few very minor flaws in the finish. As you can see in the photos. The lamp is a three-way but will take regular light bulbs too. The(original) cord is in great shape too. With little evidence of use.

VINTAGE MID CENTURY BLACK LAUREL MUSHROOM LAMP GLASS GLOBE
For your consideration is a vintage. Mid-century mushroom lamp by the Laurel Co. This is the taller, more gently curved style with a base in black metal. It has the iconic opaque, blown glass shade that sits over the bulb. The original shade is approx. 13 inches in diameter at its widest. And the glass opening is approx. 3.5 inches in diameter. The glass shade is in very good vintage condition. No cracks or discolorations. It does have miniscule flea bites around the edge of the opening(picture 12) which is very common in these vintage shades. But this can not be seen with globe in place on lamp and does not affect stability or use. The metal base has very minor color loss in two places in particular: around the top rim(see picture 5) and on the middle back(picture 8. Close up) These are not overly evident when lamp is in normal position(especially ... morethe area at the rim, which is close to globe bottom) We did not find these distracting when lamp was in use, but they could be touched up if so desired. Otherwise the base has just minor wear. More pictures can be made available upon request. The lamp has a white socket and socket base. Without damage. It retains the original Laurel Lamp Mfg. Co. blue label(picture 3) On both the white portion of the socket(picture 4) as well as around the black inner rim of the base top(picture 5) there is a number inscribed. We do not know if this is model or inventory number, but in any case, these can not be seen when globe is on lamp. The brown cord and socket appear to be original. And the cord is a good length, at least 60 inches. There is brown felt on the bottom of base for surface protection(picture 7) The height of the lamp overall is approx. 16.5 inches. The height of the metal base alone is approx. 11 inches. The approximate diameter of the metal base bottom is just over 5 inches. This is a versatile lamp that can be used in virtually all living spaces. Would look especially good in a den or TV room. Or on a bedside table. The light is in working condition(s
