The naugahyde upholstery is in great original condition. It has a light scratch(pictured) some areas on the seat where the upholstery has wrinkled. I am selling my 50th anniversary Swan chair from Fritz Hansen by Arne Jacobsen. The anniversary edition was released in 2008 to commemorate this iconic piece of mid-century Danish furniture. I am the first owner and only received the chair in September 2012. The chair was purchased in Australia and has since moved with me to San Diego. California, USA. It has just arrived here in San Diego and I do not have a good place for it in my new home and am therefore looking to sell it. It was in my home in Australia for only 6 months during which time it was used very sparingly and with great care, which is why it is in absolutely perfect condition. The chair retailed for $17.689 in Australia and I believe was one of the very last ones available for sale to its first owner. There was only 1958 total 50th anniversary Swan chairs produced(to honor ... morethe year of its original release) and each is numbered(shown on the silver bracelet circling its base. 3 Mid Century Danish Modern Arne Jacobsen Fritz Hansen 1967 3 Legged Ant Chairs
This is a very fun set of 3 original Danish Arne Jacobsen Ant Chairs made in 1967 by Fritz Hansen. These chairs are identical other than color and only the white one has the marked bottom plastic cover. The chairs may have been repainted but the peacock blue color seems to have been available. I just acquired them and do not know their history. The legs have been rubbed out and are pretty clean there is minor very shallow surface rust on the legs under the seats. This chair was produced in many colors and was even featured on a postage stamp in Denmark. Local pick up ore delivery in San Jose is ok. I intend to ship these assembled via Greyhound which will not deliver to your door but to the nearest depot based on your mailing zip code where you need pick them up from there.

Arne Jacobsen Up for auction. Fresh from a local estate is a great old Arne Jacobsen designed dot stool for Fritz Hansen. The stool has metal legs and a laminated teak wood top. I'm selling it as found. Please see pictures, there is wear to the laminate, a small section missing from one edge. The metal legs have gray plastic tips, there is minor scratches to the metal legs. The middle of the metal bottom is marked made in Denmark. It has no Fritz Hansen label but I am confident it's an early Arne Jacobsen design. It measures 17 1/2" tall by roughly 13" in diameter. It is solid and sturdy. Ready for some TLC! I have two more stools up for auction from the same estate. This will make a fine addition to any collection! They show a warm patina with beautiful wear from age- some chips to the wood as pictured. Does not detract from the beauty of these simple stools. 4 vintage early Made in Denmark Arne Jacobsen-Fritz Hansen ant-saucer teak stools as shown. These 3 legged stools are just under 18 inches tall and measure 12& 1/4 inches across. Teak plywood tops with gun metal grey legs with plastic protector tips as shown. These are the early exposed on top screws version. 2 chairs have slotted screws and 2 have Phillips. 2 have small chips- 1 chair has 4. The other has 1. Arne Jacobsen Grand Prix Chairs set of 4, stacking- produced by Fritz Hansen
The Grand Prix design by Arne Jacobsen was introduced by Fritz Hansen at the. Designers’ Spring Exhibition at the Danish Museum of Art& Design in Copenhagen. In 1957. Later that year. The chair was displayed at the Triennale in Milan where it received the Grand Prix. All chairs are in very good original unrestored condition with minimal wear for their age. I have documented in the pictures the few marks beneath chairs which I believe to be a natural occurrence in the wood. The patina is gorgeous. Please email me with any questions you may have.
