There is a teak cone placed on top of the lampshade. The bulb casing is threaded through the lampshade and held in place with a large plastic screw. There is a white plastic ceiling cone. The ceiling lamp is in very good condition and in full working order. There are a few age related faint marks on the opaque white glass. There are a few small chips on the bottom rim of the lampshade. But these do not interfere with the overall look of the piece. The ceiling lamp takes one Edison(screw fit) bulb. There are some minor signs of age with some small scratches(mainly on the tower part) and a minimum of paint loss. They are made of spun thin aluminium and if you eyeball the rim you may find it a bit wobbly and find a thin local indentation. Midcentury modern Danish Hanging lamp Fantastic mid century hanging lamp form the 60’s/70’s. The lamp has three shades made of copper and aluminum. The shades come together in a copper ceiling cap. In the middle it has a wooden‘cross’ that equals the distance between the shades and organizes them in a triangle shape. The shades are partly lacquered orange inside to give a nice warm glow when lit. The light shining straight down is clear and white. The lamp is in good condition. The shades have no dents or mishapings but do have some marks of use. The aluminum is scratched and the copper of the shades and the ceiling cap has some dark stains(which I didn’t polish but I guess most of them will get of) See pictures for a impression. The cables and fixtures are checked and in good condition. The lamp uses normal Edison screw bulbs(E-24 type) ... moreOne in each shade. Normal 0 21 false false false NL JA X-NONE 60’s 70’s Herda wall arc lamp Nice wall arc lamp from Herda form the 60’s 70’s with the characteristic M&M shaped shade. Marked on the back of the wall plate. The lamp is entirely made of metal. The base is chromed and the shade is lacquered yellow. The inside of the shade is lacquered white to give a nice clear shine when lit. The shade is 17cm/ 6.7” in diameter and can be moved in any direction. The base has a 46cm/ 18.1” reach. It uses a normal Edison screw bulb of the E27 type. The lamp is in good condition with almost no marks of use. There are some smaller marks on the base. I ship worldwide. Mid-Century Danish Modern Pendant Shade/ Light Fitting Designed possibly by Jo Hammerb o rg Fantastic modernist 1960s/ 1970s pendant c onstructed in the main from spun aluminium. The conical shades and bulb housing are copper in colour with a central pierced metal. Black finish diffuser held in place by 3 brass pegs. The central black diffuser has small square holes at both the top and bottom of the shade- these in turn flick out little rays of light to cast wonderful patterns. The interior of each copper cone is finished in white. The three lights are suspended from lovely teak wood dowels that form a triangle( this can be adjusted) This has been newly rewired and as such has been left with reasonably long lengths of cable so you are able to adjust each light to your required length, whether they be hung a t the same height or at differing ... morelevels. Each shade is made of an aluminum tube with four connected aluminum layered rings. The rings are lacquered bright orange on the inside. Which creates a warm, orange glow when lit. The height of the shades/length of the cables is adjustable. The suspension ceiling lamp is in very good condition. Has all the original parts and bolts and is in full working order. ANOTHER ONE OF MY VINTAGE ITEMS! DESCRIPTION: Up for sale is a very nice, Mid Century Danish modern, gold metal ceiling pendant light/lamp, most probably designed in the 1960s 0r 1970s. Unfortunately I'm not sure, which company manufactured it. But it has the looks of a Carl Thore lamp, that was called'Le Monde' Make sure you check out my other vintage items! The fixture his constructed of metal, and it has a glass globe on the inside that covers the bulb. There is about 30 inches of electric wire, the white chain is about 12 inches long. And there is a white plate to fix it to the ceiling. The fixture's measurements are: 12 inches wide/diameter, and it is about 11 inches high. The teak piece alone is abut 5 inches high. Great condition, 3 shades in polished aluminum rings with on top/ bottom a black ring and the inside is orange for amazing reflection/effect, each shade has a screw in type bakelite fitting and 75W max, length powercords is adjustable inside ceiling hub. This light hardwires directly to your ceiling, 110/220 V Sizes Diameter Ceiling Hub = 11" Length shades = 8" This fixture comes with minimal traces of age and use related wear. Please see pictures. Danish 3 light Chandelier Hammerborg Mid Century Fog Morup Wegner Lyfa 60s 70s
You are bidding on an original 1970s Danish ceiling lamp. It is made of a central brushed aluminium large circular ceiling cone. Bearing brushed aluminium lampshades placed at different height. Each lampshade is made of four concentric discs lacquered orange on the inside and fixed to each other by three metallic rods. the disks have been spaced out to increase the light effect. There is an additional larger disk held with three aluminium prongs and acting as a light diffuser. The ceiling lamp is in very good condition and in full working order. The lamp takes on ES E27(normal Edison screw fit) bulb. As with all vintage electrical equipment. It is advisable to have it checked by a qualified electrician.
