Mid Centry Ceramic Tripod Planter Bullet Fiberglass
Everything about this planter is cool. The color. The size, the shape- there is nothing that isn't Mid Century at its finest! In crazy amazing vintage condition. The turquoise ceramic planter insert shows minor rubbing where it sits in the metal tripod base, as well as a few tiny flecks to the glaze. They do not show as they are covered by the base. One small glaze skip flea bite at the rim. No chips, cracks, crazing anywhere else on the piece. Measuring 8 1/4" tall x 9 1/4" in diameter at the top rim. The base is in wonderful condition with age appropriate wear to the metal. It retains the 3 original rubber feet. Measures 11 3/4" tall. Measures 15" when all put together and ready to hold a plant. Mid Century Modern Bullet Planter Perhaps late 50's early 60's. Designer and maker are unknown. 6 rings on the stand 4 bullet shaped bowls Beautifully designed form. Very"space age. atomic age, or"jet age. Interesting proportions. You can configure the bowls in different places to create different effects. There are some minor scrapes and abrasions on the stands and bowls. But they do not detract from the overall appearance. The planter. Including the bowls, is 27 1/2 inches tall, 5 3/4 inches wide at the top of each bowl. It has been packed very carefully. With a new heavy duty, extra thick walled box and the necessary packaging materials. In order to pack this so it will safely arrive I had to use an 18" x18" x 28" box. Vintage Bullet Planter Mid Century Modern. 21.5" high, 12" across. Constructed of fiberglass or some composite material. It has one crack in it about 4" long. But given the"drizzle" pattern of the paint, it does not stand out. I have taken two photos with a flash. And two photos without the flash. The true color is somewhere between the colors shown in the photos, which is an off-white. The stand is metal and as usual has signs of tarnish and corrosion. Again, not too noticeable. The interior has remnants of glue that held the artificial plant. Photos describe best.

This is a great looking fiberglass bullet planter with a metal stand. We think this was made by Kimball. It has wear consistent to age and use. Including some flaking, scratching, discoloration and mineral build up but there are no chips or cracks. The discoloration might polish out a bit with the appropriate cleaner if desired. The planter in the stand measures approximately 24" tall, the planter alone is 10 1/2" tall x 12" in diameter at the top, the stand is 22" tall.
