Fantastic. 100% original, vintage walnut coffee table by Adrian Pearsall for Craft Associates. Table features a biomorphic heavy tempered glass top, mated with a rich walnut base. Glass top has only light scratches/ scuffs which are common to glass tables of this vintage. No chips. The walnut base is spectacular with an all original finish, fantastic grain, original floor pads, and original rubber glass pads, which are still pliable. The base measures 15-1/2" high. The glass top measures 50" long by 33" wide. We can no longer use this because of the addition of a second dog( they like to chase each other IN the house! Good vintage condition for an estate find(rescued from a basement garage) One of them is a bit bent at the top end but not really bent-just the leg is coming out of the cross piece. But when it is screwed into a table top that will force the leg back into its slot. I can do it with my hand but it doesn't hold in place it pops back out. Otherwise no issues to note. Bench measures 42.5" long. 16" wide at widest point, and 18" tall. The slab top is 7" thick at thickest point. Absolutely no veneer. This piece is made of heavy solid wood with incredible wood grain. No chips. Cracks, or hidden damage. This is a very clean example, but for the sake of being extremely accurate, please remember that this piece is gently used, and does show some very minimal signs of use. Here is a vintage. Mid Century Modern, wood slat coffee table. It has Danish tapered legs with brass tips and there are 7 slats and 3 cross bars. This is a gorgeous table but it is vintage and has some signs of wear. This can be refinished if desired but the table can be used as is as well. Judge for yourself. I have taken photos from many angles to show you its condition. There is no maker's mark on the table. It was part of a Mid Century Modern living room set. The brass tips need polishing and there are surface scratches to the wood as well as some damage in the corners of the table. Still looks very nice. Damage is mostly visible when you are looking closely for it. Still very functional as is and perfect for everyday use. Or refinish it and get it back to pristine condition. I think it would be great to have 2 large marble square tops cut for this table. or you could use the dining table top that comes with the dining table. The size of this is basically the same as the dining table. Only height is shorter. Maybe it was a version made to be used without the stools?
