QUALITY! 1950's GROSFELD HOUSE DANISH MODERN MID CENTURY Dining Set You are purchasing a stunning sculptural dining set by the wonderful high end furniture Co"Grosfeld House. This piece features solid brass pieces on the legs and chairs. Amazing tripod base style, a super cool piece we found out of a great estate! Truely a unique piece you may never find another one like it. The wood grain just glows and has amazing lines. The color and wood grain is mahogany and resembles Rosewood. The white leather chairs are very sturdy and no problems with the sturdyness, no damage or repairs to the wood that I am aware of. One of the arm chairs has the most amount of wear. One of the arms has most of the finish rubbed off(pictured) also the seat will need redone. Some of the chairs have some yellowing to them or build up in the seams due to ... moreage. There is some scrapes, dings and scratches on some of the legs(mainly the 1 arm chair has the most) I do not want to mis lead you so please know that this set is not in excellent condition and will need some attention if you desire perfection. The round table top in a large area looks like the top clear coat has a little flaking and doesnt feel smooth as the rest of the table. It has some wear you will see in the light such as a couple large rings like something was sitting on it. There is a couple small scratches from normal use. I'm sorry, it is hard for me to describe wear if I dont know what it was caused from. It will need a refinishing on the round table top only if you want it to look great. Send message for extra pics. I have more pics but it is hard to tell unless you are looking at it in the light. This set is still very very sturdy and strong and would not miss getting because of the wear you see. These are in excellent condition with the exception of a few spots of minor damage on the caned backrests. See photos of the close ups of the backrests for details. Two of the chairs have little areas of unravel along the top bar of the backrest. One has been glued by a previous owner. You could redo the small areas for perfection. But they are useable as is and the damage isn't progressing. The backrests also have a few tiny breaks within the weaving. These are hard to spot and in no way affect the strength of the backrest. These chairs are very well made and super sturdy. They swivel with ease and are very comfortable with thick cushioned seats and curved backrests at just the right height. Perhaps one of the more rare Adrian Pearsall for Craft Associates table. It is truly unique and quite hard to find. This table is constructed of sculpted solid walnut joined together at the base. No screws. Has the original finish that has not been touched with anything. This table is in pristine condition. Usually there is much more wear on a table dating from the 1960's but there is only one small nick in the base clearly pictured. That is the only defect I can see. Everything else. This beautiful retro coffee table is from the 60"s attributed to Vladimir Kagan. 15" High. Glass 40" across and 1/2" thick. Base 29" across. The round thick green tempered glass sits on a walnut curved slat base with a chrome three pronged support. It is heavy and very sturdy. This stunning table is in great age appropriate condition. It does have some scratches in the glass and a very small chip on the edge. It is not a deep chip. When standing over the top of the table you would not be able to see it. Please see image 7. It is in really great condition, but not perfect. The brass could use a little polishing if you are picky, little nicks here and there.but it definitely can be used as is, very clean overall. Designed by ADRIAN PEARSALL for CRAFT ASSOCIATES. Exceptionally well-made, extremely sturdy, and of the highest quality. Table is being sold just as-found. With the original finish, still in showroom condition. Wood base measures 25" x 25" and stands 15" tall. The base weighs 5 pounds. Glass top measures 36" across. 3/8" thick, and weighs 35 pounds. Extremely clean. But for the sake of absolute accuracy, please remember that this table is gently used. I have included photos of all sides. So you can see the incredible condition. Very minimal signs of use. As expected, but nothing to take away from the beauty of this piece. One small nick to the top and bottom of one of the wooden supports, see close-up pics) but no other chips, cracks, breaks, or hidden damage, and NO repairs. Glass has a couple of scratches, that could probably be polished out, if desired, and one tiny 1/16" nick to edge(see close-up pic. Listing: This listing is for a pair of amazing mid century modern ultra sleek and stylish stools. These have great sculpted scissor style legs very much in the manner of Vladamir Kagan. Adrian Pearsall, or even Pierre Jeanneret. They are upholstered in a unique vintage Brazilian fabric from the 1950's by designer Deborah Baldacconi. Condition: Overall excellent condition. There are normal signs of age including scratches and some missing screws as well as a few replaced. The fabric is in very good condition and the foam is very nice with only one spot of mild warping on one stool.
