Unlike so many of chairs in this style that appear on Ebay. These are not a combo of woods or a generic hardwood stained to look like teak. They are each 100% SOLID TEAK throughout(sides, seat, arms and back) with removable upholstered seat and back cushions. Great looking from any viewing angle and they provide excellent comfort. Cushions are the original heavy inner spring design, so no fear of them loosing their shape verses just foam. Upholstery is a wonderful neutral oatmeal color woven wool, so will match in any color scheme decor. Seat backs will remove so each chair can ship in its own box via UPS oversize. measurements Overall each chair measures 31.5" high by 25" wide by 29" deep. The seat cushion is 20" wide by 4" high by 21" deep. The distance from the floor to the top of the seat is about 17" high at the front tapering back to 14.5" at the rear. condition Excellent with just light age and a handful of very minor soil marks on the cushions. Vintage Danish Modern Chair Mid Century Teak Lounge Mod Eames Mad Men
This auction is for one vintage Danish modern lounge chair. The chair is solid. But it does need to have it's leather bottom seat support straps replaced. The five original straps are there, but they are dry and worn with age. Cosmetically, the dark wood stain has wear and scratches(see pictures) We had planned on stripping it and refinishing it, but just never found the time. There are a few places with gouges in the wood. Each of the four legs has a brass accent foot. One of the accents has a split in the brass(see picture) No cushions are included in this auction. The chair measures 26.5" deep. 26.75" wide, and stands 27.5" tall. I will disassemble the chair for safer shipping and to keep the cost at a minimum. Please email me with any questions.

Danish Modern teak highback lounge chair with elegant carved arms. And matching ottoman, by Folke Ohlsson for Dux, Sweden, ca. early 1960s. The chair features 6 reclining positions, AND can double as a rocking chair. The ottoman features two different positions. In upright position, chair is 40.25" high x 30" wide x 36" deep, with 16.75" seat height. Ottoman 24.5" x 17" x 16.75" height. In excellent vintage condition with minor wear to the teak consistent with age. Even includes the original head/neck cushion and the original weights used to hold the slightest adjustment with perfect stability. Upholstery could be dry cleaned but not necessary. Very slight"normal usage" wear. But this piece looks like it was kept as a showpiece in a rarely used room of a home. Bottom retains parts of the original BRAMIN/ DANISH FURNITURE CONTROL label. Chair is exceptionally well-made. Extremely sturdy, and of the highest quality. The chair retains its original finish. With a warm patina. The wood is a deep caramel color. The frame is solid teak, with NO VENEER. Measures 34.5" tall. 26.25" wide, and 31" deep. Seat cushion height is 18" This vintage chair is becoming very hard-to-find. Especially very clean examples like this one, in excellent condition. This chair was very gently used. It is in very good original condition with the original vinyl showing only light scuffing and a beautiful teak frame with minor marks and a great patina. It will be disassembled for shipping.
