There is a teak cone placed on top of the lampshade. The bulb casing is threaded through the lampshade and held in place with a large plastic screw. There is a white plastic ceiling cone. The ceiling lamp is in very good condition and in full working order. There are a few age related faint marks on the opaque white glass. There are a few small chips on the bottom rim of the lampshade. But these do not interfere with the overall look of the piece. The ceiling lamp takes one Edison(screw fit) bulb. You are bidding on an original Falcon ceiling lamp. Designed in 1969 by Andreas Hansen for Fog and Mørup, Denmark. This lamp is part of the‘Regnbue Linie’ and was manufactured between 1968 and 1971. The main lampshade is made of aluminium lacquered orange on the outside and white on the inside. There are an additional two small circular inner lampshades lacquered orange on the outside and white on the inside. The lampshades are fixed to each other by three white metal brackets and spaced out to create a light effect. The bulb casing is encased in a large aluminium cylinder lacquered orange and protruding out of the main lampshade. Very good condition and in full working order. This is real big ceiling lamps that will look great in a big loft or in the place you choose. They are in great vintage condition without chips or cracks. Vtg Retro 60s/70s Danish MCM Carl Thore FOG Morup ERA Ceiling Pendant LIGHT Lamp
ANOTHER ONE OF MY VINTAGE ITEMS! DESCRIPTION: Up for sale is a very nice, Mid Century Danish modern, gold metal ceiling pendant light/lamp, most probably designed in the 1960s 0r 1970s. Unfortunately I'm not sure, which company manufactured it. But it has the looks of a Carl Thore lamp, that was called'Le Monde' Make sure you check out my other vintage items! The fixture his constructed of metal, and it has a glass globe on the inside that covers the bulb. There is about 30 inches of electric wire, the white chain is about 12 inches long. And there is a white plate to fix it to the ceiling. The fixture's measurements are: 12 inches wide/diameter, and it is about 11 inches high. The teak piece alone is abut 5 inches high. The superb Danish modern pendant light, is in very good condition overall. Although there are a few small ... moresurface marks, and a small dent.all shown in the last 3 pictures.
