I am so proud to offer this wicker and iron stool/table designed for Raymor by Arthur Umanoff or Tony Paul. And possibly made by Woodlin-Hall. Made of a heavy iron frame with sturdy wicker top, which appears to have been painted a long time ago with the arguable advantage that it protected the wicker. Excellent condition with original rubber feet. Legs could use a coat of paint. There is one small half-inch long piece missing in the wicker top. Although my photos distort it, the legs are angled out, not parallel. This piece measures approximately 16 inches tall and 12 inches in diameter across the top. 14 inches from leg to leg at bottom. Aurthur Umanoff(for Raymor) original from 1957, the midcentury-modern era.They feature black wrought iron legs and foot rests, with the seat and back made of maple wood slats. One swivels. One is stationary. They measure 16.5" inches wide with a seat height of 29.25" and an overall height of 41.25" In very good vintage condition with some normal light wear. A few scuffs and/or scratches here and there. I believe all parts are original. Including the the slat nails, base screws, and end-caps on the legs(which differ slightly on each chair) One of the back legs on the stationary stool is rough toward the bottom, although feels, looks, and seam to be structurally sound. Pair Mid Century Modern Arthur Umanoff Style Iron Rattan Bentwood Bucket Chairs
Pair of Arthur Umanoff Style Bentwood and Rattan Chairs. Made from solid iron legs and a great weave of rattan to create a very comfortable bucket seat. These were Estate found so I am not sure if they are supposed to be different. One of the chairs has thicker legs and larger brass ball bottoms(on the right in the first picture) The other is thinner and is lighter. Both have the same framework and look great together. I would call it the"his and hers" versions. The one with the larger legs has the Calif-Asia sticker present on the back. That was a company of high-end wicker and rattan in the late 60's- early 70's. Rare Arthur Umanoff sectional For Madison. The set includes 1 section with 2 seats. And one with I seat and a Formica top table. The walnut frame is in very good vintage condition, the bottom inch or so of each leg is discolored. There are some minor dings and scratches to the wood but most if them are on the underside where they are not easily noticed. The table top does have some light scratches, but nothing major. The vinyl seating is worn/ ripped at each corner in the front, otherwise it's in very good condition for the age. The section with 2 seats measures approx 51" long, 32" tall and 26" deep. The shelves are made of butcher block and I believe they and the basket were originally brown and the previous owner painted them black to match the iron. I am pretty sure the metal bowl is not original but it is perfect to hold up the lucite ice bucket which might be original. The ice ... morebucket is in great condition with no chips or cracks and it does still have the tongs. The leather straps on the wine rack are in excellent condition with no rips fraying or stains. The straps easily snap into place and can hold up to 9 bottles. Since the frame is iron this piece is pretty heavy and extremely sturdy with no rocking.
