Kagan style slipper chairs PAIR space age mid century Mccobb era
Pair of swanky slipper chairs in a style popularized by Vladimir Kagan. The maker is unknown and they may very well be Kagan chairs or a copy of his design. They have great form and are quite comfortable. I believe they are reupholstered in a silk fabric which has begun to show its age. The fabric is a beige with blue spots and some blue on the field. The chairs measure approx. 24" wide x 24" deep x 30" high. The legs can be unscrewed and the chairs could be shipped through greyhound(the price quoted) or for more money through FedEx. Here is an awesome set of four vintage 1950's multi colored stacking/nesting tables. Incredibly versatile: put all of them together for a big square coffee table. put them end to end for one looong coffee table. put two together for a coffee table and use the other two for endtables. use them as stools. And on and on. Made to be stacked, all four have bumpers on the underside so they don't damage the table underneath. The legs are solid 1/2" diameter black iron with laminate topped 3/4" plywood tops set into black angle iron frames. All four are in very good original vintage condition with honest wear and patina. The black iron legs and frames do have some surface rust and paint loss. MadeByGideon on Facebook- look me and like me! This piece is in hand and ready to ship This small coffee table is made from a quarter sawn white oak slab and some old barn beams somebody gave me. White oak finishes to kind of a honey/blonde color so I thought of Paul McCobbs blonde tables of the 1950's. Mixed with a slab top with wenge bowties. I cut the slab in half to provide nice width for a table and I filled a section which had a lot of voids with epoxy resin to stabilize and provide some interesting contrast. The legs are splayed at 15 degrees. This table measures approximately 44 1/2" inches long x 20 1/2" inches wide maximum x 14 inches tall. It'll make a great coffee or accent table. Definitely unique. The entire table is finished with five coats of tung oil and buffed by hand. Feels very soft and sleek. Shipping ... morewill be done via the UShip website with insurance. Mid Century Danish Modern Lounge Slipper Chair Kroehler McCobb style Royal Blue
Here is a great example of MCM styling. This chair is in good condition. It is 100% original. Fabric has good color with little to no fading. I know it looks great in some of the photos but it is a bit dirty and should be cleaned. I don't have a crevasse tool for my vacuum so couldn't reach some of the areas I've shown in a couple pics. There are a few pulls in the fabric(2 worst are shown in pic 11) but I've had much worse ones that I've been able to fix myself with some super glue. The 2 back legs are excellent. The 2 front ones show some flaking of the finish and a split in one leg. It does sit evenly and firmly without any wobbling, I'm 250lbs and 6'3" and sit quite comfortable in it. In fact I've been sitting in it out in the front yard while listing this afternoon, the neighbors have been looking ... moreat me kind of funny! The white line you see on the top back seam appears to be a tag remnant. The bottom fabric you see hanging down I've removed and tossed it since it's not repairable. Due to the age of the chair and the high shipping costs I'm going to sell this as-is with no returns. Shipping will most likely be via Fedex Ground.

The chair is not marked and I do not believe it is a Mcobb due to the size of the feet. But I could be wrong. Either way.this thing is GORGEOUS. Check out the subtle beautiful walnut feet on this thing, and the really nice what i believe is original fabric in great vintage shape! Please see pics, no stains, tears, only minor signs of its age which is probably around 50 or 60 years old! They don't make em like this any more. Mid Century Modern origami chairs in the manner of Gio Ponti. Original upholstery- baby blue and white in Naugahyde. Some scuffs around the edges- please look at pics- and three burn marks as you can see in the pictures. Cushions are fine. Wood legs have been refinished. Maker unknown. These are heavy. Quality chairs, though. One metal support bracket underneath was broken and it was replaced with a heavier gauge steel bracket. Measures: 36" tall x 31" wide x 32" deep. Three (3) Mccobb or Weinberg style mid century modern iron chairs Eames Era
Set of three Retro chairs that harken to the McCobb or Frederick Weinberg style of bent black iron. The legs splay out gently and terminate in killer ball feet. The seats and backs are covered in a nice rose and black vinyl burlap pattern that is a classic from the 1960s. Chairs are in excellent vintage shape with no bends or breaks to the iron(there is paint wear) and the back and seat should be cleaned. There is a small slit to one seat that is hardly noticeable. Chairs have an x-base as shown in picture 2. I think they would be fabulous in a kitchen setting. As a desk chair, a vanity seat, or a dressing chair in the bedroom. McCobb Origami Style Mid Century Modern Turquoise Fiberglass Shell Armchair
Mid Century Modern Turquoise Green Fiberglass Shell Arm Chair Vintage Eames Era. This is a hard to find fiberglass square back chair. Measures 32" high; the seat is 16" high x 26" wide x 17" deep; the arm rests are 26" across. The fiberglass shell is in very good condition with no cracks. This looks very much like Paul McCobb's Origami chair and is from the same time period. The metal rivets holding the chair on the metal frame have surface rust. It is missing two of the rubber caps on the legs. But still sits flat. Also has a few scratches and scuffs due to age. It has a label on the bottom that is too worn away to read the manufacturer, but it does say it was made in Austin Texas. This chair cannot be disassembled in anyway so the shipping is high because the chair is very large. Very sturdy condition. A great ... moreaddition to any retro Decore.

Well made with ceramic pottery cones and brass tone metal connector sections. One chip to one of the plastic sockets. See pics. actual vessel section is 22 inches tall. 28 tall to sockets. 41.5 tall to finial top. Base is 8 wide at bottom.
